THE IMPALER RELEASE "A FATE WORSE THAN DEATH"

PRESS RELEASE:

The Impaler

A Fate Worse Than Death

Self-Released

19 February 2021

Australian  band THE IMPALER will release their album "A Fate Worse Than Death" on Februrary 19th 2021. The album is the follow up to their 2020 Debut album "Death Cult" and features guest appearances from Josh Hill of Cerement and CJ McMahon of Thy Art Is Murder on "Mourn".

The Impaler aims to move its listeners physically with its energy-infused music, then mentally with its cryptic and story-driven lyrical themes. Together the band draws on influences from bands like Aversions Crown, Whitechapel, and Watain.

The Impaler is a band that aims to please by means of Total Chaos.

FLEETBURNER RELEASE NEW SINGLE "THE COURSE - ACOUSTIC"

PRESS RELEASE:

Fleetburner releases orchestral new single “The Course - acoustic”

Watch it here on Youtube - https://youtu.be/fBMji29JNMM

Order song here; https://fleetburner.lnk.to/coursepre

In the wake of the September release of the critically acclaimed full-length debut album, the band shows yet another facade on it’s multicoloured palet.

Moody, dark and with a near-cinematic twist, “The Course” is rendered into an emotional and surprisingly accessible rendition with the help of longtime Finnish friends in Lost in Grey who add a rich and twisted layer of choirs and emotions to the pivotal song of the album, in which the Fleetburner finally comes to the grim understanding…

“We walk through this life with shattered souls all around”.

A must-hear for anyone who stares stricken at the state of the world we live in.

CRAWLING CHAOS RELEASE VIDEO FOR "THE PRINCE IS HERE"

PRESS RELEASE:

Decibel Magazine is currently premiering "The Prince Is Here", the new video of Italian death metallers CRAWLING CHAOS, at THIS LOCATION.

The song comes off the band's new album "XLIX", now available via Time To Kill Records.

"XLIX", a concept album loosely based on "The Prince", the renown book written by Niccolò Machiavelli in the XVI century, was mixed and produced by renown Italian producer Simone Mularoni.

Devotees of influential modern death metal merchants like Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour Of Penance and Decapitated have a new band to champion.

"XLIX" tracklist:

01. My Golden Age

02. The Prince Is Here

03. Block And A Bloody Knife

04. 49th, Or The Law Of Desperation

05. Ishnigarrab, Or The Awful Offspring Of The Goat

06. Covered In Debris

07. Doom Of Babylonia

CRAWLING CHAOS was founded in Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. In January 2009, the band released its first home-recorded EP, "Goatsuckers". Even if the EP got many positive reviews by the metal media, it was just an appetizer mainly distributed for promotional purposes.

In the following years, the band plunged deep in the writing process of new music. In December 2012, the band recorded its first full-length, "Repellent Gastronomy", at Domination Studios. Produced and mixed by Simone Mularoni, the album was released on November 2013 via Memorial Records.

In the wake of "Repellent Gastronomy"’s great reception, a work praised by many international metal webzines, the band’s live activity took off: between 2013 and 2016, CRAWLING CHAOS played dozens of gigs all around Italy supporting international acts such as Suffocation, The Monolith Deatchult, Havok, Skeletonwitch, Hideous Divinity, Necrosy, Dark Lunacy and more.

In December 2019, the band re-entered the studio in order to record its second full-length, "XLIX", a concept album inspired by Machiavelli’s notorious book "The Prince". Once again, the record was mixed and produced by Simone Mularoni.

Watch for new details, singles and more news on other upcoming activities to be posted shortly.

Line up:

Manuel Guerrieri – “MG” – Guitars, Vocals

Andrea Velli – “Shub” – Guitars, Backing Vocals

CAPRA RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM "IN TRANSMISSION"

PRESS RELEASE:

On April 23rd, Capra will release their debut full-length, In Transmission, via Blacklight Media / Metal Blade Records. For a first preview of the album, a video for the new single, "The Locust Preacher" (directed by Matt Valentin), can be viewed at: blacklightmediarecords.com/capra - where In Transmission can also be pre-ordered in the following formats:

- jewelcase-CD

- white / black marbled vinyl (EU exclusive - limited to 250 copies)

- yellow w/ black dust vinyl (EU exclusive - limited to 250 copies)

- clear w/ pink and black splatter vinyl (US exclusive)

Formed in 2016 by guitarist Tyler Harper and drummer Jeremy Randazzo, who had previously worked together in multiple projects, Harper had just come out of a 90-day stint in rehab and was looking to focus on something new. The initial idea was to create something that would be fresh while still giving listeners a sense of nostalgia for the sounds of the late 90's and early 2000's hardcore and punk scenes. After going through a few line-up changes, they ultimately added bassist Ben Paramore and vocalist Crow Lotus, and everything came together. "This band symbolizes that hard work, determination, passion, and drive can lead to success. We're all very outspoken on our past struggles and intend to help others that feel like they're in a hole so deep that they can't climb out of it," Harper asserts. In Transmission is literally the culmination of years of hard work, reflecting everything they have been writing and pouring into the band since solidifying the lineup. "We wanted it to be the heaviest and most complete record we could possibly lay down, composed of only the best songs we've written over years of playing together. It's the best set of songs we've ever had, and we're all extremely proud of them, and each other, so we hope it sounds like a total passion project - because it is," says Paramore.

Predominantly tracked in December 2019, In Transmission was recorded with Jai Benoit (Golgothan, Father Rust), then mixed by Taylor Young (Nails, Twitching Tongues) and mastered by Brad Boatwright (Pig Destroyer, Integrity, Torche, Idle Hands). The only exceptions were "Mutt," "Transfiguration," and "Deadbeat Assailant," which were recorded during the pandemic lockdown, and required the members to go into the studio individually to lay down their parts rather than all going in together. The hardest aspect of making the record turned out to be naming it. "We went through a plethora of titles trying to find what we felt was the perfect name," Paramore says. "We've been sitting on the majority of this record since the end of 2019 and had originally hoped to send it out to the masses mid-summer, but thanks to the pandemic, all of that obviously got pushed back. In a lot of ways, this is a message we've been trying to send out that has essentially been stuck or lost in transmission for a year now, and we're all ready for that message to finally be received."

Sombria is a dark/doom melancholic metal project which has been formed by singer/songwriter Dimi De San who, for the purposes of this project comes under the name ‘’Valentina Devin’’ and guitarist/composer ’’Seven Raven’’.

Dimi De San’s music path started on 2012 with the formation of the band Caelestia which had been leading up to 2019. Then she decided to stop and join forces with Raven Seven creating this ‘dramatic’, full of emotions project meant to mark the musicians’ music path, -Sombria-.

Both musicians have worked with big names of the metal industry like Toni Lindgren from Fascination Street Studios and Fredrik Nordström, Bjorn ‘’Speed’’ Strid of SOILWORK, drummer Markus ‘’Makka’’ Freiwald of SODOM and collaborated with big artists and directors like Seth Siro Anthon (Septic Flesh, Paradise Lost, Moonspell etc), Gogo Melone (Aeonian Sorrow) and Matthias Kolleg (Kreator, Lacrimosa etc).

Their live appearances are numerous appearing with important bands like Katatonia, Arch Enemy, Insomnium, Draconian among others, including raven seven‘s very successful collaborations at big metal festivals.

Both have been featured several times in various magazines, with full interviews and live performances while also appearing in numerous tv and web shows.

Dimi’s successful tour on 2019 with Norwegian “Vulture industries”, “Hellheim” and “Madder Mortem” marked the beginning of SOMBRIA as a life project.

Its main purpose apart from featuring music, acting and dancing is aiming to raise awareness -through their music, lyrics and performances- over many sensitive subjects like child poverty, environmental issues, equality, taboo topics etc. and also focusing on helping people in need as much as possible.

“Chirographon Dei” is Sombria’s debut full-length album consisting of 9 songs, recorded, mixed and mastered by (Seven Raven) in Raven Seven’s studio.

All of the songs have been composed by seven raven and lyrics created by Dimi De San (Valentina Devin).

The album has been released by Finnish Inverse Records.

AETHERIAN RELEASE "PRIMORDIAL WOOODS" (FEAT. ROTTING CHRIST´S SAKIS TOLIS)

PRESS RELEASE:

AETHERIAN

Primordial Woods

Release date: Friday, January 29th 2021

Melodic death metallers AETHERIAN released an environmentally friendly single, "Primordial Woods" features the distinctive vocals of Sakis Tolis (Rotting Christ).

The band states of the song:

"These past few years our planet is experiencing a rapid change of the global climate. The extent of fires in Australia, the Amazon rainforest and the Siberian boreal forest, shows us that the worst-case scenario is right on our doorstep. The destruction of wildlife’s natural habitat diminishes biodiversity and is disrupting the balance of every ecosystem. The damage we now cause might as well be irreversible. “Primordial Woods” is a song about our world’s forests. Preserving their magic and passing it over to the next generations is our duty. Let’s not make the same mistakes as those before us did."

Influenced by the beauty of nature, Aetherian’s new single is about the energy and the magic of our world’s ancient forests. There, lie trees older than us and jungles older than humanity itself. And yet we strive to extinguish them. “

Primordial Woods” was recorded and mixed by Fotis Benardo (ex. Septic Flesh), in Devasoundz studios and mastered by George Nerantzis, while the voice of the mighty Sakis Tolis (Rotting Christ) is also featured.

ΑΡΧΕΓΟΝΑ ΔΑΣΗ (Greek for “Primordial Woods”)

Currently, AETHERIAN is in the process of creating their second full-length album.

DEATH KOMMANDER RELEASE "PRO PATRIA MORI"

PRESS RELEASE:

Death Kommander – Pro Patria Mori (2021)

Flames, concussions, and the horror of mechanized slaughtering – Death Kommander’s new album “Pro Patria Mori” combines it all into a 49-minute-long debut, which immediately reminds the listener that Old School Death Metal is far from old or dead and the mighty Bolt Thrower may have a worthy successor!

Tony “Demolition Man” Dolan from Venom Inc. and Patrick “Frugi” Herrsche from Messiah round up the album with guest appearances on the first and last song, adding another layer to the already very volatile release and make it even more interesting.

The album can be divided into two parts – the first slower worship of groovy riffs, and the second, more daring and faster attack on enemy trenches. The variety and length of the album are making the album worth multiple listening iterations where every time something new can be discovered.

The album has been released digitally on the 01.01.2021 and physically on the 26.01.2021 through Warhorn Records.

Notable songs: Steel Reaper, Shock Trooper, Unnamed Graves, Flamethrower

Bandcamp:

Facebook:

The album starts off with an Intro where the similarity to the legendary Bolt Thrower already springs to mind like a foot mine. As the needle jumps off, the first Tunes of War attack the musical battlefield and advance with a Steel Reaper through the Incoming Death – two songs with multiple layers of advancing technology. Especially the end of Incoming Death arises again from the rubble and presents the listener with growls full of despair.

Groovy riffs and slow headbanging parts continue in Shock Trooper and challenge the neck muscles before the advancement of a rolling riff machine titled Mechanized Warfare.

Like in every battle, the turning point starts with Unnamed Grave, which mixes typical Bolt Thrower with long growls of despair and melodic lines that are building up to the end of the song where even the baldest listener will feel hair flying through the air.

Play of Death and Flanders Blues are the more daring side of the album, where catchy melodies lead the listener dancing through the mine field in no man’s land.

As the battle is approaching the end, the Flamethrower is clearing out with a bass intro that leaves no person standing in front of the trenches. The spark is so catchy that you can even hear the incinerated corpses shouting “FLAMETHROWER”!

A last undertaking is The March, with changing tempo and versatile vocal deployment. It stands out as a more modern interpretation of Death Metal without forgetting its roots in horror and despair.

All that follows now is the bleak end of the story. Tony “Demolition Man” Dolan’s voice marks the sharp contrast and takes over the role of a narrator, concluding that for the deceased there is no honour, nor glory – Pro Patria Mori.
