On April 23, Dead Center Productions will release debut album of German Death Metal band Death Chamber - "Experiments in Warfare". And today, the 2nd Single "The Inevitable" released on all digital platforms!
Death Chamber is a German Death Metal band from Munich. It was brought to life by guitarist Tim in August 2018. In addition to his Black Metal band Chaedrist he wanted to experiment and devote himself more to the sound of Death Metal. Originally intending to be just a small studio project, it soon became much bigger...
In October 2018, Tim started writing material for Death Chamber's debut. Having written all the music, he played and programmed every instrument involved. It was fast, aggressive and powerful, inspired by bands like Vomitory, Benediction, Nile, Divine Heresy & Cut Up. Double bass, blast beats, fast guitar picking and aggressively shouted vocals are a central element of the band's music. At first, three songs were planned to be recorded with different vocalists. “Murder Beyond Death”, “Leave a Path of Cinder” & “Final Era” were recorded and uploaded to various online platforms, and the multitude of positive feedback on these songs displayed the need for more material. With that, Tim decided to launch Death Chamber as a band and started the writing process for the debut EP: “Experiments in Warfare”.
Vocalist Pat joined the band in late 2019 as a full-time member. He arranged the vocals for “Final Era” and met the sound expectations of Tim. Combining both a proper range, and an aggressive vocal sound, he was the perfect fit for Death Chamber. Pat is also the vocalist in the Melodic Death Metal outfit The Course is Black and did various guest appearances for other bands. As a lyrical theme he chose “war” as an aggressive root but combined it with problems that come with modern society and result in mental distress. “Experiments in Warfare” presents this lyrical concept and is covered throughout the EP.
Apart from the screams and growls, Pat was also responsible for the EP's front cover design, in which he created a strong visual connection to the lyrical context. The back cover design and photography was realized by Immanuel from the likewise Munich-based extreme metal band Chokehold Policy, who will support the band on bass during live performances.
The band is planning to play shows as soon as possible to bring their music to the masses. Writing for the next record will also start soon.
Following up their last single "The Whistleblower," Renegade Angel puts forth their third release: the more deliberate, plaintive "Forevermore." Written by Jani Pöysä, this song comes at you with a familiar metal ballad feel, paying homage to nostalgic chord progressions that pull at the heartstrings with their sense of familiarity. "You may hear influences of such classics like Guns N' Roses ' "Don't Cry" and Stratovarius ' beautifully epic "Forever." While there are moments that show Renegade Angels' influences, the band absolutely brings their own musicianship to "Forevermore."
This time, though, instead of focusing on more technical wizardry (the ripping guitar and amazing bass solos in the band's previous release), "Forevermore" shifts the focus toward building atmosphere and weaving hauntingly beautiful melodies. Pöysä and the band build on the intensity of the arrangement itself to create a true-to-form heavy metal ballad.
The studio line-up for "Forevermore" features Alejandro Fernandez on vocals, guitar, and synth. Amadei Sarsanski handles the bass guitar. And Ignacio Salinardi Bessi plays drums. Amadei's sense of rhythm drives the movement of the track, and Pöysä lets the melodies and lyrics take the starring role in place of mind-blowing soloists.
A video for the song is complete and will hit Renegade Angel's YouTube Channel when the single is released is released worldwide on all major streaming services. The song will be out April, 23 2021.

Mara always create as a unit; endless hours of jamming are now utilized in their debut album “Djävulstoner” which is set to be released in the spring of 2021. The goal is to deliver hard hitting riffs, innovative song structures and a “whatever the fuck we want” attitude to modern music.

Gate Doors is a metal band born back in 2010 formed by classmates who decided to put their instruments to make what they always loved to do: Music. In their path to achieve their goals, Gate Doors won several band contests as were TeenWolfest 2013, Independance U18 Battle of the Bands 2013. On the following year 2014, the band recorded they first record “Leave My Life” which achieved a Number 1 on Itunes Top Sells on the day of its releasing, and stayed 4 days as Number 1 on Itunes in Rock category.In this time, Gate Doors started stomping different stages around Spain, but the chance to make a national tour came with the releasing of the 2nd LP “Faster Than Ever”, that traveled all around the country on the “Faster Than Ever Tour 2019”, visiting cities like Barcelona, Vigo, Bilbao, Ibiza… Achieving some good critics by the crowd and espectators. On the same year, they started composing what will be their 3rd and most ambicious work. The recording of their new job was shared in effort and places, so it was recorded in his majority in Academy of Contemporary Music in London, UK, by Emilio Maestre Rico and Raúl López Vázquez, and mixed and mastered in Estudio Uno, in Madrid by Raúl López Vázquez and Javier Giralte, former Gate Doors member and lead guitarist of the band.
By the end of 2019, Gate Doors released 3 singles of their new work called “All Our Sins”, wich were Parabellvm, Countervail Me, I´m Fine (shot in London), and All Our Sins, under discographic seal Worm Hole Death, and comunication by Lengua Armada Lenguaje Constructivo, ran by Nano Ruiz. All Our Sins was released digitally on 7th March 2020, with a releasing show booked by Hache Bookings, the booking agency of the band, that´ll be remembered for a long time for being one of the last metal shows before covid19 total lockdown, and the energy and display of power that Gate Doors showed on the stage.
ASTHAROTH started in 1988 in Poland as a technical thrash band. They moved to Bay Area in 1990 only to see the scene deteriorating there. Fast forward to 2020: ASTHAROTH is back as a one-man project with the music darker and more progressive than before.
2021: "Between Death and Rebirth" is the second single this year.
Musically the new material is upbeat and aggressive, while lyrically dealing with the existential issues.

Mobchild was formed in the fall of 1993 after the founder Mike Kearns released his solo project “In Calm Before The Storm…”. Fall of 1993 the band was approached to record a song for an European compilation “NEMC:1”. The band started to record “Ships at Sea” for the compilation when bassist George Allen left the group. The band recruited Trent Reznor's cousin Dave Brown to record the bass track and join the band.
1997 the band was signed for a full release “Gothic Opera” by the label Azra International. The band fell apart though after the guitarist was forced to move to Ohio.
Mobchild reunited in 2017 and now their 6-song EP, “The Dark Chronicles” is out on CD! Consisting of newly written songs, it’s a piece of strong heavy metal with charismatic vocals.
Kill Frenzy is made up of three friends from different musical backgrounds, coming together to form this raw, energized, fast-paced thrash metal band. The name is inspired by the original Grand Theft Auto video games and although the members are down to earth, the music screams anger, violence and hatred. Reminding you of old school metal, that just doesn’t seem to be around anymore. The band hails from the gutters of the Mother City, Cape Town, South Africa. Galician mystical black death sorcerers Suspiral were formed in 2014 by A.T. (Sheidim, Black Earth, Krossfyre) and M.S. (Arkaik Excruciation, Sudaria, Scythe), after the duo had envisioned a black/death entity of otherworldly and alien traits dominated by two opposite but coexisting souls: on one side the raw and unforgiving darkness and aggression of bands like Thou Shalt Suffer, Necrovore, early Emperor and Satyricon, Katharsis, Sadistik Exekution, Beherit, Samael, along with the repetitive, vorticose and abstract patterns of more ritualistic, trance inducing, and meditative entities like Ash Ra Tempel and other Kraut and drone bands on the other. The improbable sonic design was meticulously planned and executed by the duo and that same year their debut EP Dawn of Kezef saw the light spawned in a wake of ruinous black/death destruction set against a chasm of disorienting and sensorially devastating psychedelic patterns and repetitions. The rawer sound of this debut EP soon evolved into what became their mind-alterating debut album Delve into the Mysteries of Transcendence, released in 2016 on famed Italian extreme metal label I Voidhanger Records. While maintaining its devastating black/death metal assault, Delve into the Mysteries of Transcendence, was an album cloaked in otherworldly and enveloping atmospheres and drenched in mystery and alien psychedelic mysticism, conceptually rooted in experiences with psychoactive drugs as a means of transcendence, and more specifically with experiences obtained under the influence of DMT. In comparison to the band's self-titled EP, In Absence still consists of the Melo/Prog/Death Thrash Metal elements, but with a more "mature" approach. The overall musicianship within the band improved, as well as the overall songwriting capabilities. In Absence features the same aggression as the self-titled EP, but brings an intense atmosphere with extreme tempos, and brisk riffs. This release heavily carries on the epic melodic sections heard previously, and even going further with more complex song structuring and longer tracks. Aside from the aggressive side of things, hints of experimentation can be heard, showing slower sections, and clean parts as well.

The thought of Cathartic Demise came into fruition on October 8, 2017, after high school friends Angus Pike (drums) and Bennett Smith (guitar/vocals) jammed for the first time, and immediately decided to form a group. Bennett had demos previously prepared, (two of the EP songs) and the week after Aaron Tanner would join the lineup, following a few weeks with Taylor Wroblewski (guitar) quickly completing the quartet. The four rehearsed immensely over a eight-month period landing their first show September 16, 2018. In December of 2018, the band entered into HM Studio, to record the self titled three-track EP Cathartic Demise, released April 26, 2019. For the rest of the year, the band played around Ontario, and in January 2020, Cathartic Demise would begin the recording sessions of In Absence.
Ripping its way into these troubled times comes the brand new, full length album from infamous Russian slam squad, Traumatomy. It may have been six years since they last released an album, the pummelling brute force of Monolith Of Absolute Suffering, but as soon as Extirpation Paradigms begins to deliver its payload of power it’s as if they’ve never been away. You want absolute bestial brutality? You’ve got it!
Since their first EP release, Transformation Into A Putrid Mass, back in 2013, Traumatomy have been renowned for vomiting up some of the sickest slams around – and now they’re back with their heaviest album yet. Extirpation Paradigms is an exercise in barbarous, nihilistic, death metal destruction. Nautical folk metallers Storm Seeker present their new album 'Guns Don’t Cry' via NoCut Entertainment, in addition to unveiling several videos in a row. The latest is 'Shoot This Ship Down', following the unveiling of both a lyrics video and official video featuring Mr. Hurley & Die Pulveraffen for their latest single 'Deathwatch Beetle Party'.
The Düsseldorf pirates have also released the sea shanty 'Wellerman' on Spotify and Apple Music after a real boom via TikTok, where the song has inspired millions. Apparently this 19th-century sailor's song speaks to many in pandemic times. Storm Seeker's 'Sea Shanty Folk Version' was even briefly featured on NBC news regarding the revival of sea shanties. As a result, they've also just shared a new 'Randy Dandy Oh Sea Shanty Session'.
Music adventurers can expect the full explosion of nautical chants with a vintage sailor look and a new approach to their trademark folk metal sound. Storm Seeker's 2016 debut 'Pirate Scum' EP was followed by steady European gigs amd major festivals. The debut album 'Beneath in the Cold' LP (May 2019), amped things up, bringing them a roaring year, touring with Haggefugg and Vogelfrey and their spring 2020 signing with NoCut Entertainment. Then, despite closed ports all over the world, they faced the storm together, playing shows with MONO INC. all over Germany.
The journey of the small Storm Seeker ship, with its five-member crew, has led them from small harbours, with their unique mix of classic metal ensemble and melodic traditional instruments, to chart completely unknown waters in Germany and Europe.
On March 19, 'Guns Don't Cry' releases in North America on physical media and is already available digitally worldwide and physically in Europe. It has been a long, torturous road for the veterans of Atlanta death metal band MALFORMITY. Formed initially in 1991, when their own genre was still in its infancy, they created only a handful of demo recordings before calling it quits four years later. A long-overdue reformation happened in 2014, after which the band produced a couple of EPs and honed their craft.
At long last, 30 years after the band's initial formation, MALFORMITY have produced a monstrous debut album, complete with the suitably forbidding title of Monumental Ruin. Literally decades in the making, this beast shows the band at their sharpest and most evolved, mixing American and European death metal styles with a sure hand. Incorporating grind and doom influences where appropriate, Monumental Ruin is every inch the ancient, towering structure depicted on its atmospheric cover art. This is death metal old in spirit as well as in the age of the band that made it, but with a clear, current-day production and youthful vigor and brutality that keeps pace with any act you might name.

Recorded over two months last summer and armed with the crispiest production they’ve ever had, their ninth full-length is titled ‘Exitivm’ for a reason. The two brothers Gabriel (guitar) and Lucas (drums) Alves, have been on the road as Behind The Horror for a long time and we too had the honor of presenting this up-and-coming formation of metal from New Jersey in the United States several times. In fact, their mix of styles between progressive and thrash metal has so much potential and has always been able to convince us. Now drummer Lucas Alves gets in touch and gives an insight with his new drumcam video for 'Wrath' from their first EP " ...And The Horror Begins ". “Crime of Passion" is inspired by John Fowles’s novel “The Collector”. It tells a coherent story which started as an unhealthy obsession and stalking and resulted in murder, both from the side of the murderer and his victim.

Comprised of eleven tracks, Violence Unimagined is state of the art death metal played with passion and breathless precision, making for another flawless addition to what is inarguably one of the premier catalogues the genre has thrown up. "It really follows the path we've been going down for a few years now," states bassist and founding member Alex Webster. "I think we approach the writing in a similar way most every time: each of us try to write the heaviest, most memorable songs we can. We want each song to have its own identifiable character. Showing my age, I like to say you can 'drop the needle' on any point of one of our albums and quickly tell which song you're listening to."
While they continue to do what they do with aplomb, the one substantial change to Cannibal Corpse is the addition of guitarist Erik Rutan to their ranks, joining Webster, founding drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz, guitarist Rob Barrett and vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher. Known for his roles in Morbid Angel, Ripping Corpse and most notably fronting the mighty Hate Eternal, Rutan has long established himself as one of the most dynamic forces in contemporary death metal. Simultaneously, he has built up a reputation as one of the most in demand producers in metal, having previously produced four Cannibal Corpse albums (in addition to Violence Unimagined), alongside the likes of Goatwhore, Soilent Green and Belphegor. Filling in live on guitar since 2019, in 2020 he became a full member, contributing to the writing process. "I think the most noticeable difference on this record will be the addition of Erik to the band. He wrote three full songs for the record, music and lyrics, and his song writing and guitar playing have added something new, and I think his musical style integrated into ours very well," Webster enthuses. This is not all that he brings to the band. "He's a great friend of ours, so on a personal level, he's been a perfect fit, as we knew he would be. Beyond that, he's one of the hardest working people I know, in music or otherwise, and he maintains a high energy, positive demeanor in challenging situations where other people might go in a negative direction. This energy and great attitude rubs off on the rest of us as well. That's really a perfect situation to have when you add someone to a band, or any kind of team: someone who's great at what they do, and also inspires the people around them."
Already well known for the level of extreme technicality they bring to every record, on Violence Unimagined, Cannibal Corpse have further upped their game, particularly in Mazurkiewicz's drumming. "I think we all pushed ourselves a bit technically on this one, with Paul probably pushing the hardest. This album is probably the most drum-intense album we've done yet. Part of that could be a result of Erik joining the band. His song writing style often features technically challenging drumming, probably owing to his years of experience in high speed death metal." And with typically dark and warped lyrical content, Mazurkiewicz came up with the fitting title of the record, "summing up what the band is about in every facet, and taking violence to another level of extremity."

Although the term modern death metal hasn't become a "dirty word" per se, oftentimes the connotation implies something that imitates solely, while often not offering much of an experience that is solely their own. Like their fellow labelmates Rising Nemesis Records labelmates Pestilent Reign, Betrayal adeptly draws from a mix of old-school death metal, thrashy death metal, technical and progressive death metal, and a bit of blackened death metal to create some seriously awesome and well-written death metal. The end product is something that's solely Betrayal's, and it's a damn good take on death metal that you'll certainly want to hear.

About The Band
Founded in Aschaffenburg in 2005, BETRAYAL soon released 'Of Lust And Loss' in 2007, an EP that stirred up the local underground, sold out on the day of release and showed the potential of the young band around drummer Manuel Caccamese.
After several line-up changes, BETRAYAL found themselves together again in 2014. With Alex Burkl on rhythm guitar/vocals and Philipp Gherig on bass, a foundation was finally laid to build a golden future on. They quickly drew attention to themselves again with a demo in 2015.
In 2016, eleven years after the band was founded, BETRAYAL released their first album 'Infinite Circles' on Transcending Records. They were able to gain many new fans and received nothing but great reviews. About 200k Streams on Spotify can confirm that.
With their new addition Bastian Kraus on Lead Guitar in January 2019, they not only got fresh blood but also musical quality and creativity on board.
On numerous festivals or as touring support act for bands such as Belphegor, Suffocation, Hate, Cannibal Corpse, Thy Art is Murder, Asphyx or Gruesome, they shared the stage with a lot of notable bands and were able to expand their fanbase successfully.
ZGARD is truly a remarkable phenomenon in the Ukrainian metal scene. Geographically located far from Ukraine’s music centres, like Kharkov and Kiev, Yaromisl managed to create his own unique style. Is it the nature of the Carpathians, or residence near the mountain Bogit, where a Zbruch Idol (9th-century Svetovid sculpture and one of very few monuments of pre-Christian Slavic beliefs) was located, which so influenced Yaromisl to create the music of ZGARD?
Either way, the result speaks for itself!
In 2019 Yaromisl finished the recording of his seventh studio album, "Place of Power“. ZGARD created eight fascinating epic pagan black metal songs. With “Place of Power” the band has reached the next level in their band history and the album is set to be released on May 21st via Schwarzdorn Production.
Belgian Melodic Death Metal band Fragmentum set April 16, 2021 as international release date for their second full-length album "Masters Of Perplexity".
FRAGMENTUM were founded in 2015 and became well known as a Belgian diverging metal band.
The alliance of musical creativity resulted in the adamant but sincere EP D!VERGE. Working as hell on new songs and enforcing the band with new members for live playing resulted in their debut album PUGNACITY. This full album was released worldwide shortly after touring with Children of Bodom in US and has been received with rave response and reviews from the metal industry and fans. Subsequently Fragmentum shared the stage with Soulfly on their European tour and played more venues with major bands like Annihilator.
The second full album MASTERS OF PERPLEXITY containing blasting diverging Maya theme metal songs is ready to be released upon all metal-heads. No fillers, only killers! Recording, mixing and mastering have been done in their own studio Z-Underground.

Sparrow was recorded over the lockdown period, produced, mixed and mastered by vocalist/guitarist Andy Clarke. The song is a haunting tale of isolation, misery, and the emotional outcome of living a pointless life; amplified by the fact so many 'spectate' a chain of events, without offering support. Additionally the single features a surprising B-Side cover; a version of Bjork's "Play Dead."
The artwork was created by Irish artist Kelvin Doran from Serpent Tusk; a fantastic piece, uniquely designed for The Crawling, inspired by the lyrics and demo tracks.
Vocalist / guitarist Andy Clarke commented;
“I became so frustrated over the last year; i felt like our whole existence had come to an end; the endless cycle of nothingness was overwhelming. We began writing Sparrow, a tale of not fitting in and the purposeless of being, early 2020; all of a sudden it became clear we had to release it. We got work, and recorded our parts individually, It was a challenging process, but it worked. The Bjork cover was decided by drummer Gary; the lyrics and vibe fitted perfectly, and it was an enjoyable experiment to translate a pop song into doom death metal!”

BIOGRAPHY
Formed in the winter of 2014 in Lisburn city, Northern Ireland, The Crawling use a guttural vocal to combine melancholy with weight, churning out a heavy, doom/death ensemble.
January 2015 saw the debut single ‘Choking On Concrete,’ followed in October 2015 by the critically acclaimed In ‘Light of Dark Days' EP. April 2017 the bands debut album 'Anatomy Of Loss' was released via Grindscene Records, accompanied by five music videos, receiving excellent reviews worldwide, and was streamed exclusively by Metal Hammer UK. November 2018, ‘Wolves and the Hideous White’ features six tracks, building on the sound of their debut. The album did well with media and fans alike, increasing the fan base.
With live music on hold, and gatherings being kept to a minimum, and rehearsals being limited; The Crawling concentrated efforts on their most depressive track to date - “Sparrow,” coupled with an interpretation of the Bjork track “Play Dead.”
The Crawling have spread the misery drenched album through a strong live performance, with support from a loyal fan base; most notably appearing at Inferno Metal Festival (Norway), Bloodstock Open Air (UK), Seige of Limerick (IRE), Metal Days (SLO), Shellshockfest (Malta), Uprising (UK), Incinerationfest (UK), Mammothfest (UK) and Full Metal Mensa (GER).
