Blackened Melodic Death Metal group ALL LIFE DIES will self-release debut EP Ghost Dust on August 13. Formerly known as FALL and formed by Jessie Santos (Oceans of Slumber, Shattered Sun), ALL LIFE DIES brings a focus to influences that range from early Opeth, Insomnium, and Behemoth.

ALL LIFE DIES consists of Jessie Santos (composer, guitarist, vocalist), David Sanchez, Jr. (drums), Oceans of Slumber bandmate Semir Özerkan (bass, backing vocals), and Joseph Martin (guitars, additional backing vocals).

Ghost Dust is an introduction of what is to come from ALL LIFE DIES. It is a story of damnation, acceptance and longing that must be heard. The EP was mixed and mastered by Mark Lewis.

NAPOLI VIOLENTA was born in the Neapolitan hinterland in 2018. Four old exponents of the Neapolitan metal/HC punk scene whose identity remains unknown and shrouded in silence started collaborating to conjure up the most dangerous kind of extreme music. The intent was immediately to merge Poliziottesco - a subgenre of crime and action films that emerged in Italy in the late 1960s - and grindcore, two worlds, two revolutions that at first sight couldn't be any more distant, but both renowned for being cynical, infamous and violent.

The project therefore takes its name from the film of the same name directed by Umberto Lenzi in 1976, "Napoli Violenta", the second chapter of the "Trilogia Commissario Betti", starring Maurizio Merli and with a soundtrack by Franco Micalizzi. Musically, inspiration is clearly drawn by early Napalm Death, Terrorizer, Repulsion, Carcass, Extreme Noise Terror, Brutal Truth... the logo itself is a clear example of "pezzotto" (fugazi art), which represents a tribute to the genre.

Brilliant Coldness was formed in November 1997 by Oleksandr 'Mor' Umurzakov (bass guitar back then) and Serhii 'Angel' Udovenko (guitars). For a short time the band was named Casket & Morgue, which was changed later to Brilliant Coldness. In the beginning the lyrics were close to insane, full of blasphemy, black sarcasm and brutality. The music was inspired by the most brutal acts of worldwide Death Metal and Grindcore scenes –  Death, Morbid Angel and Cannibal Corpse are few to mention. However, Brilliant Coldness were always striving to create their own extreme music style and make it perfect. I think, in The Ultimate Dream. Plan B: Disposal of humanity we finally reached the goal of long-years painstaking work of the band's founding fathers and the other musicians, which were side by side in this endurance and surviving relay race. The lyrics are more philosophical now but they still mention a magic and otherworld interaction with unknown supernatural nature of being.

Thirteen years since their debut album, Physical And Mental Intensity By The Torture, first snared the attention of their now long term label, Brute! Productions, Nicaragua’s Fleshtorture have unveiled the album of their tempestuous career. SPIRITUAL DECEPTION RELEASE "OXYMORON" EP

Italian death metal quartet SPIRITUAL DECEPTION will release the Oxymoron EP on October 8.

Following EP releases in 2018 (self-titled) and 2019 (Etemenanki), Oxymoron showcases the band's highest level of compositional strength and technical prowess to date. A most apt summation of the sound heard on Oxymoron is introspective death metal infused with technical riffs and obscure atmospheres.

The band released the following statement concerning the finer points of the forthcoming EP:

"Oxymoron is born as a concept about light and darkness’ dualism. It takes inspiration from myths, Talmud, and works of literature. In the heart of the EP we placed a 3-part endeavour, composed by the triptych Captatio Benevolentiae’, ‘Oxymoron,' and ‘Damnatio Memoriae,’ as inspired by John Milton’s Paradise Lost. This mini-concept deals with the relationship between God and Lucifer, their conflict and how each character is depicted by the original author, focusing on the anti-hero concept. 

The track ‘Oxymoron’ is actually the antipodes’ meeting point: God and Lucifer, Light and Darkness, Hero and Anti-Hero.

From a musical point of view the three-part concept can be experienced as a standalone and unique song, composed as a three-part climax, with the track ‘Oxymoron’ as a joining link, both musically and conceptually.

'Hidden in Consciousness' is a reflection about an alternative origin of mankind, inspired by Mesopotamian mythology. 

‘Serpent’s speech’ concerns Lucifer’s thoughts about his and mankind's condition, how they are deeply linked, one with the other, and actually being the same."

BIO:

Spiritual Deception was born in June 2016 from an idea of Mirko Frontini (guitar) and Luca Zanlorenzi (vocal) after the breakup of their previous band Humans Ablaze.

In a short time Gabriele Della Stua (bass) and Manuel Del Giudice (drums) joined the band to complete the line-up.

In 2019 Gabriele parted ways with the band and Riccardo Maccarana joined the line-up as an additional guitarist.

In 2020 Billy Repalam joined the band as a new bass player and Mirko Frontini became the main vocalist of the band, while keeping playing guitar, after Luca’s departure the same year.
