UNDIGNIFIED CAVE RELEASE "PARADISE LONG GONE"

PRESS RELEASE:

Paradise Long Gone

by Undignified Cave

Tracklist:

1.Sentinel of the Winds 07:17

2.Primal Hunger 09:21

3.Beneath the endless sky 07:09

4.The last one on earth (Asphyx Tribute) 09:44

This EP is a roar from Undignified Cave, an echo of the approaching times. It is no longer about distant predictions or cold calculations—the planet responds, with fury and despair, to the assaults imposed upon it. Torrential floods engulf continents in wrath; suffocating heat devours the seas, turning their depths into a scalding mirror; the poles, which for millennia guarded the world’s memory, now dissolve like the tears of a vanquished titan.

Nature, once a generous mother, has become a relentless judge. Yet this is no vengeance—only a response. The executioner will be obliterated, not out of hatred, but by the inevitability of time. The future will bring no screams, no pleas—it will bring silence. An exhausted world will find its peace not in harmony, but in absence. Where life once flourished, only stillness will remain. The once-vibrant paradise will become a desert without witnesses.

OPHIDIAN MEMORY SIGNS WITH WORMHOLEDEATH RECORDS

PRESS RELEASE:

Iowa’s own melodic death metal force, Ophidian Memory, helmed by the visionary Blake Lamoureux, has joined forces with Wormholedeath to bring the dark brilliance of Carrion Lord to new audiences. The album is set to drop on 21 March 2025, marking an exciting chapter in the project’s evolution.

"Ophidian Memory is pleased to announce that it has signed with WormHoleDeath to bring Carrion Lord to the physical realm!" said Blake "As a solo project, it can be difficult to handle everything that comes with being a band and a business at the same time, and WormHoleDeath will help tremendously in my reach and output."

The Vision Behind Ophidian Memory

Ophidian Memory, born from the creative mind of Blake Lamoureux, uses a foundation of melodic death metal while seamlessly blending subgenres like black metal, thrash, progressive metal, and metalcore. Each album unfolds tales set in a sprawling fictional universe, where beings of light and dark are locked in eternal conflict—plotting to destroy humanity, each other, and Existence itself.

Exploring "Carrion Lord"

"Carrion Lord" is a dive into the dark and brutal, a relentless morphing display of new territories for Ophidian Memory, as well as brief moments that hearken to previous stages of its sound. Contextually, it is a record that expands in-depth on the narrative aspect of Existence, with new characters, factions, and locations to build a world primed for fantasy and metal enjoyers alike. It is a product of passion that shows the growth of Ophidian Memory over the last three years and is but another bar to reach above for the next record.

Sonically, "Carrion Lord" captures the raw aggression and intricate melodies fans expect while showcasing a fearless exploration of new dimensions. This release solidifies Ophidian Memory as a project that blends intensity, narrative depth, and an evolving sound.

EVIG NATT’s music is aggressive but subtle, noisy yet beautiful, a maelstrom of symphonic darkness that could only be described as Orchestral Gothic Doom Metal. From the unholy metal grounds of Karmøy, west Norway, this band follows in the footsteps of Einherjer and Enslaved, featuring ex-band members of both.

EVIG NATT was started as a studio project in 2003, by vocalist Kirsten Jørgensen and bassist Stein Sund. Soon after that, EVIG NATT recruited drummer Harald Magne Revheim.

In 2006 EVIG NATT signed with Omvina Records, and released their highly acclaimed debut album «I Am Silence» in early 2007.

EVIG NATT added Oskar Naley on vocals, Ruben Osnes, and Arne Marton Tangjerd on guitars for the recording of their darker and heavier second offering. After signing with Black Bards in 2009 “Darkland” was released to raving reviews in April 2010. This alliance saw EVIG NATT featured in national magazines worldwide, including Metal Hammer and Scream.

EVIG NATT released their third self-titled album «Evig Natt» on March 19th, 2016 and off the back of that got to tour countries such as Belgium and Japan.

EVIG NATT’s sound is unique, blending everything from progressive metal to black metal, and incorporates inspiration from bands like Anathema, My Dying Bride, Swallow The Sun, and The Provenance. This is a band to keep an eye out for!

MAISON DIEU RELEASE "HERBACEA"

PRESS RELEASE:

Band: MAISON DIEU

Album (EP): Herbacea

Country: Italy

Genre: Mystic Doom

Label: Sliptrick Records

Release date: March 4th, 2025

MAISON DIEU Embrace The Wilds On 'Herbacea'

Herbacea is the first EP by Maison Dieu and includes 4 tracks linked together through the magic of plants. In fact, the songs tell of 4 plants in particular: Ivy (Edera), calla lily (Calla), mandrake (Mandragola) and sage (Musica, terra e salvia).

The EP begins with an intro characterized by the sound of the shamanic drum, an intro that the band usually plays at the beginning of each concert and that connects to the first song Edera.

Herbacea is characterized by sounds that lull and temper the soul in the Maison Dieu style with real musical contrasts within each song; psychedelic sounds, flashes of metal and doom, combined with lyrics that go from the hermetic poetry of Mandragola to the songwriting of Musica, terra e salvia. Maison Dieu’s music is constantly evolving and this EP is just a preview of what we could hear in the future.

All the songs were recorded and mixed by Michele Bellagamba at the Fleuer Bleue studio.

Tracklist:

01. Intro | 02. Edera | 03. Calla | 04. Mandragola | 05. Musica, terra e salvia

EXILED HOPE RELEASE "APOCRYPHA"

PRESS RELEASE:

Exiled Hope

Apocrypha

11 April 2025

Maryland-based blackened power metal artist EXILED HOPE is excited to announce the release of Apocrypha, the third installment of its ongoing musical narrative, set for release on April 11th, 2025. This twelve-track album follows a new protagonist who seeks guidance from familiar (yet otherworldly) forces as he uncovers the truth about the path to success laid out before him, further expanding the story EXILED HOPE has crafted.

“The Summoning” is the track that opens the album, showcasing the struggles and deep battle ahead for the protagonist, setting a preface for the upcoming melodies. “The Day Will Come” and “Blood Of The Ancients” follow suit, melodically taking inspiration from the likes of KAMELOT and NIGHTWISH to add softer tones of suspense. On a lighter note, “Dreamwalker” introduces variety and balances the album’s heavier songs through a two-part ballad, featuring Metal Matt as the first guest appearance in the discography. “Over For You” swiftly transitions into a unique blend of folk and melodic death metal, featuring rapid guitar riffs and empowering lyrics.

“Altar Of Moloch” is the second song with a cameo, Imperator Mortem, and is the “call to action” of this album, giving a sobering to the protagonist for the second half of his treacherous trek.  “The Silence Is Deafening” depicts a lovers’ quarrel, with two conflicting perspectives that create a sense of distance, confusion, and resentment—emotions that drive the protagonist through the second phase of their journey. “Behold My Shattered Skies” takes a complete 180 from the overall nature of Apocrypha, embracing a full folk style infused with hints of synth, drawing inspiration from the video game The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt.

The longest track on the record is “Deathslayer”. At 8 minutes and 11 seconds, “Deathslayer” gives contrast to the vocals, with layers of growls and lighter choral layers, and shows the protagonist’s inner power being used to its fullest extent. “Lightborn” is a love letter to the bands that heavily inspired this album. With sweet synths and hard hitting riffs, this song also serves as an inspiration to choose the higher path and recognize one’s worth.

“Remnants” is a strictly instrumental piece of ambience, the calm before the storm that is the finale, “Forbidden Majesties”. “Forbidden Majesties” closes out Apocrypha perfectly, wrapping up the ambience with notes of both heavier and lighter styles, giving the natural conclusion this album deserves.

Sofia, the visionary behind EXILED HOPE, comments on the album “The release of Apocrypha represents 3 years of practice, exploration, trial and error, learning, and a lot of overthinking. I started working on this album in July 2021, then realized that I didn't have the skills I needed to create the music I wanted to create. After I released "Dreamwalker" as a single in April 2022, I took a short hiatus from working on original music to sharpen up my skills, take lessons, and play around with making covers as practice. During this time, I also started law school, which was such a huge time commitment that I didn't touch my guitar for the entire fall semester in 2022. I started working on music again during winter break, since I didn't feel like myself when I completely stepped away from it, and had learned better time management skills at that point. That knowledge resulted in the release of several more singles to generate attention for the album in 2023 and 2024, and I can finally, confidently say that I have a cohesive work that I am proud of, after years of nitpicking it endlessly. The songs each have their own unique character, given the long time span over which I nitpicked and tinkered with them, but they also flow together like chapters in a book or scenes in a movie. That's what I think makes a great album: songs that stand out on their own while carrying the album through their pacing and placement. Apocrypha feels detailed and relatable, yet larger-than-life, and I hope you enjoy the journey of listening to it as much as I enjoyed the journey of creating it. Creating music is about the journey as much as it is about the destination, or the final product.”

About EXILED HOPE:

Multi-instrumentalist Sofia Frasz established EXILED HOPE in 2019, and draws musical inspiration from the likes of AVANTASIA, NIGHTWISH, KAMELOT and CRADLE OF FILTH to name a few. EXILED HOPE’s releases all take place in the same fictional universe and combine to form a dark fantasy metal opera. Each album centers on a character dealing with both an internal and external conflict in this world, and the lyrics explore how they navigate those conflicts. This is intended to provide some kind of escapism through the lyrical world building, while still keeping the songs grounded in real, relatable emotions despite their fantastical setup. EXILED HOPE is working towards the next album, Apocrypha, due to be released April 11th, 2025. Through EXILED HOPE, Sofia has composed music for two short films, Hallowed Paths and What Happens After Midnight, and has collaborated with UK melodeath outfit STEEL FORGE.
