„Fake Salvation“ was composed by Johan de Jager during the COVID pandemic.

The majority of instruments were handled by Johan de Jager, with Nikolay Atanasov (ex-Agent Steel/Prophecy) contributing solos on two tracks. Vocal duties were performed by Justus Meineke, who is completely new to the scene.

„Fake Salvation“ is a nod to the old school death metal pioneers like Cancer, Massacre, Death and Bolt Thrower. The song topics range from atrocities of war and the dark side of the human mind to straight out gore and horror.

If you like your death metal raw and with a warm and crushing sound, then OVERLORD might just be your thing.

Wampyric Ghostlord is a one man project created by Rhiw, a member of Galpedar, Falce (from Reggio Emilia) and Myr.

All the songs were written during the span of 2022 and recorded and produced his first release at the turn of September and October of that year.

This first demo release mixes the classic misanthropic Black Metal style with the powerful dark atmospheres of the Dark Ambient style, from the union of which results about 20 minutes of pure hatred, despair and melancholy.
