Drowned is a Brazilian Thrash/Death Metal band based in Belo Horizonte, the same City of Sepultura, Sarcófago, Chakal, Mutilator and more.

The band was formed by Fernando Lima (vocals) in 1994, but just really started regular rehearsals in 1998. Rodrigo Nunes (bass), Beto Loureiro (drums), Oderus and Marcos Amorim (guitars) joined the band and released a demo-tape, “Where dark and Light Divide…”, in 1999. In 2000 Rafael Porto replaced Oderus and this is, incredibly, the same line-up today.

The first album was BONEGRINDER, in 2001, released by legend label Cogumelo Records and Drowned has never stopped. A new album is coming, RECIPE OF HATE, 8th of a two-decade career, including Greyhaze Records USA/EU distribution.

Drowned has a solid place in the Brazilian Metal Scene, with tons of concerts in Brazil and one European Tour.

RECIPE OF HATE is the new album of Drowned – release date programmed: March 25th, 2022, via Cogumelo Records (BRA)/Greyhaze Records (Exterior).

The new album is a back to the roots, the same line-up of the first releases. It’s a full-length with focus in the chaotic reality of Brazil and the World today. Emergent, aggressive, bluntly, no lost words…

Songs and Lyrics speak for themselves, and the sound is what you expect from the band. Politics, preachers, false philosophers, influencers, scientists, denialists, conspiracy theories, Environment, obscurantism, stupidity, scoundrel and more, nothing scapes.

The Recipe of Hate Drowned didn’t develop, but no one will stop the band to transform it in brutal music, as a Brazilian Metal knows how to do.

Founded in 2011 in Wolfsburg, Germany, CYPHONISM have made it their mission to combine unconditional death metal with heavy grooves and dense atmospheres, whereby the content mainly deals with themes of cosmic horror and sci-fi. With the release of their debut "Obsidian Nothingness" in 2016, the band was already able to attract attention from the scene.

With "Cosmic Voidance", the second album of the band from Lower Saxony is now ready to be released, which refines and consequently continues the path they have taken so far, both in terms of content and style. 10 bone-crushing neck breakers, stylistically at home in extreme, technical death metal, should strain the neck muscles of every friend of this genre.

The album was mixed and mastered by Aljoscha Töpel at Konstrukted Audio Studio. The impressive and conceptual artwork is by Jakhangir Zeynalov and guitarist Julian Müller.

Short Bio: Extinction In Progress (EIP) plays alternative death metal, which is a combination of aggression, unique arrangements, skillful playing and a little bit humor on top of it. Lyrics are mainly inspired by movies, video games and comic books.

Extinction In Progress releases their debut album "Shades of Pale". The basis of the album is cast firmly from modern, aggressive death metal, in which emotions from a wide spectrum are skillfully woven into: from fragile, beautiful melancholy to crushing despair.

"This record has been under construction since 2019 and we're really excited to finally reveal it to others! It's everything we want to express with our music. We're very proud of the result."

RIBSPREADER RELEASE "CRYPT WORLD"

Veteran Swedish/US Death Metal band RIBSPREADER has just revealed the cover art, as well as the 1st advance single and tracklist for what will be their 1st full album entitled "Crypt World" which will see the light next May 31st through Xtreem Music on CD, 12"LP, Cassette & Digital formats.

Led by Swedish genius Rogga Johansson (PAGANIZER, PUTREVORE, THE GROTESQUERY, REVOLTING...) on guitar/ bass/ vocals and accompanied by guitarist Taylor Nordberg (DEICIDE, INHUMAN CONDITION, ex-MASSACRE...) and drummer Jeramie Kling (VENOM INC., INHUMAN CONDITION, ex-MASSACRE...), RIBSPREADER have recorded a great album in which they have given a little twist to their style incorporating a more MASSACRE-like touch to their usual Swedish sound. The art, this time, has been made by the Venezuelan artist John Quevedo Janssens.
