Of course the band will perform High Speed Metal on all shows listed including prestigious appearances at Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze Open Air.

When it comes to contemporary thrash, there are few bands that can stand toe-to-toe with Germany's VULTURE. Establishing their status with 2016's Victim To The Blade EP and 2017's The Guillotine, then cementing their reputation with 2019's Ghastly Waves And Battered Graves, they returned last year with the mighty Dealin' Death, one of the most ruthless records the genre has seen. "Take all our key elements - fierce riffing, halftone-shifts, aggressive vocals, huge toms, changing dynamics, horror-synths and classical twin guitar harmonies and cast it in a mould, then you have 'Dealin' Death'," says guitarist Stefan Castevet.

Since everyone in the group has a professional background, the members recorded their respective parts in all necessary tranquility in their own home studios. The material was subsequently mixed by the experienced all-rounder Guaitoli, and master Meek did a great job for it in his Groove Factory Studios - it simply doesn't get any fresher and crisper than this.

Lovers of classic, emphatically noble Power Metal will experience goosebumps and flights of fancy at the same time while listening, because "Chapter VII - Evil Awakens" can simply do everything.

The latest offering from the doom quartet delivers fuzz laden groove rhythms, dynamic riffs, and a progressive twist. Shrouded in an all encompassing gloomy atmosphere, Only The Dead Know Our Secrets is a smorgasbord of delicious distortion and heavy genre fusion.  

MOSARA is a Phoenix, Arizona based doom band that was originally formed and active during the early 2000’s. In late 2018, founding vocalist/guitarist, Tony Gallegos (ENIRVA/TWINGIANT) reformed the band. The new members included guitarist Nikos Mixas (TWINGIANT), bassist Kristoffer Reynolds (BEIRA) and drummer John Quin (AUTHORITY ZERO/SECRETS OF LOST EMPIRES). MOSARA’s sound is a doom foundation that melds several different genres of heavy music to include stoner metal, classic/prog metal and atmospheric sludge.

In the fall of 2020, MOSARA started recording their first full-length, self-titled album. Mosara was recorded and mixed sans any recording software. The release was raw, authentic, and heartfelt. Mosara was released in May of 2021 via Transylvanian Recordings and was well received among several heavy music blogs and websites. The band’s brand of “atavistic doom” was what set MOSARA apart from all the other bands in its subgenre. 

In 2021, bassist Kristoffer Reynolds left MOSARA and was replaced by Christopher Burns (HEX VOLT/BRIGHT SUNSHINE). The band immediately began writing material for their sophomore effort. Tracking commenced in March of 2022 and the new album, Only The Dead Know Our Secrets, is expected to be self-released in the summer. The album will be released on both vinyl and digital formats with the vinyl edition featuring a secret track.

REZET RELEASE VIDEO FOR "ALIEN NOISES" (FEAT. DESTRUCTION´S SCHMIER)

When Rezet´s most recent album Truth in Between effectively turned out to be a commercial nonstarter due to a certain virus, northern Germany´s finest in thrash quickly had to separate the wheat from the chaff… albeit not so much voluntarily as out of necessity. After amicably separating from guitarist Heiko Musolf and bass player Bjarne Otto, main composer, guitarist and singer Ricky Wagner shortly wondered whether he should put the band to rest but then decided differently. Contrarily, he set out to leave nothing to coincidence anymore, opting for a “no compromise” and do-it-yourself approach by continuing Rezet without label-support for the time being. This resolve triggered a burst of creativity, resulting in New World Murder, a four-track EP both revisiting the group´s roots as well as hinting towards a brighter future. Wagner and drummer Bastian “attt” Santen recruited four-stringer Lorenz Kandolf and second guitarist Jan-Erik Fischer to self-record three new songs as well as a flamboyant cover of Deep Purple´s proto metal classic ´Fireball´.

The material was then mixed and mastered by the band´s trusted sound engineer Eike Freese (amongst others Heaven Shall Burn, Helloween and, indeed, Deep Purple), with ´The Devil´s Bride´ being a perfect opener, blending acute Motörhead vibes with Ricky´s charismatic snarl and an almost Annihilator-esque playfulness, highlight the razor-sharp precision of Rezet´s new line-up. The rhythmically diverse, subtly melodic ´Dead End Walking´ is barbed with one of the catchiest riffs you may hear in 2022 and topped of by an atmospheric instrumental bridge whereas staccato earworm ´Alien Noises´ – featuring guest vocals by none other than German thrash pioneers Destruction´s front man Schmier – hits home even faster and will grace the soundtrack of the movie “Total Thrash”.

So there you have it: four smashers that sounds unpredictable and familiar alike, reflecting Ricky´s hands-on attitude. “In a way,” he concludes, “I see New World Murder in the spirit of Metallica, who also keep setting new goals for themselves, shedding their skin on a constant basis. Eventually, we reclaimed our joy in what we do simply by doing what we love without fulfilling expectations.” Old is the new New – so watch out and perk your ears for “The Great Rezet”!
