BEAUTY IN THE SUFFERING POSTS LYRICS VIDEO FOR NEW SONG

Electronic metal band Beauty in the Suffering has released a lyric video for the new track 'Reveille (The Zombie Charge)'. The band is a project of producer Dietrich Thrall. This video complements the  previous single and video 'The Crazies (The Zombie Song)'. The new tune features Chris Emery of American Head Charge on drums.

BLOOD CEREMONY RELEASES NEW SINGLE

Psychedelic doom metal band Blood Ceremony have released a single entitled "Let it come down". This is the first Blood Ceremony recording since previous year album "The Eldritch Dark". The single also feature an Iron Claw cover of the tune "Loving You". The vinyl edition of the single comes in many different colors.

JUDAS PRIEST REVEALS NEW TRACK "REDEEMER OF SOULS"

Metal gods Judas Priest have released today a new track, coming directly from their new album that will be released on July. The tune is called "Redeemer of Souls" and is the title track of the new album. "Redeemer of Souls" will be the first studio album to feature guitarist Richie Faulkner who replaced original axeman K.K. Downing. The album will contain 13 tunes. Doom band Sabbath Assembly have released a video, entitled "Lucifer". The track comes from the band`s thrd album "Quaternity". The album was released through Svart Records. The band released a statement: "The "Lucifer" hymn was transmitted directly from a member of the '70s spiritual-psycho religious cult The Process Church Of The Final Judgment. This member, Anthony D’Andrea, demoed the hymn for the band via telephone from Boston, MA. A snippet of this recording can be heard at the top of the track, followed by a gorgeous interpretation sung by Daron Beck of Pinkish Black".

Amebix guitarist, Stig C. Miller, has posted a new solo track on his YouTube site. The track is entitled "I Go Dark" and was recorded at Stig´s home studio. "I Go Dark" is the first studio recording by Stig since Amebix´s "Sonic Mass" album that was released on 2011. "I Go Dark" is part of a solo EP that Stig will be releasing during 2014.

ZEPHANIAH REVEALS NEW ALBUM COVER

Power metal band Zephaniah have revealed the cover art of their new album, entitled "Reforged". The cover art was created by illustrator artist Kip Ayers. "Reforged" is the follow-up to the band´s 2008 album "Stories from the book of metal" and also the comeback after four years of inactivity.

Hungarian power metal band Ad astra have released a video for their tune "Paycheck", This tune is the opwining track of the band`s 2012 "Open Wide" album. The band is writing new tracks for a new album that will be released during 2014.

EXCEL TO RE-RELEASE "SPLIT IMAGE"

Reunited thrashers Excel are re-releasing theur debut album "Split Image" with plenty of bonus tracks. The album was originally produced by Randy Burns (Kreator, Death, Possessed and many more). Now the band will reissue the classic album through Southern Lord Records. The reissue will contain several demos, such as the "Sonic Decapitation" and "Refuse to Quit" ones and alternative cover art. There is also a vinyl version of the album.

THe band has issued the following statement "The reason for changing to an EP release this summer instead of our debut album is that we have written a lot of songs and we didn’t want to scrap anything. These songs in particular didn’t quite fit with the other 11 songs that have made the record, but they all seem to work together and follow a theme we really liked. It has become clearer now that we have some great opportunities in store for the development of our album which we hope to explore during the summer, allowing for autumn/winter release".

Swedish heavy metal band Wolf has announced the released of their seventh album, entitled "Devil Seed". The album was recprded at Fascination Street Studios by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Kreator, among others). The album will be released through Century Media Records on August 25th in Europe and September 2nd in North America.

Experimental band Horseback have filmed a video for their tune 'Inheritance (The Changeling)'. The track comes from the band`s latest album "Half Blood". The album was released through Relapse Records. The band has also released an album through Three Lobed Recordings, entitled "Piedmont Apocrypha". The video was filmed by Daniel Davison during the 2013 demolition of Edison High School in Philadelphia, PA.

Relapse Records is reissuing Death`s classic 1988  album "Leprosy" with many surprises. THe reissue will be released between April 25th and April 29th and the album was remastered by Alan Douches (Mastodon, Nile). The 2 CD issue contains over 50 minutes of previously unreleased demos and rehearsals. There is also a 3 CD deluxe version that includes also over 40 minutes of live material. Swedish female heavy metal band Crucified Barbara have released a new track entitled "To Kill A Man". The track is a preview of their new album that will be released on August 20th.
