New german thrash metal persuaders BREED’s crushing debut "History Of Tomorrow".

Recorded at singer Vince’s own Taurus Sound Studio, Luka Matković of Serbian colleague thrashers Quasarborn provided mixing and mastering at his Citadela Sound Studio in Belgrad and succeeded in giving BREED‘s music a modern but characteristical sound that underlines the originality of their compositions.
With the support of their record label Doc Gator Records BREED is set to become a permanent force on the heavy metal landscape.

For those who want to listen to anger and energy in their purest form, they quickly think of TERROR. For those who want to listen to pounding or apocalyptic thrash riffs with hardcore as in 90s metalcore, they quickly think of ALL OUT WAR or MERAUDER. LIES! from the Netherlands combines both forms and puts it in its own style. A very robust style and truly extremely hard-hitting. It sometimes reminds one of SIMULAKRA. "Mind Pollution" is overwhelming, all packaged in a very compactly written full-length album recorded at 3181 Studio. The song "Propaganda" features the singer from the French metallic hardcore metal band Worst Doubt. If there's one band in the Dutch scene poised to carry on the legacy of Born From Pain, Hawser and No Turning Back it is LIES! If you've ever seen them live you know they can completely tear up the floor with guaranteed moshing. Don't expect beatdown galore but pure rage.
The cover of this record depicts an enormous vortex in a lightning storm. It crushes and devastates a city and you can see brains emerging from the surface. It would refer to what you hear when you put this record on, but it also alludes to the lyrics about the chaos in the head caused by the immense pressure we put on ourselves, the disconnect from the world by desire, fear of missing out and needing too much. All stimuli kill our brains; it destroys humanity, as you witness and hear here. Credits to Hugo Zerrad the artist who completed this 9-track metallic hardcore vortex called "Mind Pollution".

About the album:
"In the midst of our chaotic lives, a form of pollution has emerged – ‘Mind Pollution.’ This pollution warps our thoughts and perceptions, driven by constant urges and misleading influences, all fueled by an unending need for connection. The fear of missing out and the fear of loss perpetuate this cycle. Within our minds, a storm rages — a tornado of anger, opinions, and external influences. This mental turmoil threatens our core beliefs and even our ability to reason. In the midst of this turmoil, we risk losing our true selves, pulled away by external forces. This internal storm can be overwhelming, capable not only of shattering our world but also leading to complete estrangement or even more dire consequences".
The internal storm portrayed in the album cover — an enormous vortex in a lightning storm crushing a city with brains emerging — parallels the chaos depicted in the lyrics, exploring the impact of pressure, desire, fear, and neediness on human cognition and the potential destruction of humanity.

In 2019 "Darkness Devour", their first album, revealed the potential of Flukt, a Norwegian act devoted to aggressive black metal. Four years later, they're ready to unleash their second effort, "Omen Ov Darkness".
Flukt are capable, through the eight tracks of "Omen Ov Darkness", to create a solid blend of two of the major schools of black metal sound from Scandinavia. There's the violence and the rawness of Mayhem and Gorgoroth, but also an evident attention to dark melodies of acts such as Setherial and the never forgotten Dissection.
"Omen Ov Darkness" was Mixed and mastered by Audun Grønnestad at Mayhem Music studio (www.mayhem-music.com) and the dark cover artwork was done by Moonring art design.
The lyrics are dark, rooted in pessimism, introspection and self-destruction, but they also deal with cultural and historical themes such as Second World War, religious myths and occultism. The first two singles, out at the end of August and September, clearly demonstrate that, though they can be considered loyal bearers of the tradition, Flukt deliver a refreshing personal take of the Scandinavian sound!

UK deathsters Malediction return from a long recording hiatus with their new masterpiece "The Soil Throne". This new 6 track release is available on all formats - vinyl (in black or splatter), CD and tape from Cosmic key Creations and Macho Records.
The band were major players in the worldwide underground scene in the late 80s and early 90s having released several EPs and comp tracks and gigging across the UK with the likes of My Dying Bride, Bolt Thrower, Benediction and a host of other metal royalty. Jump forward to 2016 and the band reformed with 4 of the original members to release the 15 track CD compilation "Chronology of Distortion" on Dark Blasphemies Records.
It’s been 30 years since the band released new recordings and here it is! The Soil Throne represents Malediction at their most brutally powerful. Featuring 2 brand new tracks and updated versions of both old and mid era songs with an unparalleled production this release really does catapult Malediction very much back into the scene and demos the band at their very best. Retaining 3 original members plus new additions on bass and drums, Malediction are preparing to gig in 2024 and they already have some shredding new material ready for the debut album!
New tracks "The Omerta Masquerade" and "Black Narcissus" feature a wall of multi tracked guitars, stunningly impactful solos, haunting melodies and guttural vocals. The mix of pounding double bass, manic fast blast beats and moments of true atmospherics really make these tracks stand out as the most accomplished musicianship the band has realised to date. Re-imaginings of the older tracks finally do justice to the Malediction classics, giving them the epic production they deserve. ''In the end, after all is said and done, there is only darkness. No light, no hope, just the endless void of nothingness. Life, with all its complexities, is simply a fleeting moment in the grand scheme of things. It means nothing. Everything we do, all the struggles, the love, the laughter, and the pain- it's all for nothing.
We strive to achieve, to find purpose and meaning in our existence, but it's all an illusion. In the end, nothing we do matters, and we are all destined to the same fate, death. Death is the only real thing in this world. It is always waiting, looming in the shadows, ready to snatch us away.
The universe doesn't care about us. It is indifferent to our struggles, our beliefs, and our ideas. Our egos and our sense of self-importance are meaningless. All of our efforts and accomplishments will eventually fade into nothingness, forgotten by time.
Many try to find solace in religion, but they offer no real answers. There is no ultimate meaning to existence, no grand design, no benevolent god watching over us.
In the end, all we can do is accept our fate. We can find solace in the fact that we will eventually be swallowed by the great void and become one with the universe. Until then, we must live our lives with the knowledge that everything we do is ultimately meaningless.

OBSIDYEN is a Black Metal band founded in Albi (81) in 2019. Their first musical attempts revolved around biblical mythologies, before slowly shifting towards the « Ancient Astronaut Theory », popularized by Erich von Däniken in 1968.
According to this theory, humanity has been visited by non-human beings in the past.These traumatic anthropological and technological encounters led to the creation of polytheistic religions and myths in antiquity.
OBSIDYEN transcribes these subversive subjects through massive and powerful riffs, coupled with liturgical cold melodies, resulting in an atmospheric harmony that adventures the listener into the lands of the past, the stars and beyond.
The band released their first self-produced album, "ANTEDILUVIAN SCRIPTUM" in 2020, with subjects including Mesopotamian and Sumerian cultures, the Old Testament or the myth of Atlantis.
Very soon after the release of this first album, Omega has created a mythological trilogy based on the "Cult of the Serpent" around the world.
The first episode is called "LITANY OF IAH", and takes place in ancient Egypt.
The album, whose artwork was designed by Macchabée Artworks, was produced by Omega, then mixed and mastered by Nikos Palivos (Haunting Studios).
