“We are beyond thrilled to present our very first self-titled EP to everyone. After years of hard work and dedication, as well as lockdowns and a few minor setbacks have only made us more prepared and we are finally ready to show you all what we’ve got. Having years of musical background and being good friends for years has added to the energy and chemistry we portray in our live performances. Our debut EP is just a taste of what we’ve accomplished so far as an unknown band in the last 3 years of forming, though we have much more in store coming very soon!

We’re inspired by so many different styles of metal from old school death metal to black metal to slam, it makes it interesting to tradeoff with each other and combines all the elements into one cohesive unit. Though we decided to take a different approach to lyrical content and have our focus on the terror behind psychological experiences and mental illness. We are trying to keep that old school death metal vibe alive to keep the old school fans excited and more hopeful that this genre will never die, while utilizing and embracing new genres, styles, and production that will capture the ears of the newer generations as well as open a whole new world to the old school fans”. - HARVESTED

MISANTROPHIA RELEASE VIDEO FOR "DIAMONDS"

The video of “Diamonds”, the new single from MISANTROPHIA, is available at this location. The track is now streaming on Spotify and on all digital platforms via Ad Noctem Records. The recording sessions took place at the VaulTKat Studio, under the guidance of Matteo Turla, former guitarist of the band. Davide Aroldi took care of mixing and mastering.

The video is by well-known videomaker Stefano Mastronicola.

The sound of MISANTROPHIA has no boundaries. While boasting roots in metalcore and deathcore, it is the result of a continuous musical research drawing influences from djent, classic heavy metal and electronics. A very emotional sound, often dark and negative, that the band aims to express with every single note.

TRAITOR TO RELEASE "LAST HOPE FOR THE WRETCHED" ON CD

Formed in the fall of 2012 and inspired by bands such as MOTORHEAD, JUDAS PRIEST, GWAR, ACCEPT, and GG ALLIN, TRAITOR are preparing to unleash their latest offering Last Hope for the Wretched on CD format on July 8th, through First Blood Family Records. 

TRAITOR released their debut EP Delaware Destroyers in late 2014, and embarked on a powerful journey to discover their sound. TRAITOR explores a wide range of themes from personal loss, political strife and war, as well as mutant heroes and cult movies. Not wishing to constrain themselves within the slim margins of what defines metal genres today, TRAITOR’s personal brand of heavy metal can range from thundering double bass and ripping speed riffs, to bass heavy single kick jams under a grooving solo. Further distinguishing TRAITOR from the masses is their twin vocal attack. Led primarily by Greg’s gruff traditional vocal style, they also bring out Joe’s death-thrash vocals for a back-up punch, as well as leads on their heavier songs.

TROG RELEASE "OF VOMIT REBORN" EP

Initially forming as a three-piece in 2019, TROG (formerly TROGLOROT), released their debut EP Cave Dweller in the same year. The following years led to developments in both the band's line-up and creative direction, and TROG are now ready to unleash the gory delights in Of Vomit Reborn on July 22nd, 2022.

TROG strive to deliver a savage old school death metal attack but with a more modern sense of precision, groove, and melody, entwined with an 80s horror vibe. The grisly outfit bleed inspiration from an array of acts across the extreme metal subgenres with notable mentions, CANNIBAL CORPSE, UNDEATH, early GOJIRA, DEATH, and MORBID ANGEL. Eerie electronics in the EP's "Intro" evoke a dramatic sense of foreboding before descending into the deadly depths. Bloodthirsty guttural vocals rise through the heavy instrumentation in "Horrific Irrational Dream Imagery" to a monstrous effect. Bringing high impact with the hard hitting sound of "Cosmic Parasite", through to the progressive melodies seeping through "Of Vomit Reborn".

The video of "Twisted Reality", the first single from "This is War", the new EP by ENEMYNSIDE, is available at this location. The song is now streaming on Spotify and on all digital platforms.

The recording sessions took place at the Kick Studios in Rome, under the wise guidance of Marco Mastrobuono (HOUR OF PENANCE, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, BUFFALO GRILLZ and many others), who was also entrusted with the mixing and mastering processes.

"This Is War" is a turning point for the members of the well-established Rome band, a new path that will lead them to publish the follow-up of the excellent "Chaos Machine" in the coming months; this release is an anticipation of the band’s renewed sound, full of aggression and anger, but still rooted in the band's well-established trademark.

Finnish-based Amongst the Ashes has released new EP named "The Fabricated Monolith", featuring cinematic and epic atmosphere, an array of different vocals styles, and fast-paced riffs. Persian Setar, a type of lute used in Persian traditional music, highlights the song with its unique sound that's very rarely heard in extreme metal music.

Amongst the Ashes was established in 2018 as the solo project of Aelian Hallaji who has been a long-time musician/songwriter in Iranian metal scene. The band’s music is mostly based on combination of fast-paced heavy riffs and eerie middle eastern themes as a background for Hallaji’s metaphorically pleading words. The first Single “Blood Red Hands” was released in August 2020, followed by “Agonizing Awakening” EP in September as a one-man band, which got superb feedback and was featured on many radio shows, worldwide. Since early 2021, Aelian has moved to Finland and invited very talented musicians from Tampere, to cooperate. This EP will introduce the band’s new chapter and feature familiar elements from the earlier releases coupled with all the more aggressive touch and world-class production quality.

YOMI NO KUNI is the second album by R.O.T. but it differs so much from the previous one that it can be considered a new debut.

The band almost completely abandons the melodic death metal atmospheres of 2018 and embraces a fresh and modern sound giving space to experimentation and the fusion of different sounds.

The base is metalcore/deathcore combined with electronic, rap, trap, and great use of sampling.

The album is an imaginary journey into "YOMI" the land of the dead according to oriental culture.

We meet dead people who tell their story and their sins, we meet Yokai (spirits of oriental culture) who will have the task of punishing sinners.

We try to explore every human instinct to give its own interpretation to the sins of which we are all capable.

The composition of the songs began during the 2020 lockdown... Louis states that at that time he had already finished a tracklist of about 10 songs which, however, he completely discarded after various second thoughts, choosing to approach composition and production in a totally new way.

The new songs (born in 2020 and 2021) have been continuously reworked, reinvented, and rearranged, up to a few weeks before the discs went to press.

The search for sound explores territories that are also very far from metal ... Like lofi, trap, edm and much more.

All the features present in the tracklist were fundamental to give new life to songs that were in a "dead" situation

The main inspirations for this record and for the research of the new sound are: Within Destruction, Paledusk and Bring Me The Horizon but also artists far from metal such as Bewhy, Marshmello, NF and many others

ROT was born in 2017 after Louis and Eddy split from their previous band. IDOL THRONE RELEASE "THE SIBYLLINE AGE"

Formed in late 2018 by guitarists Jason Schultz (Wraith, Mind’s Horizon) and Martin Bowman (Farwatch), Idol Throne is a band with a sonic mission and vision; the blending of elements from U.S. Power, Bay-Area Thrash, Neoclassical and Traditional Heavy Metal, combined with a progressive sense of songwriting and a strong focus on melody. 

Joined by drummer/percussionist Aaron Grove (Axxios) in early 2019, and vocalist Jake Quintanilla (Mind’s Horizon, Berith) in 2020, the band made the most of the extended downtime caused by the global pandemic and recorded demo “Proof of Life” in the Fall of 2020, which saw release on streaming platforms January 1st, 2021. The 3-song recording serves as an introduction to the band’s sound, and as a small taste of what to expect on the upcoming debut LP “The Sibylline Age” to be released on July 12th 2022.

With the addition of bassist Trevor Kuta (Xenopredator) in the Winter of 2022, and a full docket of live performances scheduled throughout the Midwest, Idol Throne is poised to become a name to know in the modern heavy metal scene.
