About

Dedicated to the Cradle of Human Civilization, Ancient Sumer ! A Lamented Hymn for the gods we used to worship , though some still here that echo . It is said Humans were made a slave race for the Anunnaki God race . Anunnaki ( Those from Heaven they came ) . In our rebellion against the gods , attacking the garden of Eden in ancient Mesopotamia with alliance gods ! The Anunnaki nuke the garden of Eden , thus wiping out the first know civilization . Pockets of humans escape , and migrate . These stories and more are all written in clay tablets , unveiling truths we are just starting to learn . Are we to repeat our Nuclear extinction??

KEKAL RELEASE VIDEO FOR "BORN ANEW"

PRESS RELEASE:

Indonesian avant-garde/experimental entity Kekal just published a new Music Video "Born Anew".

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUvoM40Y5qY

This new single is the 2nd from the newly recorded material to later form the yet-untitled upcoming 2022 full-length album (the 1st single "Anthropos Rising" was released in November last year). Without being afraid to expand further into wider musical territories and different production methods, "Born Anew" also keeps the familiar approach to what Kekal has been known for years; with all the variety of musical expressions packaged within an individual track.

"Born Anew" is now available for free download/name-your-price on their Bandcamp page, and also accompanied with the Music Video which can be watched on YouTube. Streaming on various mainstream platforms will follow on February 2nd, 2022.

Thematically, the lyrics and video describe the process of ascension, which is currently happening on Earth at a faster rate; awakening, activating and upgrading the codes on human DNA that is manifesting as the transformation of our cellular structures from carbon-based to the crystalline-based in order to ready ourselves for higher dimensional holographic realities. The music video also shows the "mirror-aspect" in which the dark forces at the same time attempt to create the path of descension of humanity, towards their transhumanism agenda with the goal of total control and enslavement, by connecting programmable human DNA structures to the artificial-intelligence.

Kekal is known for its unusual and against-the-grain presentations within its musical spectrum to the point of controversy. Since its inception in 1995, they have moved toward multiple uncharted territories by blending elements from black metal, harsh noise, dark ambient, IDM, jazz, dub, and synth/wave music to name a few. The band is currently preparing for a new album, their 13th studio album, that is planned to be released sometime this year as they stubbornly continue to keep presenting limitless human expressions without setting the limits. For Kekal, musical exploration is considered as one important method of self-actualization. Even when people tag the band as avant-garde metal, experimental rock, progressive metal, electronic, or just plain "weird", none of these labelings could really describe the essence of Kekal's music.

AMOTH (FT. ENSIFERUM MEMBER) RELEASE "HOUR OF THE WOLF"

PRESS RELEASE:

The Lycans are howling out loud today with release of Finnish metallers Amoth's new album "The Hour of The Wolf" via Rockshots Records.

The band's roots are strongly founded on 80’s heavy metal, but branch out in different directions with elements from progressive rock, thrash, and even jazz brought to the table. “The Hour Of The Wolf” is the band's third studio album to follow to their previous recordings “Revenge” (2016), “Crossing Over” (2011), “Wounded Faith (EP) (2008).

This third full-length features Pekka Montin of Ensiferum once again as the lead vocalist and for the first time, there are also keyboards on an Amoth recording. Fans can expect insane vocals and virtuoso-like playing from all members of the band. The nine songs are very diverse, taking sudden twists and turns into unexplored territory. Amoth even offers up two Steve Vai / Joe Satriani-style instrumentals on this new full-length with tracks “Wind Serenade Part I” and “Wind Serenade Part II”.

“This is by far our best album yet! Superior performances from all of the musicians. Much better production and songwriting. It’s not a fast-food album. Some of the songs are quite complex so it takes probably more than one listen to really get into!” comments Amoth guitarist and main songwriter Tomi Ihanamäki.

Today, in celebration of the album's release, Amoth is sharing their latest music video for the record's opening track "Alice".

"The verse riff of this song was shown to me by Alice Cooper in my dream! I woke up and immediately wrote the riff down. That’s where the name of this song comes from, so thanks Alice! There are two main characters in this song: a stripper and her pimp. The lyrics are almost like a dialogue between those two. Very catchy and ”easy to get into” song with strong and memorable melodies. I knew this song needed an 80’s style chorus so that’s what it has." adds guitarist Tomi Ihanamäki.

DESASTER RELEASE VIDEO FOR "LEARN TO LOVE THE VOID"

PRESS RELEASE:

German Black Thrash unit Desaster have just released an official video for Learn To Love The Void, the opening track of their latest album Churches Without Saints, the album that was released June 4th last year by Metal Blade Records.

Click here to check it out: youtu.be/VdWEct0WwB8

Comments Desaster guitarist Infernal: "Enjoy our new video clip, filmed at one of the rare live concerts in 2021, PartySan Herbstoffensive in Weimar, Germany. It was great to enter the stage again, we hope you can feel the hellfire burning and learn to love the void!"

Stream the album and pick up your copies of Churches Without Saints at: metalblade.com/desaster

Desaster live:

18/03/22 BE - Aalst - Oilsjt Omploft

21/05/22 DE - Gladbeck - Metal Bash

11/06/22 PL - Kluczbork - Black Silesia

21/07/22 DE - Weil am Rhein - Baden In Blut

20/08/22 AT - Kaltenbach - Open Air

Since 1989, Germany's Desaster have been churning out their unique and unholy blend of extreme metal, and in 2021 they return with perhaps their most powerful album to-date, the towering Churches Without Saints. "It's a typical Desaster old school black-death-thrash metal album, with a lot of aggression, but also great atmosphere and epic tunes!" enthuses guitarist and founding member Infernal. With a simple remit of making an album full of "neck-breaking songs", the quartet have once again proven themselves leaders in their chosen genres, giving their faithful and newcomers alike plenty to salivate over.

With a five-year gap elapsing since they dropped last album The Oath Of An Iron Ritual, fans have had to be very patient, but will find the results more than worth the wait. This new effort also features Hont taking over behind the kit from previous drummer Tormentor, bringing a welcome change to the way they work. "He's a very skilled drummer and can play really anything. Whereas in the past the songwriting was a lot of 'trial and error' with testing many rhythms, we nowadays can work much more efficiently. Hont knows what rhythms fit to the riffs immediately. He has studied Desaster's music in detail and knows what works best, but he is not just copying Tormentor's style - he brings his own skilled style into the music, and also some new rhythms and figures. That of course brings some fresh wind into the songs."

The record was tracked in the band's rehearsal room and was recorded, mixed and mastered by their live mixer Jan "Janosch" Gensheimer. This led to a very relaxed atmosphere throughout the whole process, having rehearsed a lot prior to recording and also doing a full pre-production demo with their own equipment, meaning they could record very fast and without many mistakes. They did however change things up a little, sonically speaking. "It was a big goal for me to change the sound a bit," says Infernal. "Whereas the last albums had a very harsh sound, where the mid and high frequencies were dominating, I wanted a warmer and smoother sound this time. I always liked the sound of our 'Tyrants of the Netherworld' album from 2000 very much, and the new album is an effort to develop this sound with more details and different instruments. On 'Tyrants', we had the rough mud of deepest hellish caves, now we present you the black lava which is flowing around the throne of Satan himself!" And having achieved everything they set out to, Churches Without Saints definitively starts a new and exciting chapter in one of extreme metal's most consistently thrilling bands.

SARGASSUS RELEASE "THE ALBATROSS"

PRESS RELEASE:

Sargassus

'The Albatross'

Release Date: January 18, 2022

FFO: Gojira, Mastodon, Enslaved

Location: Finland

Sargassus was formed in 2012 by guitarist Teemu Leskinen and drummer Matias Rokio. Much of their time playing and practising together culminated in the band's debut EP "The Giant", which was finalized when Matias Stenman joined the band on vocals in late 2020. Soon after that, Mohammad "Aelian" Hallaji joined the band as their new bass player. Hallaji had moved to Finland from Iran to pursue his musical passion, and with the now completed lineup the band set out to compose and record new material. The single "Tiamat" was released in 2021, followed by a lyric video. Later in 2021, the band got to finally play their debut gig, at which they teased a new EP consisting of 3 songs. The EP, titled "The Albatross", was released in early 2022, featuring better production quality than ever before, as well as more ambitious compositions and a darker and gloomier atmosphere. Interestingly, most of the songs are composed intuitively in live jamming sessions by Rokio and Leskinen. Stenman is the crazy mastermind responsible for the poetic aspect of the songs and Hallaji brings his years of experience to wake up the low frequencies like no one else!

Primalfrost was formed in 2012 by Canadian musician Dean Paul Arnold when he was 15 years old. Dean is the sole composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist behind the band since its inception. Primalfrost’s sound combines melodicism/lush symphonic with the grit/power of extreme metal, taking influence from bands like Wintersun, Wolfheart, Stormlord, Septicflesh, & more.

Primarily a guitarist, Dean has performed hundreds of shows in 30+ countries across four continents. Primarily touring with American Death Metal band Vital Remains, and now Toronto’s own Operus, Dean has acquired hard-touring experience in a vast variety of settings. Dean has had dozens of guitar solo appearances on a wide variety of metal albums, including Polish death metal band Hate’s 2017 album “Tremendum” (Napalm Records) and for Colorado’s Buried Realm, alongside players like Teemu Mäntysaari (Wintersun) and Brandon Ellis (Black Dahlia Murder).

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and multiple lockdowns, the band has been brought out of hiatus allowing a new album to be recorded/released. Titled “Lost Elegies”, Dean has teamed up with Jonathan Lefrancois-Leduc (Blackguard, Ex-Deo) for mixing & mastering as well as Jan Yrlund (Manowar, Tyr, Korpiklaani) for artwork.
