Slander was formed in 1990. They are considered the last NWOBHM band ever formed. Since the beginning they witnessed the scene changing and heavy metal becoming less and less popular in the UK. After just one album they folded in 1993.

But the leader, Andy Saxon-Lamb never gave up and the band returned in 2009. After many disturbances they are now back with a fabulous record. “Take It To The Grave”, released on Stormspell Records, sees Slander in top form. Their new vocalist Steve “Whitty” Whittington delivers a wide range of techniques. His tone may be compared to that of the cult NWOBHM band Tyrant’s singer Mark Kelsa.

Promoting the record are two songs available on Bandcamp: the title track and “Rust In My Bones”.

WODOS RELEASE DEBUT DEMO

Canadian thrashing newcomers WODOS stream their brilliant demo in its entirety

Who are WODOS? This time it’s not the upside down SODOM, but the joke surely is on these Francophones. They are a new force in Canadian scene, a force to reckon with!

The band was created in February 2024 by Justin Caron on drums and Benji Thériault on vocals. They had a few lineup changes before meeting Mikee Blanchet who became the guitarist and Charles Fortin who is now the bassist. Their influences are mainly oldschool Thrash bands from the mid-80s to the mid-90s like Slayer, Demolition Hammer, Sadus and Dark Angel.

They are very attached to the DIY principle to keep the authentic side of metal. The band recorded their demo themselves in a live session (February 23rd 2025) and made cassettes and CDrs. Since the beginning of the band, the reviews have been very positive. People like their oldschool sound, the aggressiveness and the authentic side! They played the first show with local bands on February 7th 2025 and the shows haven´t stopped ever since!

After almost 8 months of concerts all over Quebec and Ontario, they are starting to receive offers to play with bigger bands like Chris Holmes (ex-WASP) and the legendary Quebec band Soothsayer! In the near future, WODOS plan on recording the first album and continue to expand the shows and bring back the oldschool and underground side of metal! Looking forward to making you headbang and never forget: Thrash til´ death!

Rising melodic blackened metal force Voragoth has officially released their highly anticipated debut full-length album, Storm Obey No Masters!, available now on all major streaming platforms and in a limited-edition 6-sided digipak CD (only 50 copies worldwide).

What started as a one-man studio project by Artem “Renegade” Cherepanov has evolved into a full live band ready to bring the epic world of Veloria to stages across Croatia and Europe. CORDYCEPS CORPSE RE-RELEASE "FROM FLESH TO FLUIDS"

Gore House Productions proudly announces the signing of one-person slam/goregrind juggernaut Cordyceps Corpse, the twisted brainchild of multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Nani. The label will reissue the band’s latest full-length album, "From Flesh to Fluids," on CD and cassette later this year, with the digital release available now across all major platforms.

"After following Cordyceps Corpse (Cordy) on social media for several months, I am excited to welcome the project to our roster. Seeing Nani creatively market Cordy while composing filthy, slamming death metal, there was no question but to partner up with Cordy. Her debut album, “From Flesh to Fluids,” quickly became a favorite; I’m beyond stoked to give it a proper release," comments Gore House Productions label founder Carlos Matt.

To mark the occasion, Cordyceps Corpse has dropped a new music video for the title track, “From Flesh to Fluids,” a chaotic, anti-authoritarian blast of guttural vocals, slamming riffs, and visceral imagery that sets the tone for the album’s grotesque journey.

"From Flesh to Fluids" is a sonic descent into madness, equal parts brutal, disgusting, and morbid. Inspired by slam legends like Devourment and Cephalotripsy, the album delivers a raw yet polished evolution of Cordyceps Corpse’s sound, now featuring live drums and tighter production while retaining the DIY filth fans crave.

Fans will blast earwrenching tracks like “Battery Acid Enema”, a vile, tongue-in-cheek collaboration with Nani’s partner Liv, “Stomach Bile For Miles” is a grotesque narrative of cannibalistic carnage, “Family Photo With Hella Cadavers” (feat. WORMFUCKER) is a dehumanizing snapshot of horror, and “Tools For Torture” is a slow-building frenzy inspired by Terrifier.

Nani, who writes, records, and performs every element of Cordyceps Corpse, describes the album as “pure chaos into heavy slam riffs.” Drawing inspiration from horror films, documentaries, and even neighborhood trash disasters, the music is driven by feeling rather than formula.

“I want this album to give the same feeling I got when I first heard Molesting the Decapitated by Devourment. Thick and brutal sound that just keeps hitting," says Nani.

Cordyceps Corpse began in late 2023 as a solo rebellion against the monotony of beat-making.

“I was bored with making music for other people. I wanted to form a band, but didn’t want to wait around. So I said, ‘f*** it, I’ll do it myself,” adds Nani.

That DIY ethos extends to everything, from the music to the logo, which Nani designed on a refurbished iPad after watching YouTube tutorials.

With live shows described as chaotic parties, complete with crowd participation and impromptu mic screams, Cordyceps Corpse is poised to carve a unique space in the underground metal scene. And with Gore House Productions backing the reissue, the band’s reach is about to get a whole lot bloodier.

Fimbul Winter is a new force in Swedish Death Metal, but its foundation runs deep in the genre’s roots. Twenty five years since their tale of terror began and far too long a time since the release of their last album back in 2006, the demigods of death, legends of the underworld, Lust Of Decay have returned! They carry with them, in their bloodstained, disease riddled hands something bleak and soul destroying, ten new commandments of depravity and tragedy, new incitements to violence and degradation – their long, long awaited fourth full length album – Entombed in Sewage. From the first shocking moments of opening track, ‘Parasitic Exsanguination’, twisted riffs ensnare you and vocals from the other side of death engulf you. Drums deliver absolute oblivion and though the tempos shift the impact is never less than decimating.
