‘The 3rd Dimension’ is the anticipated follow-up to 2020’s ‘Delirium,’ one of the best and consistent sellers at M-Theory Audio that even received a nod from Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine who championed the group as a promising thrash hopeful, alongside Power Trip. ‘The 3rd Dimension,’ was mastered by Johnny Gasparic (Into Eternity) and features cover artwork once again by Andrei Bouzikov (Municipal Waste, Toxic Holocaust, Skeletonwitch).
“Thank you all for being so patient with us while we worked on the band as a whole and the new album over the last few years,” states Dylan. “We really can’t wait for you to hear it. This is for you -- the fans, the underground.”
HAZZERD was initially formed by Westendorp and guitarist Brendan Malycky, two Calgary teens who were inspired by the early work of thrash legends such as Overkill, Metallica and Anthrax. After solidifying their lineup with the addition of lead guitarist Toryin Schadlich (also of Traveler) and bassist David Sprague, the group recorded their full-length debut, “Misleading Evil,” which was released via Canada's World War Now Records. The record was praised by Metal-Temple.com as “one of the strongest thrash releases of 2017,” while Dead Rhetoric called the album “an exhilarating aural ride” with a “Maiden/Priest-meets-early Metallica vibe.”
HAZZERD caught the attention of M-Theory Audio who snapped up the promising outfit and released ‘Delirium’ in 2020 taking the band to the next level and getting great critical response including Sonic Perspectives calling it “an album that embodies the best of thrash and heavy metal,” while Metal Injection wrote “rip-roaring… leaves absolutely no survivors in its wake.”
Earlier this year, HAZZERD were invited to contribute two exclusive songs, “Skin Peeler” and “Stella Screams,” in collaboration with author Julie Hiner from Killers & Demons for her horror book project, ‘Thrash Track.’ Hazzerd wrote the music to Julie’s lyrics for an experimental side adventure.
In recent years, HAZZERD has performed alongside the likes of Hatchet, Striker, Vicious Rumors, Archspire, Spellcaster and Grim Reaper in addition to playing noted Canadian festivals such as Loud As Hell and Armstrong MetalFest. Watch for more live show announcements soon.

FINAL SIEGE RELEASE "NUCLEAR DOOM STATE"

The concept behind Nuclear Doom State was to shed light on what we are experiencing in societies worldwide. The corrupt governments, the top 1% of the wealthiest individuals in the world, religious institutions, and social media platforms all play a hand in our collective suffering. The title track of the album serves as a sort of premonition of what’s to come if we continue down the path we’re currently on. Meanwhile, W.A.R. is more of a rallying cry for the middle and poorer classes to unite and change the current state of our lives. Stylistically this album was heavily influenced by bands like Death, Exodus, Power Trip, Slayer, and Gojira. It took a little less than a year to complete the album even with a lineup change in 2022. When our newest members Rob Maldonado and Ameer “TheBeheader ”Aljallad joined the band in April of 2023 we immediately went to work on all the songs that had been written over the years that would make up this album. Together we came up with some great ideas for the songs to have them reach their full potential. Rob himself even contributed to the album with his song titled Primordial Combat which was influenced lyrically by the anime series Baki Hanma

On a cold February day in 2018, Gil Vives, Randy Reiser, and Amir Jairazbhoy began discussing their musical journey over some beers in a New York City bar. The trio soon started writing what would ultimately become their debut album, March To Your Grave. They completed their lineup with the addition of George Garcia in October 2018. Two months later, they played their first show together to a sold-out crowd at Gussy’s Bar & Grill in Queens, NY, under the name Final Siege. The band released their debut album, March To Your Grave, independently on August 6, 2021.
In November 2022, co-founding members Amir Jairazbhoy and Randy Reiser took a step back as the band moved into its next phase of development. By April 15, 2023, Final Siege had solidified their new lineup with Ameer "The Beheader" Aljallad on drums and Rob Maldonado on guitar. The band’s musical influences include Death, Thrash, and Groove metal, and their lyrics explore themes of rebellion, war, and the mental toll of living in a conflict-ridden world. Final Siege has performed alongside national acts such as Suffocation, Atheist, Wrath, Enforcer, DRI, and Warbringer.

LIQUID FLESH RELEASE "VESTIGES ABRUTISSANTS"

French death metallers LIQUID FLESH will release a new EP, "Vestiges Abrutissants” (mind-numbing vestiges), in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of their formation. The EP is due out on December 13th 2024.
On the EP, the band delivers an inimitable hybrid of gritty basement-bred death metal boosted by sleazy grease and explosive unpredictability.

“Unchallenging music for drunk musicians”
This was the driving force behind the creation of LIQUID FLESH 10 years ago, In 2024. The band was tired of the long rehearsals and tedious composition sessions with their other bands, which made progress feel slow and monotonous. They wanted something raw, direct—a sound that embraced simplicity without pretension, perfect for the energy they were craving. This was the background to the band's debut album “Spontaneous Liquefaction”, released in 2016.
The band formula has been tightened up with the arrival of Putrid Bruce on bass and vocals, who has given the band a new lease of life: while retaining its original impact, the band offers more convoluted structures on “Chair Liquide” (2020, Metal is the Law Records) before moving on to a concept album with “Dolores” (2023, Time to Kill Records). Nonetheless, some tracks from the first album, like “Tenafly Viper” and “Human Soup”, have never left the band's setlist. For the band's 10th anniversary, LIQUID FLESH have chosen to re-record these tracks.
This anniversary is the occasion for an update. French lyrics having taken their place with the arrival of Putrid Bruce, the songs have been completely translated and reworked. The music has also been rearranged, but the biggest improvement lies in the mixing work of Gastric Luke, the band's jack-of-all-trades (that takes care of the composition, mixing, artwork…), who has gained 10 years of experience: the sound is more powerful, incisive and perfectly honoring the old-school death metal sound.
A celebration is never without its share of surprises: this is the opportunity to introduce the band's new drummer, Acid Bapt, with his precise and dynamic playing, who joined the band barely a year ago. It is also the occasion to pay tribute, with a cover of the classic Entombed track “Eyemaster”—also translated in French—and a new version of “Police Python 666”, originally recorded during the COVID period and released on the “We Are French Fuck You n°3” compilation.
With its EP “Vestiges Abrutissants” (mind-numbing vestiges), LIQUID FLESH offers us a link between its past and present history like vivid and meaningful memories observed in the rear view mirror. Take a seat, It’s time to open one again!

Belonging to the first Spanish black metal wave, and to the Catalan movement known as Blackcelona, Blazemth are survivors of their time who continue to pay homage to the purest and most traditional black metal. Now Volkhaar and company present Gehenna, a new album that will be released on December 23 on CD, LP and digital thanks to the Negra Nit label.
Recorded and mixed by Eloi Boucherie (Vidres A La Sang, White Stones) at his Farm Of Sounds studio, the mastering has been done by another monster, Gerard Porqueres at Heartwork Recording. The result is an organic and deep work that hits you with all the sincerity of their primordial black metal, an album that perfectly takes over from the also bloody The Return Of Lucifer (2022).
With a cover and artwork by Manda, Gehenna is eclectic without departing from the strictest black metal, presenting melodies that can remind you of Sweden or thrashing outbursts that relate it to Absu. Besides, this beast shows several peculiarities... For example, the intro of the first song, ‘Enok’, is written by Búfal (ReDimoni, Drakum, ex-Ktulu or Asgard) and sung in Serbian, while the second part of ‘Nifelheim’ also leaves English aside to use Norwegian.
As if that wasn't enough, ‘To The Valley’ is a new and absolute reinterpretation of their classic ‘To The Valley Of Wind's Master’, a track from their seminal EP For Centuries Left Behind (1995).
This Christmas will be blasphemous, because Blazemth will plunge us into the Reign of Shadows with a great album that lives up to their legacy.

Breaking the silence of seven years, LIBERATOR, one of the core bands from the depths of විරෑපී (VIRŪPI), makes a long-awaited return to form with Promo 2024, a prelude to the forthcoming debut full-length, set to release in 2025. Promo 2024 will be released on cassettes and digital (Bandcamp) via VIRŪPI on 13 December 2024.
Formed by RAVULU back in 2008 in Sri Lanka, conceived in tandem with Shokaagni and another related project bearing the sacred name of Death, LIBERATOR spent nine long years in gestation, slowly manifesting its true form, unaffected by trends and solely devoted to its own sound and vision. In 2016, with operations already shifted to Canada and Murmur joining on drums, LIBERATOR began to slowly raise its specter from the depths of the shadows, unveiling its only release to date—an instrumental demo in 2017.
With Promo 2024, the duo returns at last with a swift drop of the blade—a first draw of blood.
A crude, primal assault of only bass and drums, commanded by the fiend-invoking, surreal howls, the three-track offering is primitive yet steeped in visceral, unsettling intensity. Promo 2024 stands as a forewarning of the chaos that lies ahead.

The word "Druparia" is a pseudo-synonym for the blackthorn plant that plays a part in some circles of occultism and witchcraft, and fits into the band's visual and lyrical themes of nature and mysticism. Other lyrical themes include sadness, regret, mythology, and perseverance through hardship.

BIO:
Druparia formed with members of past bands in the Cleveland area coming together to make new music. Ideas for The River Above have been brewing since about 2011, maybe even earlier and thanks to some gracious friends outside of the band who have contributed and allowed the ideas to live on, the songs have finally come to fruition. Tyler Clark (ex-Inoculation, Mythrias, Once Flesh) came together with old Apothean bandmate Kyle Taylor (ex-Monastery) who had found young drummer Noah Van Dyke (Sea Biscuit) in November 2018. Once Flesh vocalist David Moran had agreed to do vocals if ever a project was started and Druparia had begun. After a few rehearsals, Josh Gatka (ex-Mythrias, Eternal Legacy) was recruited as guitarist the following summer and a full lineup was formed and the band released their first demo entitled Alfhem in the spring of 2020.
Influences include but are not limited to Dark Tranquillity, Darkest Hour, Sylosis, Sacramentum, Insomnium, Fallujah, Mors Principium Est, Inferi, Children of Bodom, and whatever weirdness Noah happened to be listening to at the time.
