In August 1989, brazilian black thrash death masters SARCOFAGO, released one of their classic recordings: the "Rotting" EP. Released through Cogumelo Records, a label that at the time featured bands like SEPULTURA, HOLOCAUSTO and RATOS DE PORAO, among others. The EP features a more technical approach than their album "I.N.R.I" from 1987 and features drummer M. Joker that replaced D.D. Crazy. The album was licensed in Europe by Music for Nations and was censored because of the cover art. The compositions here are along, with four of the compositions being over six minutes long. The line-up that recorded the EP was: Wagner Antichrist on guitars and vocals; Gerald Incubus on bass and guitars; M. Joker on drums. The tracklist is: 1. The Lust; 2. Alcoholic Coma; 3. Tracy; 4. French death thrash metal masters MERCYLESS will release their new album "The Mother of All Plagues" on August 21st. The new album is the successor to their "Pathetic Divinity" from 2016 and the compilation "Unholy Chapters (The Mercyless Years)" from 2017. The band also released a split with AVULSED in 2017 and a live album "Live in Memory of Agrazabeth" the same year. "The Mother of All Plagues" was recorded, mixed and mastered at at Vamacara Studio, France. There is also a bonus CD mixed at Psykron Studio, Verchain-Maugré, France, and mastered at Vamacara Studio, France. The album will be released on CD and different vinyl formats through XenoKorp label.
Swedish melodic groove metal band THE UNGUIDED has just released a video for the track "Crown Prince Syndrome". The tune is "A Day For Redemption" and is part of the album that will be released on Octobre 23rd through AFM Records. VESSEL OF LIGHT, the metal band formed by Nathan Opposition from Cleveland's Ancient VVisdom and riff master Dan Lorenzo (founding member of both the powerful thrash / power metal masters HADES and NON-FICTION, will release their new album "Last Ride" on October. The band has release up to now two albums: "Woodshed" in 2018, "Thy Serpent Rise" in 2019 and also the "Vessel of Light" EP in 2017. Since the second album, the band features former Overkill drummer Ron Lipnicki (also playing in the almighty WHIPLASH) and former HADES bassist Jimmy Schulman who played in the band´s classics "It At First You Don´t Succeed..."and "Resisting Success". Guitarist Dan Lorenzo has also released recently a documentary called "It´s All About the Riff" with interviews about his career and showing plenty of his guitar skills. Symphonic deathcore band SHADOW OF INTENT has released a video for the track "Gravesinger". The tune is part of the band´s latest release "Melancholy" from 2019. Polish depressive black metal band FADHEIT are streaming their debut album "Inhaling the Trauma" on their Bandcamp site (check below). "Inhaling the Trauma" is FADHEIT´s second release and the successor of their "Stilleben" EP from 2018. British beatdown metal band CARBINE has released a video for the track "Desensitised". The tune is the band´s new single that was released on August 15th. "Desensitised" is the first release since the band´s previous recording, "Undefeated" from 2019.
