Sentient Ruin is proud to announce their partnership with Italian blackened funeral/death-doom Behemoths Fuoco Fatuo via the release of “Backwater & Obsidian Katabasis”, an exclusive limited edition casette tape boxset of the band’s two most recent full-length albums: 2017's "Backwater" and the recent 2021 third album "Obsidian Katabasis", both issued on LP/Cd/digital formats by Profound Lore Records. Nihility was formed in 2012 in the city of Paços de Ferreira in Portugal. The band is composed by Mário Ferreira (Vocals), Luís Moreira (Drums), Renato Barbosa (Guitar/Vocals) and Miguel Seewald (Bass). Since its formation the band had a heavy influence of Death and Black Metal, a combination that eventually created the sound produced nowadays. Through trials and tribulations, and a few lineup changes, finally in 2019 Nihility put out its first studio record titled: Thus Spoke The Antichrist. Recorded in Braga (Portugal) at UltraSound Studios by Pedro Mendes and launched by Black Lion Records. Nihility's lyrical content are inspired in nihilism especially the works of Friedrich Nietzsche.

Myndsnare is a three-piece technical thrash metal band from Bangalore, well known for their highly energetic live performances during the early 2000s.

Gathering influences from Death, Cynic, Sadus, Slayer, the band writes ferocious music combined with twisted time signatures, all finished and rendered in an organic way, appealing to both new and old school metal fans.

REAPER RELEASE "REBIRTH OF CHAOS"

Unearthed Music is proud to present to you the new album from Liverpool based Prog/Thrash quartet Reaper.

Rebirth of Chaos (ROC) is a rerelease of the bands 2018 album Birth of Chaos in celebration of their 10 year anniversary, completed with their new line up and a vastly improved sound.

ROC is due out on 29 October 2021 on all streaming sites and can be pre-saved from here: Rebirth of Chaos (found.ee).

The band will be setting out on tour in support of the release of the album, starting with the free entry Rebirth of Chaos Launch Show at Grand Central, Manchester on the day of release.

Rebirth of Chaos is the reimagining of the original Birth of Chaos released in 2018, an album raught with engineering issues, line-up changes, and general life happenings that elongated the eventual drop. Birth of Chaos is seen by the band now as more of a lengthy EP, although not to dismiss the performances from the disc's clientelle, and has had the deepest breath of fresh air adjusted to it in ROC.

Songs written with all of the mid-teen thrash-loving angst weren't represented as purposefully on the initial production as the remaining founders, Daniel Moran and Anthony Capitano, would have liked. They circled back to the release with a fully functioning, determined line-up in Anthony Longworth and Elliott Kyriakides, and the engineering make-up of Stranger Than Fiction, Loic Gaillard returning to engineer the drum recordings and David Dyson to take the lead thereon.

What was once a fun but naive and brittle project of 80's bay area tropes and tricks in competently arranged material let down by an amateur mix - the result of Ant C and Dan working with what little resources they had to self-engineer from a kitchen in the early Feb-April morning hours - has been transformed into a barrage of devastating riffs, massive arrangements, and just the right amount of tongue-in-cheek attitude to give the audience the knowing nod.

Lyrical misteps have been overwritten, the endings have been reinforced to cataclysmic result, and all of the childhood nostalgia of over-the-top vocal performances and dual shred guitars has been rightfully injected.

We couldn't be more proud. This is Rebirth of Chaos.

Delving into the demonic underworld, Austrian black metal outfit IN CRUCEM AGERE are not afraid to dig deep into the dark elements of the human condition. Originally formed in 2010, the project encompasses a narrative exploring the darkness inside man for whom there is no hope of salvation.

"IN CRUCEM AGERE has been operating since 2010, drawing inspiration from human abysses and the darkness in men, and now, eleven years and two albums later, nothing, yet everything has changed. The band's bleak view on life and mankind is unbroken, and this new opus takes it to new musical levels. This is both a continuation, as much as it is a new beginning.
