MIZMOR mastermind A.L.N. describes the new album "Prosaic" in his own words: "The idea behind “Prosaic” was to make an intentionally less conceptual, more slice-of-life record. I wanted to make an album that was less precious and obsessed-over, more honest and real; less grandiose and more human. I found it an interesting challenge to find the line between ‘you can do better’ and ‘you’re beating a dead horse.’ I tried to make my process more efficient and even fun at times. I simply wanted to share, but if that meant exacting all-out perfectionism, I wasn’t going to make a record. Right now I’m interested in making less self-indulgent music. The themes are the absurdity/futility/purpose/meaning of work, mindfulness/consciousness/living in the present moment/shedding illusions, depression/acceptance/contentment. This is the first MIZMOR album without any content relating to god/atheism. You also won’t hear any shrieks."

Named after the demotape of their old band, former Torpedo-members Danny Keck and Flo Fait founded Mechanic Tyrants during the Lockdown in 2021. Straight old-school Speed Metal meets some progressive songwriting and a creative take on an old classic by Kansas. The EP was self-produced and self-released on their own label Cerveza Blanca Records and the vinyl edition will be released in collaboration with Zann’s Records.

"SOVEREIGN" is a compilation of nine tracks with each track having its own flavor and feel, crafted with sheer passion, love and respect for the music they believe in. The album has been in works since the last two years and has finally come to life. They have aimed to capture the magic of an aggressive yet thoughtful and precise approach to thrash metal song writing along with good production and hard hitting lyrical themes, exploring topics such as survival of the fittest, mass extinction, genocide, revenge, natural selection, sorrow and hope.

To quote vocalist and guitar player Rishav Bhattacharya on the album and what to expect -

“Whoever dives into “SOVEREIGN” can expect to come out of it with a long lasting impression. We have worked immensely hard on this and have tried to create an interesting listening experience for the audience. Each track is a monster in itself and we had a ‘All Killer, No Filler’ policy in mind when writing the material.
