SUIDAKRA RE-RELEASE REMASTERED EDITION OF "LUPINE ESSENCE"

 

PRESS RELEASE:

Germany's SUIDAKRA are set to reissue a remastered edition of their 23 years old debut album "Lupine Essence", which was the starting point of an adventurous and unique career. Set to be released on November 20th via MDD, "Lupine Essence" will feature the original 8 tracks remastered by the band's very own Arkadius "Akki" Antonik, plus 6 additional partly unreleased bonus tracks from different re-recordings. The booklet contains additional liner notes by Arkadius, who will give the fans some insight on the history of this album.

"Lupine Essence" will also be available for the first time on vinyl, featuring 7 original tracks from the album and two previously unreleased and re-recorded versions of "And A Mistrel..." and "Sheltering Dreams". Since the original 1997 artwork is no longer available in its original format, a version of Jesus Lhysta/Rotted Artist, which is close to the original, was created especially for this re-release. The album is now available for pre-order on CD and vinyl (in three different colours) as well as an exclusive bundle at the MDD Shop.

INCINERY RELEASE VIDEO FOR "ELLISON"

UK Thrash Metallers, Incinery have released ‘Ellison’, the second single from the upcoming Incinery album ‘Hollow Earth Theory’ which will be released on Friday 16th October, two weeks before the album drops.

The song ‘Ellison’ is inspired by the Harlan Ellison story ‘I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream’, in which a self-aware supercomputer wipes out mankind and enslaves the survivors. The song dwells on our relationship with technology and misplaced faith that it will deliver us from all obstacles. The single will be accompanied by a lockdown video of the band playing in their respective locations.

Death metal legends Wombbath announce their 30th anniversary release which very few active bands can boast of. They've become a force to be reckoned with especially in recent years, after carving a reputation for themselves in the underground especially with their 'Internal Caustic Torments' full length in the early '90s. Since then they've released three more full lengths, each one better received than the last. 

The video here is taken from the upcoming release titled 'Tales of Madness' coming soon on Transcending Obscurity Records.

This here is a release that includes completely re-recorded songs from their early years as well as brand new material representing the band's current sound. The songs have been mastered in a way that there's no difference in sound quality all through and plays almost as a whole new album. It's fascinating to mark the progress of the band over the course of three decades and this release is a testament to the timeless quality of their brand of hard-hitting and memorable Swedish death metal. This release will dispel any notions of their might and relevance, as they gear up to unleash a brand new one come next year on Transcending Obscurity again.

Wacken TV has put a live DIMMU BORGIR video from the track "Spellbound (by the Devil) in their YouTube channel. The tune, originally released in the "Enthrone Darkness Triumphant" album from 1997 is delivered here in the version that the band played in the Wacken Open Air 2007. At the time, the band was promoting the "In Sorte Diaboli" album, released earlier that year.
