We are happy to welcome a new artist to the Brutal Records Roster Never End has signed a deal with the label for worldwide release the title album "The Cold and the Craving" Sept.3rd, 2021.

Never End aspires to a great many things and does most of them very well -they’re brutal. melodic and technical all at once without ever being too much of one thing, which is impressive.

The grind remains godhead, obviously, but the entwined emanations flowing from it –thrash, match rock, prog, hardcore, metal, grunge—never felt more potently distilled, dynamic or organic.

The new waves of harsh rawness and melodious grandeur surely highlights a specific section of what defines this unique style of Grunge music.

Project founded in early 2007 that weakens the boundaries between Rock, Metal, Grunge, Hardcore, Metalcore, Doom, Stoner. Evolution and musical development have always been the pillars of the project, as well as the personal development of the musicians who make up the band.

Now, in 2021, the band expands the nine-song album entitled "The Cold and the Craving" , also recorded and mastered at The Pentagon Audio Manufacturers by Fernando Martins. This album reflects the conflicting nature of the human condition and represents an opportunity to reflect and explore that issue.

SIDUS RELEASE "PALE DOT"

Sidus returns with his new single ‘Pale Dot’, which follows the footsteps of the post-rock legends Mogwai, slowly building the musical tension into an explosive finale. The song is also accompanied by a visualizer music video. It was produced and mixed by Spiros Olivotos (Sidus) and mastered by Steve Lado.

‘Pale Dot’ is a reference to the photograph of planet Earth taken on February 14, 1990, by the Voyager 1 space probe. It is also a conceptual continuum of the song ‘Prototypes/Replicas’, which explores the fundamental question of nature against nurture. ‘Pale Dot’ is depicting the same existential matter from a more distant perspective, observing human behavior and the interaction between mankind and our planet Earth from outer space.

Bliss Entombed is the third output and sort of a new era for Seeming Emptiness, because it ́s the first album including other musicians. With Tobias Netzell on vocals, his brother Christian on drums and Laurence Jonathan writing the lyrics, it results in a heavy death/doom mixture with a lot of variety over around 50 minutes. 

The album is mostly about loss, grief, the harsh realities and uncomfortable truths of the world we are living in. Not only captured with music, but also visually, with the great artwork by Katell Anne Vivier.

Embers Gathering is a redefining of the band's sound, with years of calculated work put into refining the songs. The result is an album filled with ear catching riffs, accompanied with lyrics that relate to personal life events, meeting and overcoming obstacles, and the perspective earned through these experiences.

FLESHBORE recorded the album with Jackson Ward at Strata Recording. Luciferium War Graphics was also recruited to create the visual representation of the album artwork, as well as a new logo that has evolved with the new sound.

Making their debut in 2017, FLESHBORE independently released two EPs, including the latest installment. Malignancy, in 2018.

Playing shows extensively was a focus. Seeds were planted in the Midwest and along the New England area playing with bands such as Dying Fetus, Rings of Saturn, and Equipoise in support of their debut live performance.

After recruiting Tyler Mulkey on drums and Michael O'Hara on vocals, they released their latest single "Cynicism," which was recorded along with the rest of their debut full-length album Embers Gathering. Their goal from the band's formation was to break barriers both musically and mentally, while encouraging others to push themselves to do the same.

The band is already working on the follow-up album and have also expanded the line-up for this purpose. The former trio is now and in the future a quartet so that guitarist Heiko can concentrate more on guitar work in the future. The new man at the mic is Thomas Herr, a long-time acquaintance of the band who is also a fantastic singer.

Not allowing a global pandemic to slow them down, “Væ Victis” comes only one year after AKIAVEL’s debut full-length album. This concept album delves into the darkest parts of the human psyche. In 2018, vocalist Auré, guitar player Chris, drummer Butch, and bass player Jay came together to create a sound distinctly modern but with an appreciation for the old school death metal legends from the ‘80s & early ‘90s. The band have always been quick to lay out the hits, releasing their first, self-titled, EP that December. Drawing  inspiration from bands such as: Morbid Angel, Deicide, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, Testament and Gojira, this showcased their trademark sound: a mix of Groove, Thrash, Black and Old-school Death Metal, with a touch of melodic riffs, heavy rhythmic and hardcore sounds.

Although limited by the pandemic, the live performances that followed were executed with stone cold merciless aggression. AKIAVEL made their first stage appearance at the Hellfest Off festival in Clisson in June 2019 (Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast, Sinsaenum, Les Tambours du Bronx) joining the band on stage for 2 mythic covers) and participated in the charity Metal Help Fest 2 in September 2019 at the Secret Place (Montpellier).

The debut full-length album, “V” was a fast follow, released in February 2020. Tracks such as "My Lazy Doll" or "The Witness" hit you right in the face with shredding riffs, neck-breaking drums, and skull-crushing guttural vocals - courtesy of one of the most dynamic frontwomen in death metal.

These releases, along with their reputation in the French music scene, drew the attention of fans and major media outlets worldwide. The band is sponsored by several tier-one brands (Darius Guitarz. Dominger Pickups USA, SP Custom, Skull Strings, and ProOrca drumsticks). Additionally, their debut album “V” was named the Best Underground Metal Album of 2020 by Metal Injection.
