And Then, He Saw It Was Death is the first release from the one member blackened doom outfit Woventongue, and is a collaboration between Finnish vocalist & lyricist Oenos, written and recorded in London throughout 2022.

Piercing, your fragile veins

Of brief moment in pain

The desolate, silent voices

Whispers crawl, and the gasp of air

Do you recall, the frozen waters lay still

Do you remember, the curse

Of those winter days

Do you remember, the end

The sinking feel, the deeper

It was death.
