The new EP is the band´s third release and the follow up to their debut full length "Forest of Stars" released in 2014. Italian black metal band Gort will release their new album "Pestiferous Worms Miasma" on January 13th. The new album is the second full length release in Gort´s story and the follow up to their "Sixth Day´s Cancer" album released in 2008 (the band also released a split with Umbra Noctis in 2010 and a Promo in 2012). "Pestiferous Worms Miasma" was recorded at Orange Bug Studios in Naples (IT) during Fall/Winter 2011. The new album was produced, mixed and enginereed by Salvio Imparato & Gort.
