Bio: The conjuring of Hanz Krypt occurred in the beginning of 1983 In Torrance California, when founding members Mark Hayes and Dave Schlom (original drummer) replied to an ad in Recycler magazine placed by Phil Pedretti, which read "lead guitar player looking for band". They all agreed to meet and jam, and the rest is history, Hanz Krypt was Born! Soon to be joined by John Cochran (Vermin, L.S.N., Granite Waves) on 2nd guitar and Robbie Wolfe on vocals. This lineup lasted 6 months until the direction that Hanz Krypt and the direction that John Cochran wanted to go was different. John preferring the newer speed thrash metal and Hanz Krypt who stayed true to their dark gloomy Black Sabbath roots. They parted ways with their friend John, and he went on to form the L.A. thrash metal band Vermin along with Vince Ferrantino on Vocals. Larry Farkas was added to Hanz Krypt as a second guitar player and both bands went on to play shows together in the LA area. Shortly after that they knew Vince was the front man vocalist, they were looking for, so they asked Vince to leave Vermin and join Hanz Krypt... the rest is history....

TALAS RELEASE NEW SINGLE: "INNER MOUNTING FLAME"

"There's nothing you can do to stop that inner mounting flame!" screams Phil Naro, the legendary voice of TALAS on the band's first track in 37 years. Today, TALAS return with the brand new song "Inner Mounting Flame," featuring vocals by the late TALAS frontman Naro, who passed away in May of 2021. The song is a tour de Force of hard rock teetering on metal! "Inner Mounting Flame" marks TALAS' first taste of new music since 1984's Live Speed on Ice.

Helmed by world renowned bassist Billy Sheehan, TALAS is a unique blend of 80's hard rock infused with the headbanging of modern metal. Cutting through this cacophony of sound is the unmistakable voice of the late Phil Naro who delivered a performance for the ages!

On the track, Sheehan explains, "Inner Mounting Flame is a bombastic, high-speed chaos of adrenaline that we would often use as our opening song at the live TALAS shows in 1985. We stayed close to the original arrangement - this was such a blast to record, and Phil sang his ass off on it. The song title came from a very famous fusion bands album title (The Mahavishnu Orchestra - Inner Mounting Flame), and was our take on what that flame might be about."

"Inner Mounting Flame" (produced by Billy Sheehan, Russ Mackay, Scott Bush and TALAS) is a rocker reminiscent of the Buffalo band's long storied history which began in the 1970's. He sat back in the old armchair and lit a cigarette, inhaling deeply. He always enjoyed this precious moment, what he liked to call ‘the aftermath’; the calm after the storm, the peace after the screams, the sensation of the blood drying on his skin as the adrenaline drained from his tired and heavy limbs. Just moments before this gore spattered island of tranquillity had been a cauldron of chaos and carnage; raging, begging, the hammer thudding against flesh, cracking bones...rending, ripping, completely and utterly dismantling and dehumanizing. Now there was just the silence, the delicious scent of slowly cooling entrails, the taste of tobacco and the glorious artwork of the arterial spray.

Relentless slamming brutality is how Texas Murder Crew describe themselves and never a truer word has been spoken, but they are more than that as well. This lethal unit stands out from the pack, weaving the most unsettling atmospheres into their extreme savagery, utilising subtle touches of synths and samples to bring added dimensions to their overwhelmingly brutal assault. The songs on Wrapped In Their Blood, the debut full length album from Texas Murder Crew, don’t just play out their vignettes of violence before you - they engulf you, swallow you whole, submerge you in the blood and terror to give a horrific, immersive listening experience. 2020s Everyone’s Last Breath EP showed enormous promise and thankfully the band have seized their opportunity and delivered everything that malicious opening gambit suggested that they could. With only two demos under their belt since inception in 2018, it may seem MALIGNANT ALTAR have been somewhat quiet by modern standards. This entity has not been slumbering or resting on their laurels, rather crafting the most fetidly obscene album imaginable. From its 80s horror influences; introducing a barrage of offal that festers in the phantasmal form of rotten riffing and drudging drums, layering themselves a thick and tarry swamp of instrumental decay. Vocally, the snarly puke that fits the malignantly mesmerizing riff-scape gloriously to ensure only the most befitting disgust emanates into your speakers from the altar of putridity. Now, some of these metaphors might lead you to think I am referring to a regressive band of simple playing ability and limited talent. This would be unforgivably far from the truth as the restless drumming and technically-edged riffs invoke the likes of Demilich amongst the flow of revolting hooks.

Thundering along, through five more typical tracks and a suitably spectral interluding instrumental, the momentum of this record is unforgiving and yet they do not forgo dynamics either. Two years incubation in the crypts of sentient slime and what lurches forth from the slumbering spew is nothing short of magnificent. These Texans have flavor in their death - which knows when to add flare or just ride out some obliterating groove until the neck is granulated from headbanging. Have your corpse and eat it?

Machine Gun Mayhem was formed in 2018 by Joe Robichaud and Ryan Barbin. Being prolific songwriters, these two started writing and jamming and soon found themselves with dozens of tunes. They set out to find the rest of the members who would become Machine Gun Mayhem. The duo added second guitarist Brent “The Black Goat of the Forest” Martino, Joe “Chippy” McPhee on drums, and Tim “The Butcher” Harrigan on bass. This proved to be the perfect lineup as the band found that not only could they play together, but they could write songs together. Wherever MGM plays, we bring the metal, the party, and the energy. The band believes a Metal show should be a spectacle; we want to leave the audience wondering what I just witnessed and where I can see more. Spring of 2022 will see the release of our first full-length album and a return to the stage!
