There, where the old comes to an end, something new is born
and there, where the new flourishes, the old still lives on.
“Kryvoda”, because this is how we decided to name our debut album, is an attempt to unite two worlds – the one that no longer physically exists, yet reappears like a ghost in our collective cultural consciousness rooted back in pre-Christian times, and a new modern one, still strongly bound with the past via the generation of our grandparents and traditional folk beliefs.
This album serves interconnection not only musically, where heavy and aggressive metal tunes interweave with folk motifs and Instrumentation, but also in the symbolic and semantic plane.
We invite you to take a journey across time, a journey across beliefs,
a journey between the old and the new.
