AITHEER is a progressive metal/rock outfit formed in 2017 in Vantaa, Finland. AITHEER is Niko Löfman's solo project, but has visiting session musicians as recording and live performers.
The drive to write music upwells from a desire for expression, from need to structure the outer and inner world, and from a will to learn about the harmonic elements through trial.
It is a way to rediscover deeper self by following musical intuition.
It is a way of processing phenomena, experiences and the reasons that act behind them through art.
AITHEER's first Ep ''Sleeper'' was released through Distrokid service on 27th of January in 2020 in Google play, Itunes, Spotify and Youtube.
AITHEER's plan for the near future is to head to a studio in the fall of 2020 for a four song Ep, and aims to find a record company to release their Sleeper Ep in a physical version, as well as the upcoming Ep. AITHEER is achingly heading towards the live performances to represent the songs from ''Sleeper'' as well as some of the new unreleased material.
