In these difficult Covid-19 times, German thrash metal heroes TANKARD are hell-bent on restoring a bit of normality. They have announced a very special concert experience for their fans. The upcoming show will take place on Saturday, October 24th, at the Groove Bar & Lounge in Cologne (Germany), and will also be filmed by six cameras and streamed live for any fans who can't attend in person.

Tickets for the TANKARD show are strictly limited. Only 80 tickets will be available to ensure all health and safety regulations and rules can be observed. TOKYO BLADE RELEASE "DARK REVOLUTION"

 

Classic British heavy metal band TOKYO BLADE will release their new album "Dark Revolution" on August 26th. The new album will be released through Rubicon Music and is the succesor to the "Unbroken" album released in 2018. TOKYO BLADE released their first two (and classic albums) "Tokyo Blade" and "Night of the Blade" in 1983 and 1984 respectively and they have developed a really solid career with ten albums and many EPs and compilations. NECROPHAGIA RE-RELEASE "SEASON OF THE DEAD"

 

Death metal masters NECROPHAGIA will see their debut album "Season of the Dead" re-released on August 24th. The album, originally released in 1987, is a classic of death metal history and will be reissued on cassette in a very limited edition of 100 copies through Dismal Fate Records. NECROPHAGIA broke up for the first time in 1987 and remained inactive for more than ten years until 1998 when Phil Anselmo (Pantera) approached Killjoy with some riffs. He subsequently joined the band on guitar and wrote all the songs for the album "Holocausto de la Morte". More info on:

Polish black death metal masters BEHEMOTH have uploaded to their YouTube chennel a trailer for a live event that will take place on September 5th. POSSESSION RELEASE "DISENTOMBED MANIFESTATIONS"

 

Kansas death metal band POSSESSION will see a compilation, "Disentombed" Manifestations", released on August 26th. The compilation features tracks from the band´s releases from 1993 to 1997, including the whole "Eternally Haunt" album and the "Scourge & Fire" and "The Unnameable Suffering" EPs. It also includes tracks from the band´s unreleased 1995 demo. The compilation will be released in 2 CDs through Xtreem Music. More info on:
