DYECREST RELEASE "WINTERBLOOD" ACOUSTIC OFFICIAL VIDEO

Finnish heavy power metal band DYECREST has released a video of the acoustic version of the track "Winterblood". The tune is part of the band´s latest EP "The Stage is Set" from 2019. The video was directed and written by Saara Leutola (Gallacas films) and features Actors/actresses: Peik Carpelan, Pilvi Mäkeläinen, Minni Lilja. “Winterblood” is a tribute to Finnish fantasy by author Helena Waris. LIK RELEASE OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR "DECAY"

Swedish death metal band LIK has released a video for the track "Decay". The tune is part of the band´s new album "Misanthropic Breed" that will be released on September 25th through Metal Blade Records. "Misanthropic Breed" was recorded in March/April 2020 in Stockholm and Uppsala and was Produced, Mixed and Mastered by Lawrence Mackrory. SEPULTURA STREAMS "ORGASMATRON" LOCKDOWN VERSION WITH MOTÖRHEAD´S PHIL CAMPBELL

Brazilian metal masters SEPULTURA have uploaded a new video of their lockdown live sessions. This time, the band delivers the classic MOTÖRHEAD tune "Orgasmatron", featuring the one and only Phil Campbell on guitar. SEPULTURA first released the "Orgasmatron" cover version in their "Dead Embryonic Cells" single released in 1991, along with the title track and the classinc "Troops of Doom".

AIRFORCE Joins Pitch Black Records

New album out on September 4th

UK old-school rockers AIRFORCE have joined forces with Pitch Black Records for the release of the band’s new album, their second full-length since reforming in 2016.

The new AIRFORCE studio album “Strike Hard” is set for release on September 4th 2020 on CD and Digital.

AIRFORCE stem originally from the NWOBHM era back in the 80’s with the band’s style best described as Old School Metal at its best, full of hooks, Riffs and soaring melodies!

The band was originally formed in 1986 by Tony Hatton (bass), Chop Pitman (guitars) and legendary drummer Doug Sampson (ex- Iron Maiden).

The AIRFORCE line-up now includes the extremely talented vocalist Flavio Lino who recently joined the band on a permanent basis.

“Strike Hard” features a number of guest appearances, starting with Paul Di’ Anno (ex- Iron Maiden vocalist) and former AIRFORCE vocalist Ivan Giannini (now of Vision Divine).

The CD version of the album features a bonus track which is a cover of “Faith Healer”, a classic Sensational Alex Harvey Band song. This recording includes a guest appearance by the original SAHB guitarist Zal Cleminson.

The song “Die For You” is now available for streaming and free download at www.pitchblackrecords.com where pre-ordering information is also available. A video for the same song will be released on the band’s YouTube channel and followed by a series of other videos in the upcoming months.

NECROLEPSY RELEASE "CLOT OVER CONCRETE" SINGLE (STREAM ONLINE)

Hailing from Sylhet, Bangladesh, NECROLEPSY came into existence in 2012 as a goregrind outfit. They spewed forth the EP, Exhibition of Mutilated Apparatus, in 2014 and a slew of split releases between 2014 to 2016. Necrolepsy’s savagery came to a halt in 2016. Still, the duo Muttaki and Ruzlan continued making weird and heavy music together: they inaugurated stoner/doom daemon Moonshiner the same year and released the s/t demo the next year (2017).  

 

Neither Muttaki nor Ruzlan currently resides in Sylhet; the former settled in Toronto, and the later moved to Dhaka. Yet, their passion for brutal and extreme music enticed them to resuscitate NECROLEPSY and work on new materials.

 

The new single “Clot Over Concrete” ushers in a new era as NECROLEPSY transmuted themselves into a menacing death metal machine, escaping from their early goregrind root. This track also serves as the first single from their forthcoming EP, expected to be released in 2021.

 

“‘Clot Over Concrete’ has a more death metal approach than our earlier goregrind rooted stuff,” NECROLEPSY informs. “The song is against all those in the hierarchy and their blind followers.”
