In a month’s time, “The Blessing of Downfall”, the new album by the Atmospheric Doom band FADED REMEMBRANCE, will be released.

Faded Remembrance is a solo musical project of Doom / Death / Gothic / Melodic and Atmospheric Metal founded in early 2020 by Tamas Albert in Győr (Raab), in the northwest of Hungary.

Its music is rooted in the vibrations of Doom / Death / Gothic the old school of the 90s and the first decade of the 21st century with bands like: Anathema, early Paradise Lost, Sear Bliss, Candlemass, Cathedral, Death, Carcass, My Dying Bride, Moonspell, Celtic Frost, The Blood Divine...

After three albums, "The Age of Emptiness", "Delusion of Silence" and "Dying Age", which received good reviews, the project returns with its fourth album “The Blessing Of Downfall” scheduled for May 15th 2026 on the Bitume Prods label.

The music is supported by trumpet, trombone and synth. The rhythm of play is slow-mid tempo (60-150) using 4/4, 3/4, 6/8, 6/4 time signatures. The vocals have clean and harsh parts as well. Tuning is standard D and very distorted rhythm guitars and bass, the clean and solo guitars have an atmospheric tonality.

The songs have lots of melody inside but also the trumpet, trombone and synth can add some bitter-sweet tonality to them.

The lyrics are about human nature, inner struggles, faith, existence, emotions and nature, they are more poems than just simple lyrics.

METEORA RELEASE A VIDEO FOR "DARKEST LIGHT"

Over recent months Hungarian symphonic metallers, Meteora, have released a trilogy of EPs - In this Silence, Broken Mind and Dissonance. They have now brought all the songs that comprised these EPs together, with an additional unreleased instrumental track, into one full length album - Darkest Light. WITCHER RELEASE VIDEO FOR "ÖRÖKLET"

WitcheR’s history started back in 2010. The band was formed by Gere Karola (synths, vocal) and Neubauer Roland (guitars, drums, vocal) in order to perform atmospheric black metal music based on classical music elements and strong synths harmonies. From the very beginning, catchy melodies and elevated mood took important parts in the music. The lyrics are mostly about witchcraft, Hungarian folklore, adherence to old values, and the maximum opposition to the modern world.

New album "Öröklét" was released November 4, 2025 on CD and tape via Filosofem Records (pre-order), on vinyl via Beveria Productions (pre-order) and popular streaming platforms (Bandcamp, Spotify, Amazon, Apple, Deezer, Tidal). Cover artwork was done by Grafit & Hamu Artworks.

The third video clip by WitcheR has been released, created for the title track of their fourth full-length album, "Öröklét (Eternity)".

The work is not only a musical piece but also a visual special feature, as the clip was created over the course of an entire year and evokes the ancient rituals of pagan witches.

“We didn’t just want to make a video clip, we wanted to experience the entire year in the spirit of the song.” — WitcheR comments.

The freshly released video further deepens WitcheR’s dark, mystical universe, where music, nature, and ancient traditions form an organic unity. The rituals appearing in the clip are rooted in pagan ceremonies tied to solstices, witch traditions, and the cycles of nature.

The long, year-long creative process made it possible for the video not only to tell a story, but also to convey time and cyclicality, and even to document the changing of the seasons.

In "Emptiness," the band takes a brutal yet introspective dive into the emotional void, tackling themes of isolation, despair, and the deep human longing for connection. Atrox Trauma was founded in 2008 in Hungary. Their goal, according to the music genre, was clear from the beginning: thrash metal with death metal influences. The band recorded 2 EPs during its earlier years besides performing on live gigs. The band's strength increased in 2019, and they have been spinning at an unstoppable speed since then. It gave a series of concerts in its motherland and countries in the neighborhood. The band creates a huge listener experience with its tight, intense, fast, and face-tearing music.

SIN OF GOD RELEASE "BLOOD BOUND"

Exitus Stratagem Records announces their signing of Hungarian extreme metal masters SIN OF GOD for their fourth studio album "Blood Bound" out February 2025. Following their album "Aenigmata" released in 2016, "Blood Bound" has come a long way from its writing inception in 2019, and unfortunate setbacks with lineup changes and COVID to finally make its way to the studio in 2022/23 with the mixing and mastering done by the super-talented Sam Winslow in 2024.

With influences in thrash, ODM, and blackened and progressive death metal, Sin of God's next sacrificial offering will please both old and new-school death metal fans at the same time. This new full-length presents a collection of variations that exhibit brutality and softness. It is something fans have heard in the past from the band but it has never sounded like this.

"We all think fans will love it. It’s somewhat different from its predecessors. It’s more complex and based on modern death metal. We built Blood Bound musically on contrasts. There are amazingly fast parts (260 BPM,) but really slow parts as well." adds guitarist Tamás Kis.

Exploring our present society, "Blood Bound" resonates with everything surrounding us, from the good and the bad to the beautiful and ugly, to life and death.

"We are in decline and we haven’t got much time before we hit the bottom. There is less and less beauty in our present world. We are rapidly marching towards the rotting chaos. People do nothing about it. They destroy but do not build. So let it be! As you look at our album artwork, it is metaphorically based on humanity’s current state in the light of human history. We wanted it to be realized in the style of Renaissance paintings therefore the contrast is extremely sharp between beauty and uglyness. Pure and evil. Perfect and deformed. "Blood Bound" is not a concept album, but it is united by the pain and rage that boils inside and felt over seven tracks that are simple and raw, yet ferocious and gentle. To give fans their first experience with the album, Sin of God is unveiling the first single "No Return" accompanied by an animated video. The song is about a person who cannot get rid of drugs and sacrifices everything is going to hell.

"No Return is our favorite song on Blood Bound. It is the essence of what we want to express musically and lyrically as well. The fall of our present society. That’s what it’s all about. Our vocalist Tamás Schupkégel wrote the lyrics. On first hearing it is about a drug addict descending into madness, falling into his very own hell which he created from the many pains he experienced and committed towards others during his life. We consume, we devour, we destroy. We create non-existent problems for ourselves while not dealing with the real ones. It's so comfortable. Sticking our heads in the sand. Only our comfort is important. We are addicted to our ego. While the trees and waters disappear and only the sand remains. The emptiness. The loneliness. The pain. We build our hell. And there is no return!”

Atrox Trauma was founded in 2008, in Hungary. Their goal according to the music genre was clear from the beginning, thrash metal with death metal influences. The band recorded 2 EP-s during its earlier years besides performing on live gigs. The band's strength increased in 2019 and they have been spinning at an unstoppable speed since then. It gave a series of concerts in its motherland and countries in the neighborhood. The band creates a huge experience for the listeners with its tight, intense, fast, and face-tearing music.

In 2022 they released their first LP called 'On The Line Of Nothing And Something' by the Italian label WormHoleDeath.The listener can experience everything from the most intense immersion to melodic thrash metal. Four music videos are providing visual support for the fan approachable experience.

By the end of 2024, they took the stage in a lot of countries, performing in tours, and festivals and also recorded their second LP ”Where Death Hunts”.

NEST OF PLAGUES RELEASE "BLACKENED SKY" VISUALIZER

Blackened Sky is a story about a person who climbs up a mountain with all his effort to find the meaning of his life. On his way, he fights against physical obstacles put against him by nature like unbearable cold and extreme heights that he tries to overcome, while he also struggles with his mind. He goes through devouring thoughts in his head every second of every minute as in his mind he tries to defeat social expectations and the pressure on his shoulders created by society (or himself?). When he reaches the top, he finds absolute solitude and strength. There is only him and the endless sky there.

The song is the second single from Nest of Plagues’ third concept album ‘Hellsolation’ being released this September. The album deals with social problems and creates a metaphor for the struggles that we all go through every day. In the video of Blackened Sky, the band visualizes how vulnerable and helpless a person can be while life hurdles problems at them - they just stand silently and bear the pain while they’re constantly hit in the face by ‘bombs’. Despite the serious lyrical message, they don’t break away from their eclecticism - the video has a trash horror image and doesn’t neglect humor either.

With their lyrics, Nest of Plagues reflects on modern social diseases like social anxiety, depression, and the feeling of loneliness that people can collectively feel. Sharing this message, they encourage people to face their mental problems and connect, use the power of community. Bringing a fresh sound to the stage, they expanded from a metalcore sound into groove metal with elements of alternative metal while still adding a little core edge to the mix. Due to their eclectic image and powerful live performances, they bring a little joy and fun where it seems there is only darkness.

The song was mixed and mastered by Gábor Vári, the producer of Miracle Sound. The music video was produced by Peter John Kiss. Artwork were created by Sándor Szalay.
