Formed in 2018, Trend Kill Ghosts brings together four friends: Diogo Nunes (vocals), Rogério Oliveira (guitar), Leandro Tristane (drums) and Fábio Carito (bass), - replacing bassist Danilo Perez - who bet on power metal/metal melodic, carrying a message through music to inspire people to kill their ghosts and pursue their goals.  The band has as references several power metal strands, with names like Gamma Ray, Helloween, Avantasia, Edguy, Savatage and Stratovarius.

Trend Kill Ghosts recently released the music video for "Dethrone Tyranny", a tribute to the renowned band Gamma Ray. The version features a fast, heavy song with a strong chorus, the release was a taste of what was to come with the release of the second album.

The band is currently warming up for the release of the long-awaited new album.  The recordings are finished and each stage can be seen on social networks, in the 'Studio Report' series, which shows the recording of each instrument with comments from the members.  Follow each episode HERE.  To promote the album, entitled ‘Until The Sun Rise Again’, the first single was released in June, along with the music video, for the track “Phoenix”.  And the next single “Poisoned Soul”, featuring vocalist Marina La Torraca (Phantom Elite, Exit Eden and Avantasia) will give her beautiful voice in this new song, which will be accompanied by a lyric video.

HORNS RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM: "HORNS"

HORNS, the brainchild of acclaimed pianist and composer Simon Fache will release their new self-titled  album HORNS on December 1st 2021.

An artful marriage of jazz and metal, the album is an avant-garde celebration of two powerful genres. Featuring original compositions and covers of SINATRA, FAITH NO MORE, JUDAS PRIEST or KIM WILDE, Horns is a dynamic album.

Dark, dramatic, and theatrical, the album dives straight into the thrilling combination of classical jazz and hard hitting metal. The music explores fascinating amalgamation of major and minor tonalities as numerous styles and sounds collide. From bright brass, to smooth bass and harsh distortion - contrapuntal melodies and explosive textures erupt in all directions. "Typical Teenagers" boasts immense brass instrumentation and an alluring side to HORNS' sound emerges through the smooth bass and soaring clean vocals. All of which comes crashing down with the harsh vocals and deliciously distorted guitar tones. Running through the original tracks is a narrative of young rockers encountering temptation and harsh realities as they seek to reach fame. Interspersed covers, reimagined in HORNS' unique style adds to the overall journey of the album. "Scream Scream Scream" - a glorious cover of "Sing Sing Sing" by LOUIS PRIMA, is an incredible track that really shows how the distinctive genres complement each other.

HORNS leaves no musical ingredient off limits. Beautifully crafted harmonies flow throughout the instrumentation and vocal parts, while heavy melodic elements and shredding leads throw a thunderous energy into the mix. Delving into the fantastical chaos of Horns is an experience not be missed.

RE-ARMED RELEASE NEW TRACK AND VIDEO "AS THE STARS ALIGN"

Finland's melodic death metallers Re-Armed has announced a EP celebrating its 20th anniversary, titled “XX”. The EP will contain five other songs in addition to today’s first single/music video release “As the Stars Align”. The EP will be released digitally via Inverse Records and it drops out on 27 January 2022.

The band comments on the new single, EP and on the band’s 20th anniversary:

‘The single’s soundscape is filled with lots of sweet melodies, while still maintaining raw energy brought by impulsive drums and highlighted growl vocals. Song lyrics continue the theme explored in the previous album; wonders of the universe and life's uniqueness… And what about the anniversary and upcoming EP release. Well, during the 20 years, the band has seen better and worse, but almighty Finnish “sisu”, aka willpower has pushed us through these years and keeps us still on the move. We want to thank everyone who has been involved in this band somehow at some point of this adventure - meaning each and everyone who brought something to the table at that point of trip. Anyhow, the best thing about the past is that it shows us what not to bring into the future - which is clearly visible and heard in the great outcome today. On the upcoming EP new winds are blowing and there will be some, let’s say “adjusted” echoes from the past.’
