AGAINST I RELEASE "ANTI LIFE"

PRESS RELEASE:

Band: AGAINST I

Album: Anti Life

Release Date: March 13, 2026

Country: Sweden

Genre: Blackened Death Metal

"Anti Life" marks the third and darkest of all the albums that Against I has made.

Against I was founded in 2022 by Fredrik Keith Croona, known as vocalist and founder of Cynical Existence and ex-vocalist of Menschdefekt.

Together with Mathias Back (guitars) and Anders Ström (drums), they fuse elements of metal with hints of electronic parts into a cacophony of aggression and melodies.

In 2023, they released their debut album Carnival of Excess on Advoxya Records.

2024 saw the release of the EPs Perfect Smile and the follow-up Destruction Lullaby, which took the band in an entirely new direction. Later in 2024, the band dropped their second full-length album Songs for the Dying.

RESUMPTION RELEASE NEW SINGLE: "SOME THINGS ARE TOO BROKEN"

PRESS RELEASE:

Death doom metal Resumption has released a new track, "Some Things Are Too Broken".  Resumption comes from the mind of Wilhelm Lindh (The Gardnerz, ex:Tristitia, ex: Pandemonium, ex: Allamedah).

Resumption bridges the gap between the crushing groove of Bolt Thrower, Broken Hope, Pyrexia, Acheron (US) and the suffocating slow atmosphere of Funeral (Nor).

The second single is a definitive statement on the necessity of walking away. It explores the moment you realize certain situations or people are simply beyond repair and outside of your control. Ultimately, it’s a song about releasing the burden of trying to fix the 'unfixable' and finally choosing to prioritize your own emotional well-being."

Lyrically Resumption tackles the harrowing realities of mental health and anti-religious sentiment.

Wilhelm Lindh - all instruments and “vocals”

A Swedish native that has been living in Portugal for many years.

After years of playing in blues bands, Wilhelm felt it was time for another dive into the cesspool of dirty Death Doom Metal.

The outcome is a 9 track album called “The Respite” set to be released digitally on the 17th of April.

Track list:

1.Self Reliance

2.Don't Come

3.Worship

4.Leave It Alone

5.The Respite - Instrumental
