NEANDERTHAL RELEASE "RISE"

Based in Essex, UK, Neanderthal are a modern metal outfit with a ten-year pedigree. The ferocious four piece were established in 2012 in the heart of Southend, by its founding father Alec Shelmerdine (bass and vocals), with the sole objective to create a sound that embodied his passion for the music he had lived all his life. In Summer 2016, Jay McGregor joined the cause. With his blistering drumbeats forged by the thrash metal of old, he complimented the thundering sound of Shelmerdine’s four string and the complexity of Stokes & Loveridge’s guitars perfectly. Post covid big changes arrived, with the departure of both Stokes and Loveridge, Shelmerdine moved back to guitar when Andy Ewings (Spewy) joined on bass and Dr Tom Robinson-Perry took over on second guitar duties. Now complete and ready to leave their very unique pulse pounding mark on this vast landscape known as Metal It`s not possible to hold Neanderthal to one style, one minute its crushing riffs, then high speed melodic rhythms, then heavy dynamic crushing breakdowns. It’s a unique brand of metal, and its totally their own. This all adds up to fusing the gap left between the bands that inspired them and the more mainstream metal causing even the most casual listeners to nod their heads to the beat of their sound and sing along to the catchy choruses. Hungry listeners across the world craved Neanderthals tonal tuneage, and they continue to enjoy a decent following in Europe and the Americas. Probably one of the standout strengths of the band are their awe-inspiring live performances. Already headlining most of their live performances this year, they bring a relentless steamroller of a show. Like any band worth their salt, Neanderthal treasure their fans and their continuous support to them is never forgotten. There may be a lot of metal bands out there, but there is only one “Neanderthal.”

SUSURRO RELEASE NEW SINGLE: "LIFE MATTERS"

PRESS RELEASE:

German death/thrash/tantric metal band Susurro released their new single "Life Matters" on July 14 at Masters of Rock in Vizovice (Czech Republic). The release was recorded at AMSS-UG Studios and mixed and mastered by Andy Lux.

Band founder Jack Skaner describes the song as follows: Racism, police violence. Inequality in politics and justice is on the rise. Get rid of dictatorships, freedom, equality, we are all equal. Susurro was founded in 2019 by Jack Skaner (vocals/guitar) in Allmersbach. Shortly after, Mr. Six-Ell (bass) and Winzent Walace (guitar/keyboards) joined the band and the line- up was complete.

The band's debut album, Erratic, was released in January 2022.

TRISKELYON RELEASE "ARTIFICIAL INSANITY"

Canada’s new power thrash metal gods Triskelyon returns to deliver the stainless steel goods again on their highly anticipated second album “Artificial Insanity” (mixed and mastered by Michael Small (Winterhearth, Triskelyon, Artach)). Founded in 2021 by guitarist Geoff Waye, of the popular true metal band Category VI, Triskelyon released one self-titled EP and was promptly signed to Moribund Records for their radio chart-topping debut album “Downfall” (2022).

On Triskelyon’s second outing, band leader Geoff Waye has once more recruited the crème de le crème of the Canadian metal scene. Enlisting the vocal talents of guests Amanda Jackman (Category VI), Armin Kamal (Infrared), Cara McCutchen (Mortillery, Naitaka), Dale Drew (Sea Dogs), Des Mason, Ellim, Pete Healey, Raúl Álvarez (Dark Order-Aus.) and Tim Tymo (Tymo) culminate in a varied album, which delivers both pure thrash metal classics, hints of blackened melodic thrash, and enough power metal to bring one back to the 1980s.

Drum Duties are shared between Raul Marques (Burning Torment) and Alexander Raykov (Antreib), while Dwayne Pike, Keith Jackman (Category VI), and Darrin Pope are conscripted on bass.

With “Artificial Insanity”, Triskelyon returns with a varied yet blistering thrash/power metal classic, bringing back the 1980’s glory days, while maintaining a fresh and modern sound. To close the album Triskelyon surprises all with an incredible female-fronted power metal rendition of the hit song “It Doesn't Really Matter” by Canadian rockers Platinum Blonde.

Today, the band is giving a taste of what's to hit the mosh pit with their first single "Visionaries".
