Since 2009, ENTORX provide rough, athmospheric and complex Death / Thrash Metal, with a blend of Progressive music. Pushing and playful drums collide with mighty walls of guitars, which are underpinned by driving and highly variable bass compositions. René’s bloodcurdling vocals cap it all, while seamlessly changing to impressive clean vocals.

In 2020, ENTORX plans to increase their range massively. Their previously released EP „Theta Waves“ and LP „Broken Ways“ are highly praised: a more than solid foundation is already pounded. Also, they are known for their energetic and precise live performances.

After tightening the screws creating a new album for a few years, ENTORX are ready for the next level(s).

Their new and highly anticipated album "Faceless Insanity" is a very dark and aggressive brew; simultaneously more playful than its highly praised predecessor „Broken Ways“. The band's more demanding technical and bleak arrangements are a real pleasure for fans of bands like DARKANE, REVOCATION, OPETH, GOJIRA and HATE!

The album is based on a Polish folk tale, "Andzia", but is modified in a way that fits with the Gulguta lyrics style. The story is about a girl called Andzia, living alone in the forest, but a fool king falls in love with her. He will soon discover that she is engaged with his son, so his vengeance will be terrible.

Embers Gathering is a redefining of the band's sound, with years of calculated work put into refining the songs. The result is an album filled with ear catching riffs, accompanied with lyrics that relate to personal life events, meeting and overcoming obstacles, and the perspective earned through these experiences.

FLESHBORE recorded the album with Jackson Ward at Strata Recording. Luciferium War Graphics was also recruited to create the visual representation of the album artwork, as well as a new logo that has evolved with the new sound.

Making their debut in 2017, FLESHBORE independently released two EPs, including the latest installment. Malignancy, in 2018.

Playing shows extensively was a focus. Seeds were planted in the Midwest and along the New England area playing with bands such as Dying Fetus, Rings of Saturn, and Equipoise in support of their debut live performance.

After recruiting Tyler Mulkey on drums and Michael O'Hara on vocals, they released their latest single "Cynicism," which was recorded along with the rest of their debut full-length album Embers Gathering. Their goal from the band's formation was to break barriers both musically and mentally, while encouraging others to push themselves to do the same.

FULCI RELEASE "EXHUMED INFORMATION"

Acclaimed Italian death metal force FULCI once again conspires with Time To Kill Records to release the band’s third full-length album, on July 23rd 2021.

The new FULCI album, entitled "Exhumed Information", continues the paradigmatic experience of the band as a tribute to (cult Italian film director) Lucio Fulci’s filmography. The album is a concept based on the film "Voices from Beyond” (1991). This is not one of the most established and praised Fulci’s works, having actually been made in the final (low budget) phase of his career, yet it is still a very interesting giallo / horror enhanced by a peculiar dark aura.

Once again, FULCI draws inspiration not only from the death metal genre and greats like early Cannibal Corpse, Obituary and Bolt Thrower, but the macabre thrills of 80's horror soundtracks as well (Fabio Frizzi, John Carpenter, Goblin).

"Exhumed Information" is a very intriguing chapter in FULCI’s discography, as the album has been structured in two parts that explore all the facets of the FULCI sound. The A-side is purely death metal while the B-side has been conceived as a movie soundtrack. All the synth parts were written and performed specifically for FULCI by the electro / soundtrack project TV-CRIMES. This side in particular embodies a reverberating sense of eeriness, danger and fear: the brooding sound feels dangerously unsettling, lacing its churning atmosphere with catchy melodies that travel right through your ears to your central nervous system.

"Exhumed Information" was recorded at Till Deaf Recording Studios by Ando Ferraiuolo. Mastering was entrusted to Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Cirith Ungol, Tomb Mold). The cover artwork was designed by SoloMacello (Sadist, Elvenking, Black Rainbows). Layout and packaging design by Ascionemagro studios.

The single "Glass" is the first taste of the collaboration between TV-CRIMES and FULCI. The track was inspired by one of the key elements of the film "Voices From Beyond".

For now, the mastermind behind TV-CRIMES wishes to remain anonymous.

ARTACH RELEASE LYRIC VIDEO FOR "SHE GATHERS LEAVES"

St. John's Newfoundland is home to some of the most unforgiving, bleak, and snowiest weather in the country and local black metal act Artach uses that grey atmosphere as an inspiration for their raw and epic music.

Last year, Artach released a debut album “Chronicles of a Black Winter'' and this year, will follow it up with “Sworn to Avenge''. The second single from the upcoming release is “She Gathers Leaves”, being presented in a lyric video. The single is more mystical and pagan than the other tracks on the album, as they explain:

“The music has a bit of a gothy feel in places and that leads to having some lyrics about witchy subject matter.” 

They go on, to comment on the album:

“The music on the album is a frigid mixture of topics about nature and how it meets and interacts with the darkness of humankind. The desolation of the world, the planet, and the repeated failure of society to evolve to a place where we are a part of nature and not brutish subjugators of everything in our path.”

Coming from the coldest, windiest, snowiest, foggiest city in Canada, Artach’s music is heavily influenced by nature and even takes after the bleak climate they are surrounded by. “Sworn to Avenge” is an inescapable, cold and at times unhinged grimness. Raw aggression tempered with bouts of melody evoking the grandmasters of the genre while incorporating first and second wave black metal influences.

Raw and epic black metal, Artach is recommended listening for fans of Immortal, Celtic Frost, and Darkthrone.

THRASHBACK RECORDS is pleased to announce that this May we will be releasing a 2-CD collection from the Phoenix, AZ based Death Metal quartet PSYCHIC PAWN titled "Eulogy: The Complete Anthology".

Formed in 1989, PSYCHIC PAWN would release two highly acclaimed demos, "Expedient Demise" in 1991 and "Wake Of Entity" in 1992. "Wake Of Entity" would catch the attention of England's Cacophonous Records and would release the three track 7" E.P. "Disgorged Suppuration" in late 1993.

In 1993 Cacophonous Records would sign the band and release their debut album "Decadent Delirium" November of 1994 (produced by Bill Metoyer) to much acclaim. Unfortunately this would be the bands only album release. After the demise of PSYCHIC PAWN the members would go on to form other acclaimed bands such as BORN OF FIRE and IMAGES OF EDEN.

"Eulogy: The Complete Anthology" compiles all of the bands studio recordings with remastering handled by Rob Colwell at Bombworks Sound. Includes a 16-page booklet with archival photo's and fliers, and a new interview with guitarist Micha Kite conducted by Jon Norberg of Contaminated Tones Web Zine.

GHOST HORIZON RELEASE "THE PUNISHMENT OF LIFE"

Ghost Horizon was formed late in 2015 in Phoenix, AZ, by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Dan Stollings. The atmospheric black metal band’s new album ‘The Punishment of Life’ follows their 2016 debut EP ‘Astral Possession’ and 2017 EP ‘The Erotics of Disgust’. This album will be the first and last full-length album to feature just Dan Stollings and Frog Magus. A more major revamp to the band is coming and will be announced in near the future.

‘The Punishment of Life’ not only marks a significant chapter in Ghost Horizon’s career, but it also delivers a powerful sound through unconventional means. The album is the only Ghost Horizon material to be completely recorded with a real amp and mic - it's essentially a ‘live’ recording. Vocals were all done in a single take and kept intact with all the imperfections that came with it. The result is an utterly haunting, ethereal experience. ‘The Punishment of Life’ opens with ‘Sunrise and Sorrow (Morning Air)’ which establishes Ghost Horizon’s dynamic atmosphere for the album. Their sound emerges from the darkness with alluring aura and shrill, spectral vocals pierce through the instrumentation. The black metallers balance dark and light sounds with both major and minor tonalities explored. The title track begins with a lullaby like melody, which is carried through into heavier sounds. A haunting, spiritual mood is enhanced through the transcendence of their use of tones. ‘Unholy Conjuration’ is the darkest and heaviest track on the album, drawing up an utterly Gothic, cult feel.

The new release celebrates the innovative creativity from Ghost Horizon. It’s a thrilling debut album. They have artfully cultivated a unique sound, experimenting with the epochal elements of black metal and developing their own identity. ‘The Punishment of Life’ is a beautifully chilling venture into the dark.
