Co-release Satanath Records with The End Of Time Records: new album "Lustcifer" of Puerto Rican black metal band Godless is out on March 28th, 2021!

GODLESS is a Black Metal band founded by Gröfaz a.k.a. Asaradel in the winter of 1989. The band's live performances created a lot of controversy due to severely brutal and sick displays of self mutilation, blasphemy and carcasses on stage. As a result of the band's violent ideology, GODLESS was banned from playing live. However, it also earned them features in well established newspapers and documentaries in their country of origin, Puerto Rico. After many lineup changes GODLESS underwent from the band's primordial era throughout the early decade of 2000; Gröfaz a.k.a. Asaradel decided to become a one-man band, he has been involved in several bands in the past as well as the present, such as: Lethal Prayer (ex-Morbid Angel, ex-Acheron, ex-Incantation, Nocturnus), Vrangsinn (Carpathian Forest member band), The Mentors, etc. During its long career, GODLESS has released 3 successful albums, several demos and EPs, which have been released by labels in Europe and The United States. Many prominent figures from the Black/Death Metal scene worldwide have been guests in these recordings (Sinister, Demonic Christ, Nocturnus, Dark Tribe). GODLESS has also been part of several compilations, radio stations, magazines in Europe and America.

"Mystai Keltoy" is an enigmatic name that alludes to the Elusian Mysteries. The album includes 11 tracks that speak of ancient alien civilizations, European pyramids, legends and historical facts of Friuli, as you could already guess from the album cover. The album was recorded and produced at the Groove Factory in Udine by Michele Guaitoli, a prominent name for being the lead singer of Temperance, Vision of Atlantis, Era. Among the 11 songs one is sung by Germana Noage, ex singer of Aetherna and of the same Elevate Records team.

The formation of the power trio is Simone Cescutti on drums, Jacopo Novello on bass and Jonathan Vanderbilt on vocals and guitars. The cover is hand painted by Sheila Franco, the same girl who painted Blood Over Intents, and represents the myth of the ancient visitors. Jonathan Vanderbilt played and recorded the album with Panico Custom instruments, the Italian sponsor of custom lutherie of Luca Panico di Ravenna, a guitar specially created with the specifications requested by the Canadian guitarist.

CELTIC HILLS were born in 2010, but only in 2020 they sign a recording contract with Elevate Records with which they release the album "Blood over Intents" and the EP "Schrage Musik" both in 2020.

 In 2021 another album is out "Mystai Keltoy" produced and recorded by Michele Guaitoli singer of Temperance, Vision of Atlantis and Era. The style played is difficult to place in a single vein of metal, as there are many influences ranging from death to power, with sound elements that can also recall a certain type of 90's thrash. The singing is quite varied, and for some listeners it may seem unusual in a metal band. power, speed and good melodic lines distinguish the band from others. Between 2010 and 2020 they released "Horns helmet fighters" and for the Slovak Music Globalliance they came out on international compilations on volumes 2,3,4.

DECAPITATED RELEASE "THE FIRST DAMNED" DEMO COMPILATION

Stirring the internet recently with mysterious cassette tapes posted across their socials, DECAPITATED put an end to the speculation today: On June 4th, the Polish tech death metal virtuosos will release their early demos in a carefully handpicked collection called "The First Damned".

Officially released via NUCLEAR BLAST for the first time, DECAPITATED's early demos have not been remixed, remastered or messed with in any way. Instead, this is a blistering snapshot of four young men with fire in their bellies and a bright future ahead of them.

Vogg states: "For some of you, the story behind these demos might be an awesome way to learn about the band or refresh your memory on our history. Demo tape is at the core of the band’s DNA and when I think about it now, I am really surprised that we were able to record both demos at such a young age.

I am excited that it was possible to work on this release with a great team and deliver something for our die-hard fans. “The First Damned” is unique, with an awesome layout and bio, which some of you might not be familiar with.

If it wasn’t for Sauron who came up with the idea of starting a band, my brother Vitek who played drums at the age of 12, and Martin who had the idea of going to the studio to record those tracks - there wouldn’t be a band called Decapitated. We were just a bunch of young guys who were inspired by thrash and death metal.

Now, with the help of great people: Dom Lawson, Micah Ulrich, Marcelo Vasco, and all the team who worked on this release, we were able to create - in my opinion - a cool design and honouring the true demo cassette vibe.

For the first time this record will be released on LP, and we couldn’t of course forget about cassettes, which are another cool way to keep the memories alive. We didn’t change anything with the sound. We took the sound from the original DAT masters, so it’s the real, organic sound of the music we recorded back in the days.

MAITREYA RELEASE VIDEO FOR "PILGRIM"

Canadian progressive metalcore outfit Maitreya will be unleashing their upcoming full-length “Hyper Reels” this coming June 2021. The sophomore album boasts a higher degree of musical complexity, filthy breakdowns and a wider range on the vocals ebbing from melodic cleans into sustained growls set to a whirlwind of complicated riffs. The record is a heavily layered listening experience, a cacophony of styles, merging together to create an intense wall of sound that forces you to pay attention to all the subliminal notes and tempo changes. 

To date, they have shared three singles “Summit”, “Departed” and “Catalyst” and today they are ready to present their next track in preview of the forthcoming album.

Similar to previously revealed singles that were inspired by the well-known TV show and movies, “Pilgrim” came to light after guitarist Mark Wylie's viewing of a Black Mirror episode. 

“Pilgrim has one of the more broad scoped lyrics concepts in the album. It talks about social trends and the kind of philosophy which organizes our society, which came to mind after seeing an episode of Black Mirror. Our society is organized in a way that leads many to feel imprisoned and trapped within the social norms and systemic structures that exist. The music video itself is visually progressive and psychedelic with a calming audio experience until towards the end of the track, you get a beautiful djent breakdown along with an unleashed rapture from vocalist Matt Cutrara.
