YHWH SIGNS WITH WORMHOLEDEATH FOR RELEASE OF "TETRAGRAMMATON"

In a thunderous collision of Belgian and Thai extreme metal sensibilities, enigmatic blackened death metal project YHWH has inked a devastating deal with Wormholedeath, preparing to unleash their debut EP "Tetragrammaton" on April 25, 2025.

Forged in the shadowy depths of underground metal, YHWH emerges as a cryptic musical entity led by composer Schem HaMephorash and her sister C. Bones, with S.M. Goat Ritual joining their ritualistic sonic assault in June 2024. Their debut EP represents a raw, uncompromising exploration of extreme metal's most primal instincts.

"These tracks are eight years in the making," the band cryptically reveals. "No overarching concept—just a relentless progression of sonic brutality inspired by the most extreme metal pioneers."

"Tetragrammaton" promises to be an unfiltered descent into the most visceral realms of blackened death metal, drawing inspiration from the genre's most relentless predecessors.

DISSONANT SEEPAGE RELEASE "DYSTOPIA PUTRESCENCE"

Hailing from Rochester, New York, Dissonant Seepage have established themselves as one of the heaviest, most unflinchingly impactful exponents of brutal death metal around. They released a well received full length debut album – The Darkness Will Swallow You Whole – in 2023, but in 2025 Dissonant Seepage are ascending to the next level. Now signed to Comatose Music, home of the sickest and most savage sounds in existence, they are about to unleash their second album, Dystopian Putrescence, a shocking, sanity-shredding beast preaching from a gospel of corruption and decomposition.

Even amongst the dank and desolate horrors of brutal death metal, Dissonant Seepage are outliers, operating across a fearsome sonic spectrum of extremity. Songs like ‘Rotting Monument’ consume you, plunging you into a realm of lurching chaos, of violent tempos and riffs that writhe and squirm through trenches of filth, bottomless rifts of decay and despair. Sounds seem to be summoned from guitars where strings hang like loosely looped entrails from their necks and words erupt from the torn throats of the long dead. From ‘Gargling Nails’ to ‘Dead Carcass To Worship’ Dystopian Putrescence seals you within its chapel of infected flesh, attacking and disorientating again and again.

Recorded, mixed and mastered at the renowned Atrium Audio (August Burns Red, Rivers Of Nihil, Black Crown Initiate etc) Dystopian Putrescence sounds unfathomable in its grotesque weight and disturbing, suppurating textures, while the visual horror has been supplied by artist Pär Olofsson (Exodus, Immolation, Unleashed etc) whose distinctive imagery feeds the vile visions conjured by this collection of disfigured monstrosities. Comatose Music will send this plague out into the world on June 6th and there will be no escaping its wicked contamination.

VOLUCRINE RELEASE VIDEO FOR "THE VERGE"

The Finnish modern metal band Volucrine released a new music video 'The Verge'. The track is taken from their latest ETNA album which was release last year via Inverse Records.

"The ETNA cycle is nearing its end, and we want to wrap it up by releasing a music video for THE VERGE, a song that reflects on the 2023-2024 tour we did in support of the album. This album cycle has been the most important of the band’s career, starting with the release of the first singles. During this time, we grew into a fully-fledged band once again, survived the pandemic, played more shows than ever before, shattered all personal streaming records, released the most polished album of our career, and multiplied our fan base several times over.

Along the way, we also got to re-experience just how amazing the camaraderie in the band is. We truly enjoyed being on the road, and there was never a lack of laughter, even to the point of oxygen deprivation. And a HUGE thanks to the audience! We live for your accepting smiles, your raised fists, and the energy you give us, always coming back to us tenfold. This energy is what fueled the creation of THE VERGE music video, a party anthem about escaping reality, featuring footage captured from the road that radiates positive vibes.

We will begin recording our fifth Volucrine album in Kouvola this spring, with the goal of releasing fresh music before the end of the year. There are more than a dozen new tracks, and while the legacy of ETNA can certainly be heard in them, prepare to expect the unexpected, as is our band’s style. The album will once again be produced by the band’s bassist, Joni Kyynäräinen (KyySounds). Marko Orava and Erik Lindroos will make their debut on the guitars for this album."

Volucrine are a modern metal band that grew up by the cold Kymijoki river, in the shadows of Kouvola's concrete structures. Founded in 2009, Volucrine's mission has been, ever since the beginning, to tell stories of relatable emotions and challenges; to reflect and articulate humane themes beyond the borders of pain. The band's style of genre-defying melodic alternative metal with vigorous guitar riffs, catchy choruses, and varied, rich vocal arrangements has only grown and refined over the years. Volucrine's characteristic sound is created by mixing elements of progressive metal, melodic death metal and metalcore with the conventions of pop and rock music. This mixture creates a heartfelt but heavy style of music, where genuine emotion and primal frenzy go hand in hand. 

At the beginning of 2024, the band released their fourth full-length album, ETNA, and were eager to get back on stage after spending a long time working in the studio.
