ABYSMAL DAWN RELEASES "OBSOLESCENCE"

Death metal band Abysmal Dawn will be releasing a new album on October 24th. The album, entitled "Obsolescence" will be released through Relapse Records.  "Obsolescence" is the follow upto the band´s 2011 full length "Leveling the Plane of Existence". The album was recorded on Artisan Road Studios and was mixed and mastered in Trench Studios. "Obsolescence" will feature the following tracks:

ACHREN RELEASES NEW EP

Scottish black thrash metal band Achren will be releasing a three track EP entitled "The White Death". The EP will contain the tracks "Archangel", "The Eschatologist" and "Suomen Susi". "The White Death" was mastered and mixed in Drophammer Studios. "The White Death" is the follow up to the band´s 2011 album "The Forgotten King".

ORANGE GOBLIN RELEASES "BACK FROM THE ABYSS"

"Back from the Abyss" is the name of the new album by stoner metal band Orange Goblin. The album was mastered at Turan Audio studios and will be released through Candlelight Records on October 7th. "Back from the Abyss" was produced once again by Jamie Dodd and is the follow up to 2012´s "A Eulogy for the Damned" and the live album "A Eulogy for the fans".

ANAAL NATHRAKH DELIVERS "DESIDERATUM"

British extreme metallers Anaal Nathrakh will be releasing a new full length album entitled "Desideratum" on October 24th. SANCTUARY RELEASES COMEBACK ALBUM

Reformed power metal band Sanctuary will be releasing a new album entitled "The Year the Sun Died". The album will be launched on October 6th through Century Media Records. This is the band´s first full length album since 1989´s "Into the Mirror Black". Sanctuary presents their classic line-up of Warrel Dane on vocals, Jim Sheppard on bass, Lenny Rutledge on guitars and Dave Budbill on drums. The band has added new guitarist Brad Hull to the line-up, replacing Shannon Sharp. "The Year the Sun Died" features the following tracks:

Sweden´s power metallers Evergrey will be releasing their new album "Hymns for the Broken" on September 26th. The album will be released through AFM Records and marks the comeback of guitarist Henrik Danhage and drummer Jonas Ekdahl to the band. The album is the follow up to the band´s 2011 opus "Glorious Collision" (there is also a 2011 compilation entitled "A Decade and a Half"). "Hymns for the Broken" will feature the following tracks:

1349 RELEASES "MASSIVE CAULDRON OF CHAOS"

Norwegian black metal masters 1349 will be releasing a new album on September 29th, entitled "Massive Cauldron of Chaos". The new album is the follow up to the band´s 2010 opus "Demonoir". "Massive Cauldron..." will be released through Indie REcordings and will feature 8 tracks (check tracklist below).

In other related news, 1349 will be releasing also a vinyl single containing a cover of Voivod´s "Tornado on October 4th. The single will be released through Decibel Records.

GOD DETHRONED REUNITES FOR 70000 TONS OF METAL

Dutch death metal masters God Dethroned will reunite for a show in the 70.000 Tons of Metal cruise. After splitting in 2012 the band will reunite to do the 2015 cruise show and they are also scheduling some more shows.

OMMADON RELEASED NEW ALBUM

Doom metal band from Glasgopw has just released their third full length album, entitled simply "V". The album contains two long tracks: "V1" that is over 47 minutes long, and "V2" that is over 39. The album was released in 12" vinyl by Domestic Genocide Records.

LAIKA RELEASES FULL LENGTH "SOMNIA"

Canadian melodic death metal band Laika will be releasing their second full length album entitled "Somnia". The album is the follow up to the EP of the same name that was released on 2011.
