Established in 2018, Hungarian quintett Nefalem is destined to keep the flame of melodic death metal in a fresh and modern way. Following the path carved by bands like Amon Amarth, Trivium, or Rotting Christ and Soilwork, they evoke “A Realm Beyond”, their 11 track-long debut album, to tell tales from the darkest depths of both imagination and history alike about false gods, pagan legends, afterlife, and baneful heroes. All is said in an epic musical world which also merits from genres like black metal and modern heavy metal.
