ABORTED FETUS RELEASE "PYRAMIDS OF DOMINATION"

PRESS RELEASE:
The world may seem to be in a permanent state of change and uncertainty at the moment, but there are still some things that you can trust. When the primal roar of ABORTED FETUS shakes the Ural Mountains then you know that an album of monstrous death metal is about to be unleashed. The passing years become the passing decades but these Russian beasts just get heavier and heavier with the passage of time and no-one is going to be disappointed by their latest invocation of evil.

Pyramids Of Damnation is the seventh full length album from ABORTED FETUS and it demonstrates an unflinching dedication to the art of death. Featuring some of the heaviest songs that the band have ever recorded, steeped in the rites and rituals of ancient Egypt and the flesh ravaging curses of vengeful gods, it captures an atmosphere and intensity that goes beyond anything the band have released before. Songs like ‘Locust Of Death’ and ‘Fire Spreading Over The Earth’ take everything to another level, with breathtaking riffs, intimidating power, howling solos and subtle shades of chilling eastern magic. Aborted Fetus have become one of the most potent death metal bands on the planet; the living, breathing, bleeding embodiment of the genre – defining and refining the meaning of death.
The alliance between Comatose Music and ABORTED FETUS remains unbreakable and on September 11th they will let loose Pyramids Of Damnation onto the defenceless world; an elixir of life for fans of bone-breaking heaviness and extremity...a sentence of death to the weak. The unstoppable force of ABORTED FETUS has returned once more and damnation awaits!

For a first taste of Pyramids Of Damnation you can check a  premiere of the track 'Invasion Of Bloodsucking Insects' below!

VESTAL CLARET RELEASE "VESTAL CLARET" ALBUM

PRESS RELEASE:
Vestal Claret - Vestal Claret
Self-Released
23 June 2020

Critically acclaimed occult metal band VESTAL CLARET are pleased to announce that they have released their new self-titled album via Bandcamp.

After a dozen physical releases on various formats and labels, to a more and more saturated genre, Vestal Claret set off to compose something musically broader and songwriter-oriented. Cliches were avoided, as well as anything that could gallop or be muted in its riffing.

The first two songs written from the new record were “Abandoned” and “Shadows.”  Their creation, released as the demo Two Stones 2017,  was meant to be an experiment to pursue the possibility of stepping away from any heavy metal tendencies. Those two songs became a template for creating a new life for Vestal Claret, while also bringing the band back closer to its original intent.

Musically, the new recording relies on Simon’s natural progressive nature.  Influenced by his years in the New England music scene and his love of medieval folk, the creative process for this recording was an ideal situation.  He had complete freedom to perform and produce as broadly as he could imagine.

Phil wrote the lyrics while driving cross country, spending well over a year living in a van, split between the beaches of Southern California and the Sedona Arizona desert. Isolation and recluse are its strongest influence.

Mixing and mastering was provided by Arthur Rizk (Powertrip, Sacred Riech, Cromags, Cavalera Conspiracy, Code Orange, Pissed Jeans,Ghostmane, Inquisition) and drums were performed by Justin de Tore (Magic Circle, Innumerable Forms, Mind Eraser, No Tolerance, Rival Mob).

No boundaries or barriers confine this new vision of Vestal Claret. It contains as much simplicity as it does complexity. It has no intent nor idea to be a genre recording. Its only ambition is to complement the bands maturity as musicians and songwriters to the best of its current ability.

Vestal Claret is: Phil Swanson: Vocals; Justin DeTore: Drums; Simon Tuozzoli: Guitars, Bass, Organ, Percussion, Vocals, Various Instruments;

Additional musicians: Matt Campbell: Piano; David Caldarella: Violin; Jessie May: Cello; Madeline Baldwin: Vocals; The Mother: Vocals

All Music by Simon Tuozzoli
All Lyrics by Phil Swanson
Produced and Engineered by Simon Tuozzoli
Mixed and Mastered by Arthur Rizk

TERSIVEL RELEASE VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE "EMBERS BENEATH THE SPIRIT"

PRESS RELEASE:
Argentina/Sweden's TERSIVEL, a pagan metal band based in Malmö, launches its brand new single, the successor to the single "Satyrs Wine Part II" (2018) and the album "Worship of the Gods" (2017).

The new single is titled "Embers Beneath The Spirit".  It can be experienced via the music video on their YouTube channel (check below these lines).

Tersivel commented on the new single:
"We’ve put our substance into the creation of this new song. Its conception has been intense, not only for the less traveled road to exploration we've been taking the last couple of years, but also for getting punched in the face by reality itself. The amount of music out there is, to put it politely, overwhelming, and often it feels like there's more music than listeners. However, the urge to connect with ourselves seems to be satisfied only by being "happy" or by making serious art, pursuing the former is a waste of life, doing the latter properly is impossible, but at least, there's honesty there. Once 'Embers Beneath The Spirit' was ready, we struggled a lot about releasing it or not. Stillness came, and then, nothing. Where did the pleasure of creation go? - We asked ourselves without saying a word. Probably nobody will ever know. The only thing we hope for is that this song will bring you some comfort, whenever and wherever you are. Thanks for listening. Lian, Franco and Danny".

TERSIVEL is a band of altering genres, perhaps centered around vivid soundscapes, where death/doom and post-metal converge. Paganism and heathenry, along with philosophical themes, are the lyrical spine providing support to the emotions of their music.
