CARCARIASS is a Metal band from France. The current line-up is Pascal Lanquetin (All guitars and Keyboard), Raphaël Couturier (bass), Bertrand Simonin (drums) and Jérôme Thomas (vocals). The music of CARCARIASS is going from Death Metal to Heavy Metal. A powerful and melodic music with many instrumental passages that follow each other with extreme fluidity. The name CARCARIASS comes from Carcharodon Carcharias, the latin name of the Great White Shark. New album called « PLANET CHAOS », is the 5th album of the band, it contains 13 tracks, about 70 minutes, Recorded and mixed at Downtone Studio Switzerland by Drop (SAMAEL’s & SYBREED’s guitarist), mastered at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden by Jens Bogren (ARCH ENEMY, AMON AMARTH,…), Cover by Headsplit Design. THE AGONIST RELEASE VIDEO FOR "IMMACULATE DECEPTION"

Death metal trailblazers THE AGONIST have just revealed a twisted new music video for the crushing, grooving track "Immaculate Deception", cut from their JUNO Award nominated EP, Days Before the World Wept, out now via Napalm Records!

The dark and disturbing clip comes just in time to prepare fans for the band's upcoming European tour. Featuring headliners Hypocrisy, special guests Septicflesh and fellow support artists Horizon Ignited, the run begins this coming Friday, September 30 in Germany. Vocalist Vicky Psarakis says:

"Immaculate Deception is a song about societal pressure and feelings of remorse over time.

The main point I want to highlight is the concept of time and the fear that comes with it. We all reach a point where we start noticing that we're aging. In current society, there's a big push to try and preserve our physical state. There's a huge movement of cosmetic procedures and products that promise us "eternal youth". People like to think that they can keep reliving their 20s, instead of embracing the natural course of life and the challenges and rewards that come with it.

To bring this vision to life, we focused on our main character coming face to face with different versions of herself: her naturally aged older self chasing her with an imaginary "mob" (representing society) and her unrecognizable cosmetically altered self staring at her through the mirror. She ultimately realizes she can not run anymore.

Remorse is a powerful feeling and influencing factor for a lot of our decisions, but the fact is you can never go back in time and change the things you've done. All you can do is learn and push yourself to be better over time.

HILD – “ValFreiya” – debut album

Odium Records announces signing the new, unique Swedish band HILD. It’s the new band of Lars Broddesson, known as ex drummer of Marduk and session drummer of Funeral Mist and Black Altar. Debut album “ValFreiya” is going to be released on October 7th as a 6 panels digi pack and contains 12 songs of violent Thrash metal with Black and Crust influences. The band is deeply influenced by the Nordic mythology and Mysticism.

Lars Broddesson about HILD and the album ValFreiya:

“HILD, meaning battle/strife, is a war and battle themed project centred around the Valkyries of Nordic mythology. Each song named after, and honouring, a specific Valkyrie, channelling their respective traits.

HILD came to life in a flash one late summer evening while walking entranced through the landscape. I was instructed by my higher powers to head back to my studio and complete a 2-minutes song in one session.

The aim was to do so as Thrash Metal under the banner of HILD, a band name I´d had in the back of my head for some time.

The divine spark of inspiration hit immediately and I had most of the song and entire concept ready in my head before I was back at the studio to record. The song, ValFreiya, Took 5 hours roughly.

I got a taste for it and decided to keep it going and not let any song be longer than 2:30 or take more than 6-7 hours to complete. A few weeks later I had 12 songs, an album, finished barely knowing what happened.

It's raw, relentless energy! We go for that feeling of violent rapture and ecstatic rush.

That primal, wild animal connection when you feel absolutely amazing, yet want to wreck everything around you.

That´s fucking Thrash Metal for you! Influences like Black Metal, Crust and Hardcore naturally came along during the work, creating a sound of its own. But it´s all about Thrash energy. I ended up with the slogan "Violent Swedish Metal" for it.

Cos that´s what it´s about. Maximum energy! Headfirst into the pit! Face up to your fate!

The battles of Life and death, the strife and the struggles in joyous abandon knowing you can die any second.

The roaring death entities roaring in the wind while we play with our lives at stake laughing in madness.

That´s HILD. We´re the soundtrack to that!"

GORGATRON RELEASE "AGONY REBORN"

Fargo (ND) - North Dakota's resident Death Dealers GORGATRON will release the Agony Reborn EP November 4 on digital and cassette formats via Blood Blast Distribution. The cassette version is limited to 100 copies and also includes four exclusive live tracks on Side B.

The first single from Agony Reborn, "The Unwilling," will be released on October 14 on all digital platforms, along with the official video for the track.

The EP, which is the final release of the Blood Blast Distribution deal, consists of three original studio recordings and a cover of Sepultura's "Dead Embryonic Cells." GORGATRON is currently seeking a new label for release of the band's recently recorded full-length album. Interested parties should contact Cameron.Gorgatron@gmail.com.

GORGATRON's sound is based on a “love of the riff” approach to writing and rooted in the old-school stylings of Death Metal and Thrash, one that comes across loud and clear on Agony Reborn. The EP is a product of what the band has dubbed the “Covid Sessions." As further explained by bassist Cameron Dewald: "We were on track to do a bunch of touring etc to support our last album Pathogenic Automation (2020) but clearly and for obvious reasons that didn’t happen… So instead we stayed as busy as we could in 2020 and 2021, played a few shows and hashed out some new tunes. The cover for 'Dead Embyronic Cells' was originally for Metal Injections Slay At Home series, but we ended up holding onto it and found a suitable home for it on this EP."

BIO:

The idea for the band started sometime around 2006. After a couple demos and lineup changes, the first record Torturtorium was released independently in 2010. The lineup changed again for the sophomore LP Inner Supremacy, and was released independently in 2015.

Antipathic born from an idea of Chris (from Human Repugnance), that proposes to Tat0 (from Glacial Fear , Zora, Defechate, Throne of flesh) to start a new project in February of 2017, in which to pour all the whole passion for the extreme music thatthey for a long time cultivate.

With Chris from the United States to the guitar and drums, and Tat0 from Italy to the voice and the bass guitar, the combo made immediately the first ep, Autonomous Mechanical Extermination, published to April 2017; three songs that space among the grind the brutal and the slam, with strong matrix death metal.

Brutality and apocalyptic sceneries are the principal ingredients of the proposed music, and it is on this line that immediately put on to the job on the full length, Humanimals, out for Despise the Sun Records in January 2019; a work composed of 12 tracks in which the band continues to narrate the apocalyptic theme of the predominance of machines and artificial intelligence on the man.

Extreme music, killer machines but also fun and joke, and it is on this principle that they publish in April 2020 the EP Covered With Rust, with the artwork of a classic death metal album revised in Antipathic style and two covers of classic death metal songs, a homage to two great death metal band.

In 2022 a new release, INFESTATION, is ready, with Krysztof Kungbein on drums session … 8 tracks that continue to narrate the invitable machine-lead-apocalypse we invite you to remain in contact ... STAY ANTIPATHIC!
