Corpse Profanation is a Venezuelan death metal band formed in 2020 by guitarist Alejandro Diaz and vocalist Maria Fernanda (Mafer) Guerrero, characterized by its raw sound in the pure style of 90's death metal.
Corpse Profanation emerged as a solo project by Alejandro Diaz while he lived in Lima, Peru, who, under the influence of bands like Morbid Angel, Terrorizer, Mortem and Deicide.

Having recently finished their hugely successful European tour, today BEYOND THE BLACK release their brand new, self-titled masterpiece Beyond The Black via Nuclear Blast Records. The band also delivers a new music video for the album focus track 'Free Me'.

German Symphonic Metal ascending stars BEYOND THE BLACK can already look back across a stratospherically successful career, despite their youthful years. Upon release, their 2015 debut album hit like a bomb in their home country. Songs Of Love And Death besieged the German Top 15 for weeks, which led to the band being awarded the Metal Hammer Award for “Best Debut” in 2015. Its successor Lost In Forever (2016) entered the German charts at #4 and paved the way for a huge tour throughout Germany, and across countries like the UK, Russia and Japan. Since the band’s live debut in 2014 they have played some of the world’s biggest Metal festival like Wacken Open Air (several times) and have toured as support to heavy weights such as AEROSMITH, KORN, SCORPIONS, SAXON and WITHIN TEMPTATION. During the campaign for their third record Heart Of the Hurricane (2018), BEYOND THE BLACK landed their first ever European headline tour, which took them across 10 countries, with most dates selling out.
Before they’d even finished the Heart Of the Hurricane touring cycle, BEYOND THE BLACK had already gone back to the studio to write and record album number four. The result was Horizons, released in June 2020, which entered the German album charts at #3 (CH #6, AT #16, BE #53) marking the band’s most successful album release to date.
Now, two years later, BEYOND THE BLACK are back to launch a new chapter. Following the release of recently highly acclaimed tracks 'Reincarnation', 'Is There Anybody Out There', 'Winter Is Coming' and 'Dancing In The Dark', the band release their new, fifth studio album – the self-titled Beyond the Black on January 13th 2023!
Greg Mackintosh and Nick Holmes have revealed the latest single from their brand new dark wave project HOST, a pulsing electronic single titled 'My Only Escape'.
The third single from their debut album IX, which will be released on 24th February through Nuclear Blast Records, 'My Only Escape' is yet another display of lush nuance that showcases the band's vast range of influences.
Vocalist Nick Holmes commented,
"Musically, this track has an intentional repetitive element that builds throughout the song, this is also mirrored in the lyric idea, as in the repetition of an everyday life held in such poor regard. The feeling of actually being physically scared, acts as an acceptable relief from day to day drudgery."
The origins of HOST do not trace back to the 1999 PARADISE LOST album bearing the same name but instead to the West Yorkshire music clubs of the mid-to-late 1980s. While Holmes and Mackintosh were already certified heavy metal fanatics (“metal thrashing mad” as Holmes equates), they were equally drawn to the New Wave and Goth music scenes. The pounding rhythms, sublime melodies and undercurrent of darkness drew them in, creating immediate earworms and a desire to delve further.
Mackintosh finally put plans into motion during the pandemic for a venture that would merge his penchant for sound design with the moods and atmosphere of 1980s dance-pop and Goth. The project was originally a solo pursuit until he asked Holmes, his longtime PARADISE LOST songwriting partner, to join. 'HOST' was selected as the name as a tip of the hat to the aforementioned album that found PARADISE LOST in an unprecedented period of experimentation that eschewed their metal roots and also challenged their fanbase in ways like never before.
“We always stood by 'Host' as an album,” says Mackintosh. “This project is not totally connected to that album, but some of the ideas are extrapolated. We’re taking the basic premise and trying it out now. And, really, it was something fun and interesting for us to do. We’ve been doing PARADISE LOST for a long time and got an itch to try something different from where PL is now. I could take PL down this route again. Who knows? It may happen if we live long enough, but I thought, ‘Why not now?’ I had the time to do it.”
The Finnish-Hungarian-Greek powerhouse BEAST IN BLACK kick off the new year with a brand-new video release for 'Blade Runner', another single from their critically acclaimed latest album Dark Connection. The live performance video, which perfectly captures the band’s mesmerising stage energy, was shot at Rock The Lakes festival in Vallamand, Switzerland, on August 21st 2022. The video was directed by Damien Dausch from Psyrus Studio.
“We returned to Damien Dausch, the ‘king of live video recordings’, to shoot a new music video for the opening track of our latest album, Dark Connection. His unparalleled skills place the watcher in the front row, and even on stage, while we play the explosive track ‘Blade Runner’.”

Throne of Flesh is a death metal band formed during summer 2018 by Flavio Tempesta on guitars, Giuseppe Tato Tatangelo on bass and Joseph Di Porto on vocals and Alessandro Di Meco on drums
The band has recorded their first ep/demo “DOGMA”, 4 tracks of pure death metal influenced by early Morbid Angel, Deicide, Entombed, Autopsy, Death, Gorefest, Asphyx. An anthem against the main religions that are infecting this dying world since so far.
In 2022 The band returns with their second ep called “DUST”, a new journey through the cult of the dead and the funeral rituals from the view of different cultures and populations around the world, back to the roots of Autopsy, Morbid Angel, Entombed, Death, and all the prime movers in the beginning of the '90.
These songs are attempts from 2020 and 2021. Unfinished or half-finished songs. I will never finish it because I have long forgotten what I used in them. I hope you like it.
