GOSPELHEIM have conceived a wondrous beast with "Ritual & Repetition": Its glittering skin is made from catchy dark rock melodies. Its bones are carved from solid gothic metal. Its forked tongue sings with both a beautiful female and a male voice. Its fiery eyes reflect deep melancholia, yet its sharp teeth bite hard without remorse. This young British band is astonishingly mature in their song-writing that seemingly without any effort manages to combine a plethora of influences and impress with their stylistic wingspan. Besides the obvious dark rock and gothic metal, GOSPELHEIM add a variety sonic flavours that even include blues rock, a knife-tip of Rush in the vocals, and other spicy ingredients that tickle the musical palate and please the ears. GOSPELHEIM were formed by singer and guitarist Ricardo and bass-player and vocalist Coco in Manchester back in the dark days of 2020 while the world came to a grinding standstill. The core duo took inspiration from the morality of the human condition, silent era horror movies, and the transformation of existential concepts such as good and evil. In early November 2020, GOSPELHEIM recorded their debut album "Ritual & Repetition" at No Studio in Manchester with Joe "Doctor" Clayton. The line-up was later completed with the addition of second guitarist Jordan and Rob on drums. With a visiting card as impressive as "Ritual & Repetition", GOSPELHEIM are bound to leave a lasting impression on their listeners. For all who have been eagerly hoping for a dark rock debut full-length that can match the glorious first record of BEASTMILK, here is an album that you might want to spin.

Los Angeles-based thrash metal trio Diabology is excited to announce the upcoming release of their sophomore album, Father of Serpents, recorded and mixed by Dave Kaminsky (Stone Healer, Fires in the Distance), with mastering by Ryan Williams (Kardashev, The Black Dahlia Murder) at Augmented Audio. The epic cover art for Father of Serpents was designed by Anditya Dita (Magic The Gathering, Rings of Saturn, Killitorous). The album will be released on October 7th through Dissonant Hymns Records. It is the follow-up to the group's well-received 2020 debut album, Nobody Believes Me.
Active since 2016, Diabology was formed by guitarist Jesse Bergen, in part due to the inspiration and encouragement of his metalhead parents who are musicians themselves. After a few years spent writing material and adding other members, the group released their debut album, Nobody Believes Me in 2020.
A mere two years later, Diabology is ready to kick ass on a whole new scale with Father of Serpents. The album is a thrash metal whirlwind at its core, with inspiration, vitriol, and ambition drawn from death metal, black metal, and sludge/doom that takes it to the next level. Although they may be young, Diabology is not fucking around. Father of Serpents is a spirited effort from a group of up-and-comers eager to prove their mettle to the world.

The early beginnings of MANTIC RITUAL were birthed in the band's hometown of Pittsburgh in 2005. Performing initially under the name Meltdown, the group began building a buzz with Northeast heavy metal fans over the next two years with their combination of boundless thrash enthusiasm and superb songsmanship. The band moved across the country to Los Angeles in 2007, where performances alongside leaders of the budding Southern California thrash revival such as Warbringer, Fueled By Fire, and Merciless Death earned them attention from discerning metal audiences and a record deal with Nuclear Blast Records.
The group soon changed their name to MANTIC RITUAL, and released their first – and so far only – full-length record “Executioner” in March 2009. The album received critical acclaim at the time of its release, with MetalSucks praising the band's “ability to display solid songcraft while maintaining a high-level of heaviness,” Blabbermouth taking note of their “passion, chemistry and intensity,” and the Washington Post noting that “MANTIC RITUAL’s old-school sensibilities act like a group hug that brings punks and headbangers together.”
MANTIC RITUAL followed up the release of “Executioner” with live touring alongside heavy metal titans such as Rotting Christ and Destruction, before dissolving in 2010. Potts and Mottsman later went on to join Warbringer for their 2013 release, “IV: Empires Collapse,” with Potts himself also performing on Gygax's 2018 release, “2nd Edition.” Potts, Mottsman, and Wetmore began writing and recording new music together - with Cruz now joining them on drums – in the beginning of 2021.

Two years after their highly acclaimed opus „Maleficae Arts“, Belgian coven Entartung returns with a brand new EP entitled „Pesta“. In a scene full of fakers and shysters, the three man band, which features members from Rituals of the Dead Hand and Slithering Decay, quickly rose to power with their crafty hymns and dedication to occultism. „Pesta“ encorporated all the elements that made their past records instant classics and even further expands on them.
The two tracks included are definitely Black Metal in its truest and most essential form. The riffing is hypnotic but still menacing and the melancholy and atmosphere may remind some of past Drudkh recordings, only with a more orthodox and dark feel similar to earlier Finnish bands. Despite its crisp and professional production, the matertial on „Pesta“ is still firmly rooted in the tradition of old school Black Metal art with a genuinely occult and majestic feel.

Last track recorded ever by the italic (oc)cult black metal band Arimonium Rex, featuring Diabolical Egipan by Okkultum Magnificentia (rebaptised Aeshma Daeva for the occasion) on vocals and keyboards (in addition to former members Arimon on bass and Barbatos on guitars), in Samhain 2002.
