The music and lyrics from this album were composed during the last three years of my life since 2020 after a series of negative and dark periods in which I encapsulated and summoned the dark forces of creativity to bring forward my most inner feelings of despair, negativity, betrayal, suicide ideation, disappointment and disbelief.

After witnessing first hand the death of close friends and acquaintances due to COVID infection and having stared at the face of death myself with the infection.

After a period of darkness and terrifying loneliness in 2021 in which I was not supposed to have seen 2022 but was saved by the only lending hand of the truest of all friends. M.V.

A Free compilation of the first two years of Korpituli Productions, almost all the releases are somehow represented on the compilation. The nominal 1€ fee of the cassette is to cover the bandcamp & paypal fees that they also charge from the shipping costs - so I don't have to pay to give these.

A Total of 100 cassettes will be made on 2nd hand C90 cassettes I've gathered along the way, mostly clear/translucent shells but there might be others in the mix as well. You ever seen that movie KRULL? Dude, fuckin' KRULL. One day, Keith D (Arctic Sleep, Unearthed Elf) said on social media "Dude I should make a heavy metal album about that movie KRULL." Drummer John Gleisner (ex-Northless) chimed in that he'd be down for playing on that. Because let's face it, the world needs a heavy metal album based on KRULL.

So, as previously stated, this album is based on the movie KRULL, a totally kick-ass sci-fi / fantasy epic from 1983. If you haven't seen it, go watch it immediately. If you've seen it already, watch it again.

Keith & John collaborated on this album via the modern miracle of the internet, writing and recording it during the pandemic lockdown times of 2020-2021. They watched KRULL, took notes, and started making true metal. ALL the riffs and lyrics were written WHILE WATCHING KRULL.
