From a power trio to a savage quartet, Undo the Chains sees the band permanently adding lead guitarist Jason Schultz who had only guested on Wraith's previous releases. Jason's contribution should not be taken lightly as it adds a whole new level of musicality and virtuosity typically unseen by this style of early thrash worship. WRAITH hasn't set out to reinvent the style, or introduce some new 'core element, they only live to thrash and do it better than most. So take it for what it is and don't try to over analyze it - this is meant to be loud, fast, and fun, so stop being so damn critical and get into the pit! This is THRASH!

DARK REDEEMER RELEASE "INTO THE DEEP BLACK"

Blasphemous Records is proud to announce DARK REDEEMER’s signing of the contract. They will join the band roster of Music for the Masses Group.

Born out of the ashes of the Bergamo (Italy)-based Death Metal band ALEPH, DARK REDEEMER will make its debut on September 24th 2021 with the full length “INTO THE DEEP BLACK”. An album with 9 old school sick, dark and violent tracks which will satisfy the fans of Obituary, Morbid Angel, Autopsy, Dismember, early Entombed and Celtic Frost.

Thrashing fast-paced NYHC with a layered ambience in the drumming and guitars!

With Perfect World Petrichor finally found a hardcore band that manages to combine classic NYHC with modern elements of the genre whilst maintaining authenticity in their lyrics. From the very first second nasty harsh riffs with a metallic touch are mixed up with heavy mosh parts. This modern day crossover adds to the current sense of Endzeit feelings that are haunting the world. Vocal intensity and musical aggression go hand in hand with intricate instrumental parts that color a broad pallet of influences. The fast and groovy hardcore on this album is the perfect soundtrack for a nightly walk in the bad parts of town. It is as harsh as the streets of NYC portrayed in the cult classic movie “The Warriors” but also adds the sense of positivity the final scene of said movie shows. Perfect world manages to create a modern-day classic with “War Culture”. The streets of this U.S. metropolis still sound as intense and dangerous as they did in the 80’s and 90’s.

The music of In the Company of Serpents is so intense it mimics the gravitational pull of a black hole.

In the Company of Serpents traffic in sonic catharsis. Their music inhabits the strange fringes between sludge metal and sprawling spaghetti western scores, constantly striving for visceral power and raw intensity, contrasted with eerie, spare instrumental passages. Founded in Denver, Colorado in 2011 the band quickly managed to establish a name for themselves. Several releases followed in the years to come and In the Company of Serpents managed to impress the masses on stage as well. Late 2019/early 2020 the band started to work on their album ‘Lux’. It turned out to be one of the most impressive Doom/Sludge Metal albums ever recorded. The band self-released the album in limited edition during 2020 but soon afterwards Petrichor noticed their supreme musical qualities and decided to offer the band a chance to release the album worldwide on CD and LP. ALASE RELEASE NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO: "AJAN KYSYMYS"

PRESS RELEASE:

Alase releases an atmospheric single "Ajan kysymys", after which the band will switch their lyrical language to English. The single will be released together with a music video made by Vesa Ranta's Kaira Films.

"Ajan kysymys" combines Alase's main musical elements such as melancholy, modern atmospheric soundscapes, progressiveness and heavy riffs. The band will continue to work with guest vocalists, however this is singer Juha Tretjakov's third song with Alase.

Guitarist Janne Lunnas describes: "Working with Juha is fun and it involves creativity which clearly enhances the song through the vocal arrangements." The song was recorded with session drummer Ville Aatsinki and it was a very straightforward process.

Janne describes the session with Ville: "Before the studio, Ville and I worked on the drum arrangements remotely and it went really smoothly. After less than two weeks, we went to studio in Tampere, and Ville nailed the song with just a few takes.”

Alase has the composition of the next song ready and its recordings will start soon. There are plans to release a single called "Unburden" in the fall.

DIMMAN RELEASE NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO: "MORBUS"

Finnish modern melodic death metal band Dimman is set to release their debut album ‘Songs and Tales of Grievance’ on July 30th 2021 via Inverse Records. The band’s modern melodeath combines beautiful melodies, heavy compositions and technical musicality into a unique ensemble. In addition to the diverse instrumentation, Dimman’s two vocalists create a distinctive and balanced soundscape.

“Morbus is one of the heaviest songs on the album. The song was originally composed many years ago but it gained its definitive form after some collective arrangement. The song has a catchy main verse, which carries it into multiple different territories. Overall, Morbus describes the sickness that lies within humanity and the lies that surround us everywhere.”

The album addresses all the grievances and insecurities that cause misery to both individuals and communities. The incapability to be able to affect the injustices results in frustration, which can be heard from every song on the album.

Songs and Tales of Grievance’ is mixed and mastered by Santeri Peltomäki (Entropy Mixing) whose powerful production supports the band’s versatile compositions.
