FINAL DEPRAVITY REPLACES BASS PLAYER

German thrash groove metal band Final Depravity have replaced bass player Alex Voss, who left the band recently, with Matthias Vatter. The band recently released a lyric video for the track "Garden Hate" (check it below). Regarding the bass player change, the band issued the following statement:

Yes, we have a new bass player!You have probably noticed a new face on our live pics and in our videos in the past months. Today's the time to officially introduce our new bass player to you: please welcome Matthias Vatter to the Final Depravity family!

Although Alex Voss is no longer in our band, we are still friends and that's why we wish him all the best for his future!"

NAPALM DEATH ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM RELEASE

British Grindcore death metal legends, Napalm Death, will release their new album entitled "Apex Predator - Easy Meat", on January 26th in Europe and January 27th in North America. The album will be the 15th in the band´s career and the follow up to the EP "Our Pain is the Power", released in April 2014. Vocalist Mark "Barney" Greenway has released the following statement:

"Sometimes you have to ponder long and hard for an album title, but following the Rana Plaza disaster of last year (collapse of a textile sweatshop building in Bangladesh), it spurred me on to try and craft an expose slave labour in the modern world (and the surrounding conditions propping it up). 

Some in power like to declare that slavery is consigned to the history books. But if you look beneath the surface it is alive and well in many different forms - it just has a different face now, and exists in ways that may seem ethically ambiguous. Using the terminology of evolution particularly interests us, so in this case the 'Apex Predator' represents those who bring the slavery to bear (and capitalise from it), and the 'Easy Meat' is of therefore those who feel they have no option but to comply.

Fittingly, the music on 'Apex Predator - Easy Meat' is punishing. We feel it's more ambient, more expansive, more unsettlingly discordant than ever, and importantly, still extremely rampant at excessive speed. We hope in every respect - both musically and lyrically - this album will make your eyes burn with the harsh sonics and harsh visions of the dumping ground of globalisation."

BLOODBATH STREAMS "GRAND MORBID FUNERAL" TRACK

Sweden´s death metal masters Bloodbath are streaming the title track from their new album "Grand Morbid Funeral". "Grand Morbid Funeral" will be released on November 17th through Peaceville Records. This album is the follow up to the band´s 2008 opus "The Fathomless Mastery" and is the first one to feature Paradise Lost´s Nick Holmes on vocals replacing Opeth´s vocalist Mikael Akerfeld.

Norwegian progressive power thrash metal band Sarpedon will release their debut album "Anomic Nation" on December 5th. The album will be released by Inverse Records and is the follow up to Sarpedon´s 2006 and 2008 demos. The band features Carl M. HORNED ALMIGHTY RELEASES NEW ALBUM ON VINYL

Danish black thrash metal band Horned Almighty will release their new album entitled "World of Tombs" on vinyl on November 24th. The album is the fifth in the bands career and the follow up to 2010 "Necro Spirituals". The vinyl edition will be limited to 300 copies, 100 of which will be released on black/ brown /white splatter colors. The album was mixed by J.
