Polemicist was formed in 2017 by Domico & Giordano. They released their first full-length in 2019. Covid struck one year later but they soldiered on and released Return of the Sophist in 2021. After relocating to Portland, Oregon in 2022, they found ex-Uada drummer Elijah Losch one year later.
