The idea of Deltrem started to form, when the band's current guitarist-composer Lauri Halonen started to come up with demos in 2019 just for his own amusement at first. But together with his long time teacher, Mikko Salovaara they started to improve those demos. With Salovaara's guidance and constantly increasing passion for composing and making music, it was clear to Lauri that he wanted to start a band of his own.
After one hellishly drunken bar night, still uknown to each other, Lauri and the bands soon to be vocalist and composer of lyrics, Tommi met at the after party. They hit it off and so grew the band.
After coming up with ideas to couple of songs, it was time for the new addition to the band. There was no need to go far out to look for the bassist. It was clear we needed someone rough and masculine but who would have even slight brain activity. Therefore Lauri picked up the phone and dialed his long time friend Nico and so was the bass problem solved.
Since Late has always been too interrested in beer and lazy to learn to play solos well, it was clear a solo guitarist was needed. He then remembered Martti, a guitarslinger and former band mate. Martti handles his booze, his pinches wail like husky puppies and solos make you weep like in grandmas funeral.
The drummers seat remains vacant in deltrem yet, after couple of failed candidates. Still we decided that we shall wait no more. It is time for Deltrem to emerge to this world.

Highway Queen is a melodic hard rock band based in Lahti, Finland. The Band was founded in 2019 by singer Virpi Kääriäinen, guitarist Teemu Kääriäinen and drummer Henri Backman. They first began writing songs as a three-piece band. Four singles were released in 2020. Bassist Petri Orava joined the band after that. Highway Queen puts their heart and soul into catchy riffs and melodies with influences from all kinds of rock and heavy metal music.

CDN Records is proud to announce that August 21st will be the release date for the reissue of Canadian death metallers The Blood of Christ's early 1990's demos “Frozen Dreams” (1994) and “The Lonely Flowers Of Autumn” (1995) on limited edition cassette and CD. Both are remixed along with remastering done by Dan Swano (Incantation, Jungle Rot, Asphyx). The CD version features bonus tracks from the 1996 Torture Records 7″ single and the 1994 demo “Frozen Dreams”.
The Blood of Christ brutalized their way onto the Canadian scene in the mid-1990s. Even with various line-up changes, mainly vocalists, the band has released a discography of multiple albums and splits along with being a tour de force, supporting bands such as Cryptopsy, Incantation, Morbid Angel, Kataklysm, Necronomicon, Killitorous and many more local and international acts.
The band comments on the reissues:
"This was the beginning of our natural journey that began rooted in straight-up death-grind metal around 1995 with added dark elements from black metal and doom. These songs became epic with varied time signatures and tempo changes, often shifting from chugging death metal riffs to droning black metal riffs in the blink of an eye - and incorporated more vocal styles than the average death metal band would. We have always called it Epic Dark Metal since our inception in 1995 with our “the Lonely Flowers of Autumn” demo… and that has stuck with us."
In support of the reissues for “Frozen Dreams” and “The Lonely Flowers Of Autumn”, The Blood of Christ are also sharing their lyric video for the track “In The Distance”. It was a song written by the band while heavily influenced by the Kataklysm “Sorcery” album. It's a lengthy, heavy and unique grinder that is dedicated to a story of a vampire who can not love a human woman due to his wretched existence and immortality. This song acts as a soundtrack to human suffering, told from both the band's and the fictional vampire’s point of view.

“Unholy Trinity” is the first EP from Germany's Denial of Death, set to be released on July 9th.
Denial of Death is a musical act of resistance made in Nuremberg, Germany. Originated amidst the pandemic, the blackdeath metal project was born in 2021, just a few months before the release of their first EP, “Unholy Trinity”. The use of keyboards and female lyric vocals makes the five tracks of this debut work sometimes phantasmagoric, sometimes atmospheric, giving bone and flesh to reflexive lyrics written by a master of Philosophy.
The head behind Denial of Death is Glauber Ataide, a Brazilian originally from Belo Horizonte now living in Germany. This city gave rise to bands like Sepultura and Sarcofago in the 1980s, being up to this day one of the most important strongholds of the underground scene in Latin America. The debut EP “Unholy Trinity” was entirely composed and recorded in Nuremberg and mixedmastered by Michael Kraxenberger at Sick of Sound Studios in Munich, Germany.

The year 2004 SHADOWDREAM with the idea to explore various musical styles and genres, from NEOCLASSICAL, AMBIENT and finally JAZZ. This was the year while Rastko was still studying music theory in Music High School in Novi Sad, Serbia, prior to which he obtained a degree in violin. In December of 2005, first material DEMO '05 was released, limited to 33 hand numbered copies while the very next month, January of 2006, album SLAVA PERUNU was recorded and published. Soon after, in March of 2006 album BRATSTVO SMRTI, limited to 66 hand numbered copies, was issued. During the summer, Rastko received a degree in music theory and piano/flute at the Music High School. While based in Stockholm on his Master studies in Cinema, Rastko traveled to remote parts of Middle East and and South/Central America in order to learn more about their cultures and gather more inspiration for further work.

Blues badass turned metal maven, Lisa Mann - mastermind behind White Crone - pays homage to metal forefather, Ronnie James Dio on his birthday, with a cover of Rainbow's Stargazer.
Based out of Portland, Oregon, White Crone is the metal brainchild of award winning blues artist and bassist / vocalist Lisa Mann. Growing up in the mosh pits of the 80s, she was inspired by bands such as Iron Maiden, Mercyful Fate, Black Sabbath, Manowar, Dio and more. A mostly one-woman project, White Crone is a love letter to this grand era of metal, and a lyrical homage to mystical storytelling traditions of yore.
Never losing the blues swagger, White Crone delivers traditional heavy Metal, with traces of prog, proto & black - rounded out with classic Dickinsonian female vocals.All of this culminated in the debut album “The Poisoner”. “The Poisoner”will take you “back to the day.”
Lisa Mann comments: “I was inspired to write metal songs a few years ago, after hearing the band Ghost during the Grammy voting process. I taught myself to play guitar and drums in order to record at home. After I had tracked several songs in my spare time, it occured to me that other people might want to hear this music as well. So I hired a professional drummer (Larry London) to record in a real studio (Opal Studio, Portland OR), added Mehdi Farjami and Vinny Appice to some tracks, painstakingly tracked my own guitar parts, and voila, White Crone was born. As a well known Contemporary Blues artist, I knew it was risky to dive into the field of metal, but I felt the need to pursue this dream. I really just wanted to make an album that I would have listened to when I was 16!”
This heartfelt cover of the classic Rainbow track was mixed and mastered at Opal Studio by Kevin Hahn. Lisa Mann performs on vocals and bass guitar. The bass and keyboard tracks were recorded at home by Lisa and her husband Allen (Bass Salad Studio). Blues Rock artist Alastair Greene (Santa Barbara, CA) plays guitar on the track. On keyboards is Eric Lawrence. The legendary Vinny Appice fills out the Stargazer lineup on drums. .
