As if hatched from the darkened corners of human nature, “Eksortsist” aggressively proves that the band definitely has not drifted off into the pandemia’s miserable coma sleep. The song is released under Inverse Records.

“Eksortsist” was recorded at Heliala studio by Janek Kivi. The video was directed by Eero Soomere and shot by Erlend Štaub. Editing and colouring were done by Rasmus Tauk and Laur Lindmäe.

SWARN RELEASE "ABYSMAL HALLUCINATIONS" EP

The ritualistic death metal act Swarn from Tartu, Estonia announces the birth of their new EP „Abysmal Hallucinations”. The release is noteworthy for containing only one 20-minute song that rushes through the dark vaults of the human psyche both with furiously fast and sadistically slow riffs. The EP also marks a change in the sound of the band – while Swarn have previously been known for blackened crust death metal they have now fused harsh malignancy of black metal with the depressing weight of doom in their upcoming release. 

Swarn characterise their creation as a dual delirium, the lunatic travels of the instrumentalist/composer Fen and vocalist 1695 through the spiritual wasteland. It is a reminder why the beings with limited strength and experience should never jump into the esoteric unknown that can effortlessly crush them. Spiritual journeys are not for everyone – especially for human beings. 

The EP „Abysmal Hallucinations” is released through Warhorn Records on cassette and digitally on the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 2021. There will be a limited edition of 30 lyric sheets which were printed on both sides with a manual press. Therefore, each single one of the lyric sheets will be a unique item for collectors. The Dark Horde is a collective of internationally recognised musicians, vocalists and actors from Melbourne, Australia. Together they have created The Calling, a concept album written and directed by Andrew "Brewin" Drage.

The Calling is a musical narrative experience featuring a supernatural horror story set to an "eighties heavy metal" soundtrack. It is the prequel to Brewin's award-winning horror novel The Dark Horde, set in south-eastern Australia in 1989.

'DOUBLE SINGLE' is a preview from the ‘BIZARRO SLAM’ band, 'LORD GORE LORD' of the forthcoming 11 track full-length album ‘RECTALOBOTOMY’

LGL composes Strohpic forms arranged by aleatory

‘RECTALOBOTOMY’ is an album based in counter-punctual and polyphonous method. Using singular beat patterns under constant staggering reconstruction at 300BPM with gravity bursts in excess of 9kBPM that combines programmed and live percussion. The music morphs continually in a seemingly random and chaotic mode featuring three overlapping desynchronized guitar (8/6/4 strings) parts playing out various punchy bent sliding (often times microtonal) riffs at shifting tempi which creates a “melting pot” type of sound.

The results are an intensely dense and weird djenting stoner sludge music, which has elements congeal in a contrasting manner where they devolve often to the point of confrontational eruption and dissipation. Being informed by classical as much as jazz, the arrangements are set to t-rex toned cupped tunnel-throated vocals and conceptual story-style sampling from the 'TPBs'. Somehow these highly cacophonous compositions come together in their raw caustic disharmony to make music that sounds unbelievable with it’s ugly persistently dysfunctional grime-encrusted throb, bringing together BSDM with DSBM in a way that is entirely unique.
