ALL WASTED, the up and commers in the Death ´n´ Roll genre, from Gothenburg, Sweden release their much-anticipated debut album worldwide! The physical album Burn With Me contains previous digital released singles such as This Means War, Passion Of Crime, Towards The End, and Fading Out Of Line which put the band on the map with their energetic and slap-in-the-face kind of riffs. The album is recorded at All Wasted studio. Mixed and co-produced by Jakob Linnér at Mud Lake Studio. And mastered by Tony Lindgren from the enrich Fascination Street Studios (Opeth, Sepultura, Dimmu Borgir, Kreator).

Biography

ALL WASTED – A metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden. Created by members with the attitude that it’s time to “just have a damn good time”. After a couple of years of jamming and tuning in the “right style” the band decided to go public in 2020. Not only with a raw, energetic, punch in the face kind of music. But also with a full length album ready to go.

So what genre is it?

- Call it Rock ‘n roll – death or death ‘n roll or anything else that sounds cool!(?) But it’s energetic, heavy, punchy and easy listened at the same time. Just the right amount of trickiness, and party as hell. Just hard enough for the death metal heads, but still enough simple melodies for straight up rockers. There’s some “old school” in there for you as well as hardcore-punk”(?). Take a listen and you’ll know what we mean.

THE BLEEDING RELEASE "RISE INTO NOTHING"

A follow-up to the 2019 album Morbid Prophecy, Rise Into Nothing introduces Jordan Muscatello on bass after a line-up change in 2020. Mixed and mastered in Sweden by producer Ronnie Björnström, Rise Into Nothing also contains the 2021 reworkings of "Hammer of Penance" and "Morbid Prophecy," as well as an unreleased demo remix of "Sadistic Saviour." The EP closes with three bombastic live tracks from the Rites of Absolution era.

Electric Valley Records presents Cancervo’s debut LP, 1, out February 26th digitally and on LPs — 150x Green Vinyl, 120x Transparent Vinyl, and 30x Ultra LTD “Mountain Edition.”

Cancervo is an iconic mountain in the heart of a valley, rich in tradition and popular legends. Charmed by the tale of a half dog and half deer creature who lived on that mountain, three local guys from San Giovanni Bianco, Bergamo, started a heavy psych group, brimful of ‘70s heavy riffs and mystical moments. Without further ado, the power trio named the band Cancervo as a tribute to their own valley.

The Italian psych dealers’ debut, straightforwardly titled 1, represents local places and folktales. A complete instrumental outing, the album will drag the listeners between mystic mountains (“Aralalta”), rushing river (“1987”), wildfire (“Cancervo”), deathly gallery (“Darco”), and murky village (“Averara”). As a surprise, the LP additionally offers an instrumental version of Cream’s “Swlabr.”

Throughout the six numbers, the heavy rock ensemble walks the line between both erratic and expected territories, dabbling in sedating psych, deserted stoner/doom, and preternatural prog — certainly upholding the ‘70s spirit.

In 1982, Metal Blade Records put out its first release: Metal Massacre, a compilation album that included Metallica, Ratt, and many other influential artists. Now, Metal Blade will be releasing Metal Massacre XV on May 21st - and continuing the legacy of the first album - the collection will once again contain a sampling of contemporary heavy metal, curated by Decibel Magazine's Albert Mudrian.

Ryan Williams (Metal Blade Records A&R), who coordinated this installment of Metal Massacre, comments: "The legend of the 'Metal Massacre' series is the first thing many people think of when they hear 'Metal Blade Records'. Famously, it's how Brian Slagel introduced the world to Metallica - not to mention many up-and-coming bands throughout the 80s, 90s and 2000s. When Metal Blade's President Tracy Vera suggested I organize the next volume, I was honored to pick up the baton and run with it. While brainstorming about the direction to take, Nikki Law (our Head of Publicity) suggested partnering with Albert at Decibel Magazine, who is legendary in his own right for having a perpetual ear-to-the-ground of the deepest corners of the underground metal scene. Luckily it didn't take any arm twisting for Albert to be a part of the team on this the 15th edition, so we went to work looking for awesome bands to work with, and I think we have put together a distinct collection of bands and songs. We tried to stay true to the old school mentality of making a compilation tape for your friends, featuring bands you really just want other people to check out. This edition includes a diverse collection of metal acts, heavy hitters, modern, and old school tunes - so hopefully there is something for everyone here! Turn it up and enjoy!"

Sentinent Ruin is excited to announce the imminent release of “Crown on the head of a King of Mud”, the debut offering by California-based one-man noise metal/punk deformation Human Failure, a mangled and gnarled disfiguration of raw death metal, raw punk and harsh noise spewn from the outer limits of complete nihilism and inhumanity. The wretched offering will arrive in early May 2021 on 10” EP format via Sentient Ruin in collaboration with Caligari Records.

A taste of plague-riddled release has been provided by Antichrist Magazine who has offered an exclusive premiere of the opening track “Poison Ideals“ (check out the track and feature HERE), while Decibel Magazine unveiled the track “Your Hope Is a Noose”, explaining that “Human Failure’s debut full-length Crown on the Head of a King of Mud is just one explosion after the other as harsh-noise, hardcore punk and utterly detached death metal brawl for dominance“ - you can check out the track and feature HERE.

An antihuman display of total sonic barbarism, “Crown on the head of a King of Mud” unifies various schools of thought in the realm of raw, stripped down and purposely under-produced and stylistically regressed forms of audial anarchy. In its unforgiving and mindless quest for total filth and primeval animalistic violence, the release brings us back to early punk-derived releases from Napalm Death, Discharge, G.I.S.M., and (early) Carcass, and follows their natural evolution through the first wave of primitive death metal bands like Nihilist and Autopsy, only to then deliberately skip entire generations of musical progress to embrace instead the chaos and and disarray of contemporary noise and power electronics. The end result is something that while sounding timelessly feral and atavistic also comes with a compelling aura of modernity and experimentalism that places the project among one of the most interesting and still considerably unexplored extremisms of contemporary underground music: the hybridizations of extreme metal and electronic noise that seek new ways to blindside and annihilate the listener and which are shaping up to becoming the most violent and transformative fringes in the underground today.

“Crown on the head of a King of Mud” will be officially released on May 7 2021 on 10” vinyl EP format and digital via Sentient Ruin in collaboration with Caligari Records, who will also issue a cassette tape version.
