ANATOMY TO RELEASE "PERFORM THE OPERATION"
Japanese power metal band ANATOMY will release their new album "Perform the Operation" on June 26th. The new album is the debut full length release by the band and the follow up to their EP "Organize the Organs" released in 2019. NEAERA RELEASE "DEATHLESS" VIDEO
German melodic death metal band NEAERA have just released a video for the tune "Deathless". The tracks is part of the band´s latest album "Neaera" released last February. The live footage featured in the video was filmed on February 29th during the band's album release show in Münster, Germany. "Neaera" is the band´s comeback album since they disbanded in 2015 and then did some reunion shows in 2018.
GRAVE DISGRACE RELEASE "REST IN PEACE"
Russian stoner doom metal band GRAVE DISGRACE will release their new album "Rest in Peace" on June 26th. The new album is the band´s fourth full length release and the follow up to their "Catacomb Live" live album released in 2019. The band´s previous studio album was "Sabbatharium" released in 2018. "Rest in Peace" was recorded and mixed by Aleksei Uvarov at 2S Records December 2019 - March 2020. The album was mastered by James Plotkin at Plotkinworks, Philadelphia. More info on:

DIABOLIC OATH RELEASE "PROFANE DEATH EXODUS"
Portland, Oregon black death metal band DIABOLIC OATH, featuring members from SHROUD OF THE HERETIC and ex members of BLOOD FREAK, will release their new album "Profane Death Exodus" on June 26th. The new album is the debut full length release by the band that has also released the "MMXVIII" demo in 2018 and the "Rehearsal MMXIX" demo in 2019. ORFVS RELEASE "CEREMONY OF DARKNESS" EP
Finnish melodic black metal band ORFVS, featuring FUNERARY BELL and ex PANTHEON OF BLOOD members, will release their new EP "Ceremony of Darkness" on June 26th. The new EP is the third release by the band. They have also released a demo in 2010 and another EP, "The Greatest Sacrifice" in 2011. "Ceremony of Darkness" will be released on 7" vinyl through Spread Evil Distribution and will feature four tracks (over 6 minutes each).

THIS DAY 30 YEARS AGO: DEICIDE RELEASES DEBUT ALBUM
DEICIDE was not a new band on the death metal scene in 1990. In fact they were known as AMON and had released two demos, "Feasting the Beast" recorded in 1987 and "Sacrificial" released in 1989. Both demos were later re-released in 1993 under the DEICIDE moniker and the title "Amon: Feasting the Beast". When AMON got the contract signed with Roadrunner Records they changed their name to DEICIDE and recorded this death metal masterpiece. "Deicide" was recorded at Morrisound Studios, Tampa, Florida on March 1990 and was mastered at The Hit Factory DMS, New York, NY. Finally, the album was released on June 24th 1990. The line-up that recorded the album is the classic one from the first DEICIDE albums: Glen Benton on bass and vocals, Steve Asheim on drums and the brothers Eric Hoffman and Brian Hoffman (who years later reformed AMON) on guitars.
XASTHUR RELEASES "THE MORIBUND CULT YEARS" BOX SET
After Malefic decided to stop the black metal band known as XASTHUR in 2010 we were left wanting more and there were interesting releases like the "Wooden Box" box set from 2018 or the historic "1997-1999 Rehearsal" album. Now, here we have this release (it will be out on June 26th) that features the two 2004 albums "Telepathic with the Deceased" and "To Violate the Oblivious" along with the 2006 EP "Xasthur". The box set will be released through Dissonance Productions. More info on:
