CARNAL TOMB from Germany's chaotic and vibrant capital city Berlin deliver their eagerly awaited third album, which is entitled "Embalmed in Decay" and perfectly channels the spirit of old school death metal. Slightly shorter tracks, fast forward blast beats, and their characteristic doom-driven passages all add up to a contemporary version of classic death metal that will cement the German's status as one of the hottest young acts of this most brutal genre. CARNAL TOMB took inspiration from the works of H.P. Lovecraft as well as gore and zombie movies such as Amando de Ossorio's 1972 genre classic "Tombs of the Blind Dead", and old Italian funeral places called 'putridarium', in which the corpses of the deceased were left to rot. These themes have also inspired the morbid cover artwork of "Embalmed in Decay" by the artist Skaðvaldur. CARNAL TOMB were formed in Berlin in 2014 out of a hunger for old school death metal that possessed all band members. Besides a remarkable number of demo recordings, EPs, split and single releases, their two full-lengths "Rotten Remains" (2016) and "Abhorrent Veneration" (2019) earned the band an excellent reputation in death metal circles around the globe. With the putrid death metal horror of "Embalmed in Decay", CARNAL TOMB raise the blind dead from their tombs and unleash these monsters and other brutal evils upon an unsuspecting world.

‘The Quest into the Darkness Realm’ takes us back to Lord Mortuorum’s
earliest two releases when Calderum was soley a Dungeon Synth project.
The projects debut release was the self-titled EP ‘Calderum’. The 5-track EP speaks of the plotting nature of man, hidden away behind castle walls, and the peaceful melancholy of the world outside.
The follow-up to Lord Mortuorum’s debut would come in February of 2020 with the release of ‘The Solace Path’. This would originally be released as it’s own EP but the tracks would appear a month later on a three-way split between Calderum, Caverna and Lord Orots. ‘The Solace Path’ focuses on on a sorcerer who lived in the depths of a torture tower.

After a several month long break to work on side projects, Resurrected Divinity kicked back into full force in January of 2021. A second full length album that had been laying in limbo for months was released almost immediately. Following this, the Saint Isidore And Moses The Black EP was released, bridging the gap between the style of the second full length and the style of material to come, and then the project continued with an updated sound as work on the third album began. Concepts, titles, and artwork would change a multitude of times throughout the process of the album, which took over a year and a handful of tracks during these sessions would be used on other releases such as the Dead World Ep in April of 2021, but ultimately enough material was amassed to create two full lengths. My goal was to put out the heaviest blend of Christian-themed slam and goregrind I possibly could create, and this is the result.
