The group continued to release successful albums with Howard Jones, including "As Daylight Dies" (2006), which featured a cover of "Holy Diver" (Dio), and "Killswitch Engage" (2009), this around the time that band performed in Brazil for the first time.

THE 69 EYES: When the sun sets and the moon rises, Finnish ambassadors of glam gothic rock, The 69 Eyes, proudly don their sunglasses, leather jackets and black eyeliner to blend into the night. Founded in the hazy, twilight bars of Helsinki over 30 years ago, the band currently promotes "Death of Darkness". The work highlighted, in addition to "Drive" and "Death of Darkness", the track "California", which follows the homages to Los Angeles' Sunset Strip.

With an eclectic taste for morbidity, glamour, sex and the supernatural, these nocturnal beasts embody both the hazy essence of Scandinavian gothic rock and the lustful decadence of Sunset Strip glam. It's chic, it's sexy, it's provocative, it's dramatic...

Thus, the so-called "Helsinki vampires" will prove why they are always in prominent positions in the 2024 edition of Summer Breeze Open Air Brasil. Jyrki 69 (vocals), Bazie and Timo-Timo (guitars), Archzie (bass) and Jussi 69 (drums) will present the best of their style, which mixes gothic, glam, hard, post-punk and pop and has names like The Sisters Of Mercy, Iggy Pop, Billy Idol, David Bowie, Elvis Presley, Hanoi Rocks, Danzig and Johnny Cash among the references.
