Embers Gathering is a redefining of the band's sound, with years of calculated work put into refining the songs. The result is an album filled with ear catching riffs, accompanied with lyrics that relate to personal life events, meeting and overcoming obstacles, and the perspective earned through these experiences.

FLESHBORE recorded the album with Jackson Ward at Strata Recording. Luciferium War Graphics was also recruited to create the visual representation of the album artwork, as well as a new logo that has evolved with the new sound.

BIO

Making their debut in 2017, FLESHBORE independently released two EPs, including the latest installment. Malignancy, in 2018.

Playing shows extensively was a focus. Seeds were planted in the Midwest and along the New England area playing with bands such as Dying Fetus, Rings of Saturn, and Equipoise in support of their debut live performance.

After recruiting Tyler Mulkey on drums and Michael O'Hara on vocals, they released their latest single "Cynicism," which was recorded along with the rest of their debut full-length album Embers Gathering. Their goal from the band's formation was to break barriers both musically and mentally, while encouraging others to push themselves to do the same.

KINGBÉAST RELEASE LYRIC VIDEO FOR "STRAPS OF WRATH"

The Nuremberg groove thrash metallers from Kingbeast are back with a lyric video of the track "Straps Of Wrath".

The band is already working on the follow-up album and have also expanded the line-up for this purpose. The former trio is now and in the future a quartet so that guitarist Heiko can concentrate more on guitar work in the future. The new man at the mic is Thomas Herr, a long-time acquaintance of the band who is also a fantastic singer.

Not allowing a global pandemic to slow them down, “Væ Victis” comes only one year after AKIAVEL’s debut full-length album. This concept album delves into the darkest parts of the human psyche. In 2018, vocalist Auré, guitar player Chris, drummer Butch, and bass player Jay came together to create a sound distinctly modern but with an appreciation for the old school death metal legends from the ‘80s & early ‘90s. It didn’t take long until the chemistry between this quartet to hit critical mass.

The band have always been quick to lay out the hits, releasing their first, self-titled, EP that December. Drawing  inspiration from bands such as: Morbid Angel, Deicide, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, Testament and Gojira, this showcased their trademark sound: a mix of Groove, Thrash, Black and Old-school Death Metal, with a touch of melodic riffs, heavy rhythmic and hardcore sounds.

Although limited by the pandemic, the live performances that followed were executed with stone cold merciless aggression. AKIAVEL made their first stage appearance at the Hellfest Off festival in Clisson in June 2019 (Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast, Sinsaenum, Les Tambours du Bronx) joining the band on stage for 2 mythic covers) and participated in the charity Metal Help Fest 2 in September 2019 at the Secret Place (Montpellier).

The debut full-length album, “V” was a fast follow, released in February 2020. Tracks such as "My Lazy Doll" or "The Witness" hit you right in the face with shredding riffs, neck-breaking drums, and skull-crushing guttural vocals - courtesy of one of the most dynamic frontwomen in death metal.

These releases, along with their reputation in the French music scene, drew the attention of fans and major media outlets worldwide. The band is sponsored by several tier-one brands (Darius Guitarz. Dominger Pickups USA, SP Custom, Skull Strings, and ProOrca drumsticks). Additionally, their debut album “V” was named the Best Underground Metal Album of 2020 by Metal Injection.

The music of In the Company of Serpents is so intense it mimics the gravitational pull of a black hole.

In the Company of Serpents traffic in sonic catharsis. Their music inhabits the strange fringes between sludge metal and sprawling spaghetti western scores, constantly striving for visceral power and raw intensity, contrasted with eerie, spare instrumental passages. Founded in Denver, Colorado in 2011 the band quickly managed to establish a name for themselves. Several releases followed in the years to come and In the Company of Serpents managed to impress the masses on stage as well. Late 2019/early 2020 the band started to work on their album ‘Lux’. It turned out to be one of the most impressive Doom/Sludge Metal albums ever recorded. ALASE RELEASE NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO: "AJAN KYSYMYS"

Alase releases an atmospheric single "Ajan kysymys", after which the band will switch their lyrical language to English. The single will be released together with a music video made by Vesa Ranta's Kaira Films.

"Ajan kysymys" combines Alase's main musical elements such as melancholy, modern atmospheric soundscapes, progressiveness and heavy riffs. The band will continue to work with guest vocalists, however this is singer Juha Tretjakov's third song with Alase.

Guitarist Janne Lunnas describes: "Working with Juha is fun and it involves creativity which clearly enhances the song through the vocal arrangements." The song was recorded with session drummer Ville Aatsinki and it was a very straightforward process.

Janne describes the session with Ville: "Before the studio, Ville and I worked on the drum arrangements remotely and it went really smoothly. After less than two weeks, we went to studio in Tampere, and Ville nailed the song with just a few takes.”

Alase has the composition of the next song ready and its recordings will start soon. There are plans to release a single called "Unburden" in the fall.

DIMMAN RELEASE NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO: "MORBUS"

Finnish modern melodic death metal band Dimman is set to release their debut album ‘Songs and Tales of Grievance’ on July 30th 2021 via Inverse Records. The band’s modern melodeath combines beautiful melodies, heavy compositions and technical musicality into a unique ensemble. In addition to the diverse instrumentation, Dimman’s two vocalists create a distinctive and balanced soundscape.

“Morbus is one of the heaviest songs on the album. The song was originally composed many years ago but it gained its definitive form after some collective arrangement.
