'The soundtrack to being pulled under the sea. You are surrounded by this grandiose environment, while by the same accord, feel heavier and heavier pressure as you go deeper and deeper. The sea, much like Tattva’s “Abysmes” is both a beautiful and frightening experience that attacks every palette of the emotional spectrum as we understand.
The melody weaves itself in-between the drums with choreographed ease and wonder. Yet, this is no mere experience of the beautiful within black metal. As soon as the vocals begin cutting itself above the ecstasy of the songwriting, the album applies that ocean like pressure, with its more visceral moments. What a unique dance that gets created in the crevices of where we fear to go. Where foregone conclusions exist only within the nuanced monsters Tattva created from the furthest settlements of the sea. One that exists between the almost movie score feel of the album and the destructive nature of the actors portraying. Listen, allow yourself to be consumed by an unknown sea, from where this album was created.'
